After building and moving into our dream home in October 2020, we were faced with finding a lawn care service for a little over 2 acres. I did not anticipate it being difficult to find a service, but 2020 was a rough one and then the winter weather event in 2021 added another level of crazy! I had several people come out and walk the property to give me quotes, the first one ghosted me and the second one spent well over an hour and then emailed me saying he could not service my area...why did he waste his time and mine?? I called and set up a time with Alberto Gallardo, one of their Turf Manager's. Alberto was so polite, courteous and attentive to my wants/needs. I was forthcoming with Alberto about being a perfectionist and picky about my lawn, and he assured me they could deliver upon my expectations. I have been using Agave LD since April and could not be happier. They are responsive to my needs and if there are any issues, they make it right, and they strive to make me happy...what more could I ask for. What made us pick Agave among other companies was because during consultation Megan was very professional. You can tell she loves and knows her job. She provided us with a great design and 3D renderings of what our backyard would look like after all the work is done. I can say with Agave what you see on those renderings is what you get. Our landscaping project included installation of a stone patio, revamping of existing flower beds, sod installation, lighting installation, drip irrigation installation. From start to finish, the team at Agave was responsive and creative in regard to our many yard projects. They designed and installed an irrigation system, new sod, landscaping in our front and back yards, and created a patio with a wooden pavilion where none had been before. Throughout the process the team was quick to react to any issue or question that we had. Megan and Eduardo were particularly patient with my husband and me. Being retirees who had relocated from New England to Texas to be near one of our daughters, we had a lot of questions about living and adapting in this new environment. We were very impressed with the willingness of the team to deal with minor changes to the plan as our project progressed. We've been using Agave for over a year now and definitely recommend them (actually we have neighbors using them now too). We were looking for comprehensive services, meaning I don't touch a thing outside, ever, and that's what we've gotten. Additionally, we wanted oversight of the services meaning someone in charge to make sure all of the services are getting done and getting done right because again, I don't want to have to point out issues and them have them fixed - I just don't want them to begin with. Edwin performs that service for us and we're very satisfied. Lastly, as everyone else has pointed out, if I need a special service, all I have to do is ask and Edwin gets me a professional bid and then performs the requested service. We are thoroughly satisfied with the work done. They exceeded our expectations throughout the job. Edwin was very attentive to what we wanted and designed our landscaping better than we had hoped. Throughout the job ( Which was started and completed in the timeframe that was promised. ), his crew was very careful to minimize any damage to our existing lawn and shrubs. In addition, they cleaned the job site up every day when they were finished. When all work had been done, they made every effort to leave our property in the same condition as it was when they arrived, including mulching the grass areas that had been affected and power washing the driveway and sidewalk. Agave is not the cheapest landscaper in the area but they definitely deliver on their promises and you get all of what you paid for. Edwin, his brother Erik and the whole crew are absolutely the best to work with! We did completely new landscaping front to back including redoing some of the sprinkler system. They came up with the design and presented it very professionally in a 3D computer program as well as a colored rendering so it was very easy to see what it was going to look like in the end. They worked with plants that we said we liked as well as suggested new ones we were not familiar with. The whole process was very enjoyable and it turned out beautiful! They are now maintaining are lawns and beds weekly and doing an awesome job! No complaints here at all. If you ever have the need to call with a question or concern Eric actually answers his phone or gets back with you very quickly...unlike our previous landscape/maintenance company. I found Agave on Google after moving to a new house and being frustrated by several different previous yard services. If the past seven months or so is any indication, I'll be happily using them for years to come. They do a fantastic job with my mows, and they'll do all sorts of other stuff too, if you want them to. (But not in an annoying high-pressure-sales way.) I have them handling fertilization, flower bed decoration and cleanup, and even my sprinklers now. They send emails that are ACTUALLY USEFUL (like, "now's the time to change your sprinklers to the spring timing setting"). The workers are always really friendly and helpful. Heck, Eduardo even flagged me down one day to show me a leaking sprinkler head in my neighbor's yard, and then helped my neighbor and me diagnose the problem. TLDR: If you want a really nice yard but don't want to have to think about it, just hire Agave. read more

All We can really say is ,"WOW!" Agave has done such a wonderful job with our landscaping. We've seen their work throughout our subdivision, and neighbors yards. We decided to set up a consultation with Sara. She came up with some beautiful designs ,and she asked us what items we would like that would fit our home/yard and what would fit in our budget. We had our drive way extended and wanted a walking path for the front yard. We also had a walking path on the side for our trash and recycling bins. On the right side of the house we had a walking path with stones. Our 2nd project we had landscaping and stones layered with spiraling trees and beautiful flowers. Agave also laid down sod in the yard. My husband and I are so pleased with the quality and workmanship Agave has provided. Edwin and Eric listen carefully and are very responsive. They gave us good advice and followed through well with a hard working crew that got the job done efficiently. We hired them to test and repair our irrigation sprinkler system and to do general clean up and make the yard look nicer. They tested each sprinkler zone and did repairs where they found problems. They did a marvelous job of trimming our Crepe Myrtle trees and cleaning up everything else. They brought in a lot of mulch for the flower and shrub beds. We were impressed with their service and also hired them to do weekly lawn maintenance, cutting grass and trimming. Their prices are fair, they do good work and do it quickly.
