Very pleasantly surprised with this Mexican restaurant in the parking of Walmart. Everything we ordered was delicious. The pozole, chorizo con papa, egg with bacon strip and bean with cheese taco were very tasty. The salsas were delicious as well. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend. I have noticed this spot a few times but always forget to try... Better than most chains around the Alamo ranch area. I'm stopped by on A Monday had a basic eggs with sausage, potatoes and beans. I also added a carne guisada with cheese taco. All with fresh home-made flour tortillas. That usually all I need to give this spot my thumbs up! Great flavor, the potatoes had a great crisp to them like hash browns... different and I like! The carne guisada was with the red gravy and flavorful ... no disappointments here! Great portions also. Customer service was excellent, and the food was served promptly and hot! I will be back with other guests soon to continue to try other items on the menu.... Especially other breakfast tacos! The Picadillo tacos were very good, nice restaurant setting, large glass of beverage and many menu items to choose from. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant. BEWARE: There is a 2.99% charge for using a credit/debit card, luckily I had cash. read more

It was going to be a new restaurant for us to try because of good ratings. When we arrived they were doing good business. We sat down and were given menus quickly. Within a few minutes they came for our drinks order....coffee and sweet tea. 15 minutes later we were still waiting for the drinks, despite many servers walking by. I noticed the couple arrive at table next to us. They also gave their drinks order, and they arrived within minutes. They must have ordered their meals at that time because they were delivered soon after. We were still sitting at the table with the menus...and no beverages. After 20 minutes a new server arrived. We told her we had been waiting for about 20 minutes. Her reply "It's okay" Hmmmm....not the best reply I thought. She then asked us what drinks we wanted and we told her we had ordered them 20 minutes ago and nobody had come. Her reply "That's okay " at which point she tried to take our food order. We looked at each other after this conversation and I said " I'm a little disappointed that you didn't offer at least an apology for the lack of service" Her reply ? You guessed it "It's okay" How would you have felt at this point ? I was pretty angry, so we looked at each other and got up to leave. We told her we were going....and I don't need to tell you her flippant reply. No apology....no offer to comp anything....nada. So, we walked out. I guess the food is good ....everyone else seemed to be enjoying it. We won't be going back to find out, and judging from other comments here, I think their "service" and their food is not "okay" and needs some improvement. Be warned ! read more

Tried this place for the first time just cause I was close to it and hungry. Went through the drive through but lady on the speaker was helpful and answered any questions I had in a friendly manner "Spanish fluent". I chose the beef enchiladas which were really good and filling and also the special of the day (Tuesday). Beans were tasteful but rice was a bit bland but had good texture good rice is always hard to find at a restaurant. It also came with a drink. I also had ordered a lemonade and it came out to a little over 10.50$. Food was really hot and fresh, Only negative thing I can really say is the special didn't come with tortillas which is very strange but still ordered some they were great and homemade. If I could give 0 stars I would. Called to go back and get my money back. And they denied me only because other people don't complain about their food. What happened to the customer always being right?. I explained to the server that I don't care about what others think if they like their food for my taste buds it's disgusting. She apparently talked to the owner about this and he said that "because she didn't like the tacos I can't give her a refund". I got the 3x $4.50 potatoe and egg with flour tortilla. What kind of service is that. I'm happy they have business but for my taste they are by far the worst. We ordered 2 bean and cheese, 2 bacon and egg, and 1 chorizo tacos. I had 1 of the bacon and egg tacos and it was all bacon, I don't even see the egg. I get egg prices have increased but the tacos containing egg should look the same if the price is the same prior to the bird flu. This is really sad. We won't be back. read more

Second time I've received subpar tacos from this place. I ordered a chicharron and egg taco. There's hardly any egg in this taco and the chicharron is so overcooked, it's practically burnt tasting. A couple visits back, the same thing happened when I ordered a bacon and egg taco. It was as if I hadn't even requested egg in the taco. There was so much bacon in there and it was also burnt/overcooked tasting. read more

Went by for lunch. Ordered the asada street tacos. Meat was really good as were the charro beans. The red and green salsas were excellent, with the red having a little bit more spice to it. Would definitely come back and try other items. read more

The breakfast tacos are great always fresh! They have green & red salsa that are amazing! I have eaten inside couple of times, but the drive thru is where you can find me in the morning! They have a special 3x the same tacos for a great deal I ordered 9 tacos for $16 which is not bad at all. Bacon egg / bean egg / bean cheese w bacon! All delicious! Drive thru service is quick and easy! The inside is clean and small enough to accommodate for a couple of families. This spot is a great breakfast tacos type of spot and will definitely recommend. read more

This was my first time here and I ordered the menudo. I will say there was alot in the container. However there was zero flavor. I had to season the heck out of it when I got home. To be honest I was better off going inside Walmart and getting Juanita's canned menudo, at least that one has some flavor. The tacos were delicious , full of flavor and the tortillas were fresh along with the contents (plenty of spam) in the tacos. It has just been opened a few months so I decided to give it a try to support the small businesses. Unfortunately, that was not a smart move on my part. The food is terrible, terrible. I ordered your basic potato & eggs tacos and the chorizo & egg. I could not find the eggs anywhere and the taste was quite bland. Very disappointing. Customer service was lacking. There was no greeting at the window which I believe to be important, especially when it's a new business and they are trying to attract and maintain clientele. I got in line at 10:58. there were four cars in front of me but by the time I got to the window it was 11:06am. The ordering and paying process at the window was quite slow. They had a special that I wanted to order but because it was past 11 am when I got to the ordering window she said I could no longer order the special. I thought that was a bad customer service decision on her part, but I didn't say anything. I asked for salt as I'm moving and I have none at home, she gave me one packet. Typically, when you order three tacos, They'll give you at least two packets of salt. My last parting words are ----terrible terrible. Stay away save your money go somewhere else. read more

Pictures on the site had me a little weary about this place. I've visited twice in two weeks, ordered diffrent items off the menu, and both times have been been really good. Food on point, very good. The tortillas were excellent. Drive through does take a little long. I don't like paying extra for extra hot sauce. Not the greatest place for a taco but I'll definitely make this place a go to. Always great service and the portions are XXL. The food is always good... the only thing I would recommend is to have a better salsa for the tacos. Is always a little watery and kinda bland. Just add a yummy salsa and this restaurant would be on another level. read more
