So, it's been over a year from my original review and I thought I would update since I've had McKenzie transform my look from being tired to just amazing!!!! I honestly can't say enough about them. I never feel like she pushes anything on me. She's so honest with her opinions about what you should do as opposed to what you think you need. Thanks to Yelp, I found McKenzie at Ageless Image who is excellent! Today was my first visit to Ageless Image after my plastic surgeon retired last year. (I had two prior consults with other offices that I was not comfortable with). You will find the atmosphere very pleasant and professional. McKenzie, (the owner and person who administers the injectables) is very sincere, friendly and a great communicator. A perfect balance of listening yet, giving her opinion and explanation of products making it easy to understand. Prices were given up front, in a transparent, forthright manner. My outcome was better with McKenzie this first time than the entire duration I was treated with my former plastic surgeon for eight years. I am really thrilled! I found McKenzie on Yelp, and was impressed with the multiple positive reviews. I called the office a week before my appointment as I was nervous about first time Botox and Juvederm injections. The receptionist was so sweet and calmed all my fears. She gave me tips to reduce inflammation and gave me her first hand experience. Arriving at the office, I was pleased to see such a clean and inviting atmosphere. McKenzie counseled me on what products would be best for me. I was very nervous about discomfort I would feel. I'm happy to report that all of my fears were unfounded and I felt no discomfort whatsoever. Mckenzie uses a numbing cream that makes everything a breeze. I was very nervous about looking unnatural, so I wanted her to be conservative. Well, we were a bit too conservative. Mackenzie's staff texts two weeks post-treatment, to see how things are going. I have been debating leaving this review for months now but decided I want to help someone else who might be like me, initially selecting Ageless Image because of their stellar reviews. I went in for a hydra-facial which was amazing and ended up setting up an appointment for Botox and lip filler (Juvederm) after speaking with McKenzie at length. I'm 35 and this was my first experience with this type of thing. I look young for my age and wanted to prevent wrinkles and add a little pout to my already full lips. There was no pressure and I was excited. She and her staff were friendly and McKenzie seemed genuinely caring and knowledgeable. However, the issues started a few days after my injections. My lips formed weird lumps/bubbles and wrinkled pockets, and my brows/eyes had a severe droop. I went back in and was assured it could be corrected. I received more Juvederm and Botox. The explanation was that some people have deeper pockets in their lips and therefore need more product to receive ideal results. I was satisfied with the explanation and excited to finally see the results everyone else has left raving reviews about. Well, days later I now had Jack Nicholson eyebrows with a little Grinch mixed in. When they called to check up on me and my results I was very honest in my disappointment. They were apologetic and friendly but I advised I would not be back. A while later I moved out of state and decided to give Botox another try and have since seen what a true injection expert can do. Unfortunately, my lips haven't been so lucky. It has been over a year and my lips still have the weird bubbles that make them deformed (especially when I smile). I have researched and been told the Juvederm should have dissolved by now but a few lucky people can see results that last 2 years! That would have been great if my work were not botched. I have spoken to a plastic surgeon who advised the filler can be dissolved but it is expensive and I'm hesitant because it seems like the lumps have permanently altered/stretched the lip skin and I'm scared to see what the final result will be. Overall the folks at Ageless Image were friendly and professional but that's not enough to make up for the disappointment I felt and am still going through. ******Edited to RESPOND to McKenzie****** McKenzie, I'm glad I was able to see your response here on Yelp since I have not been notified of any attempt of contact by you. It is 100% untrue that I did not check your Yelp reviews which led me to selecting your business. I saw the Hydrafacial services first and received that service, which I was perfectly honest about. I was also honest and accurate in saying it was after that service that I decided to get the injectables. Read my review again. It is also 100% untrue that I did not voice my dissatisfaction with the person who called during both the first and second phone check-ups. Voicing my dissatisfaction the first time is what led me back to your office getting more injectables to correct the initial issue. During second phone check-up, I literally said verbatim, "I have Jack Nicholson eyebrows" why would that be ok? No one wants eyebrows like that. I wasn't going to chance a third disappointment, so no, I was not planning on going back to give you another chance. Your 5 star reviews are exactly what lead me to you and exactly why I decided to leave my review. Your services and skills are not flawless and without fault and that impression should not be given. I couldn't get in as quickly as I wanted to, but the staff updated me on cancellations through text and got me in sooner than expected. They're extremely friendly and not pretentious in any way.
