I am a massage therapist and a coworker of mine referred me to Dr. Dodie early this year. She was phenomenal! And although I only received treatment from her for a few months before her retirement, I knew that whoever took over her practice would also be phenomenal. Enter, Dr. Erickson. He is highly skilled, listens to exactly what is going on in my body and tailors his adjustments to my needs. I also referred a colleague to him and she loves his work as well. And huge shout out to Jennifer, one of the massage therapists at the clinic! I had such a wonderful, restorative, and inspiring massage with her last week. She listened to my needs and created lasting, deep change without any soreness, allowing me to work at my best the following day. So grateful! When you're in, be sure to say hello to Lupe, the receptionist. She is always welcoming, so helpful, and you can tell she is one of the people who makes everything happen there! read more

5 stars for Dr Paul, unfortunately he retired :( He will be sorely missed. Dr Zach has taken over his business. read more

if I could give 0 stars I would . I scheduled an appointment yesterday and got about 5 calls trying to reschedule my appointment because the doctor wasn't in then they tell me I can see another doctor at 2pm. I fill out all the paperwork again for the new doctor and then they call me and push it to 3. i get there at 3 sit about 15 minutes then Dr. Dodie who was supposed to work on me tells me that she's not the right doctor to be working on me. I go home and they schedule me for 9am the next day. I get there and they're still closed. I call 4 or 5 times nobody picks up. they open about 10 minutes later around 9:15 and I get in and get told there's no doctors in. worst experience I've ever had with something like this. read more

Some say there's only one thing worse than a bad back. Bad knees. Well I had the first and am happy i don't have the second knock on wood. Lower Lumbar degeneration is what the doctors tell me. Sciatica pain, stuck in a bent slightly sideways stance, had a hard time even standing in a line. Had to stop going to the gym which I'm 6 day a weeker aged 60. My life was taken from me basically because of it and after a month of agony decided to take the advice of a coworker and see Dr. Paul. Fast forward 2 weeks and It's so great to be back in the gym and have my life back!! read more

After just a few visits, I am glad I chose to come here. Dr. van Berkel is very charismatic and makes you feel comfortable. I have a specific condition with my neck, and he was very careful and attentive to the area. He does in-house X-Rays which was a nice perk because he could take them right then and there to see what was going on with my situation. It is evident that he cares for the patient and their well-being at the forefront. I appreciate his approach and treatment plans. You can tell that it's not about getting people in, it's about making people feel better. The office is nice and spacious and the treatment rooms are nice and personal. I'm so glad I found this office and recommend him to anyone that is looking for relief! read more

Here's why I recommend Agave Chiropractic, I.e. Dr Paul. I'm 55 & had back problems for 15 years, so bad it was affecting my arms & legs. Two different surgeons said I needed my back fused and was taking 8 tramadol a day, hadn't been able to work for 2 years, when a long-time family friend recommended Dr Paul & finally I listened. Now, I've been seeing Dr Paul for 9 months , no tramadol, I'm back to work, the numbness & tingling in my hands & legs is gone. I get adjusted every 3 weeks. I am truly thankful to Dr Paul for getting me back to living again! read more

I have been to a number of chiropractors over the last two years due to disc damage from a car accident and Dr. Paul is the best. Whereas other chiropractors just provided the same treatment they provided for everyone, Dr. Paul has tailored his approach to my specific injuries and needs. It's the first time I've felt relief in progress in two years. In addition, he REALLY cares about his patients and works hard to ensure that things are improving to get you to the place where you don't need to come as often. If you want personalized care, relief, and superior bedside manner definitely go here. read more

Had such a great experience at Agave. I was a new patient & I called in looking for immediate relief as I had debilitating pain. He fit me into a completely full schedule & never made me feel rushed throughout the services. Dr. Was very knowledgeable and made sure I understood everything that we would be doing. Upon leaving I had already felt immediate relief. I'm glad I chose to come here for nerve pain and not mask it with urgent care prescriptions. Not only did he help me in the moment but he assured me that he was available to speak about any issues after my appointment. Also have me exercises to do at home.I will be returning regularly until the pain is relieved and I would definitely recommend this office. read more

This review is for Caite Craddock, the new massage therapist at The Agave Center. Having Caite is a major asset for any business. I've been a client of hers for about two years now and she's fantastic. She'll schedule appointments via text or email and she's definitely from the "no pain, no gain" school of deep tissue massage. I spend most of my time at a computer screen, so I sometimes find myself counting the days between monthly visits to her! Give her a try--she'll work with you on payment or packages to make her services affordable! read more

This is for Lou Ann Kane, the newer massage therapist at Agave Chiropractic. I have terrible neck and shoulder pain from working at my computer. I tried other massages before Lou Ann, but I found true and complete relief with her. I first found Lou Ann's web site (phxmassage.com) with her pictures of past clients like Charles Barkley, Kevin Johnson and testimonials by Danny Ainge, the Phoenix Rattlers and others. Then I knew Lou Ann is the real deal. 30 years of experience. All I have to tell her is where it hurts and she knows exactly what to do. Her fingers literally have pain radar! I know it is years of experience, but also her deep knowledge of physiology that makes the difference. I told her one spot where I had pain, and she replied, "then I bet you also have pain here and here" and she literally out her fingers right on the spots. She found points I wasn;t even aware of - so when I left I felt even better than I expected to feel. She cured the pain I came in for - and went beyond to places that were being masked by the original pain. Of course she uses deep tissue (all serious therapists do that) but with Lou Ann the "pain" never felt so good. You will literally be saying "That's the spot" as she works out the knots, as long as it takes, to get that complete relief you need. It's silly, but I always walk out singing 'It hurts so good" - because with real massage the "pain" is not pain, it is relief, and the relief is lasting. That's my feeling. Lou Ann has told me there are other methods as well; acupressure, applied physiology, etc. She attended the Palmer School of Chiropractic and studied with some of the best, so her approach to healing is multifaceted. Her testimonials show that she has also helped people with deep, chronic pain issues caused by more than typical muscle knots & toxins. Here is the thing - when you get a massage, you want results that last, to walk out feeling good. You should know to drink plenty of water and you will probably want a nap right away, but you will wake up feeling like a new person and feel good for weeks - until your next appointment. read more

I've had need for Dr. Paul van Berkel's services twice now. The first time was several years ago following a back injury while competing in a martial arts tournament. Dr. Van Berkel was incredibly helpful and thorough. Within a few visits I was good as new. The most recent time was a few months ago following another training injury, this time worse than before. I had pinched a nerve under my shoulder blade causing radiating pain in my shoulder and down my arm resulting in significant strength loss to that side. On top of all that, my back was significantly out of alignment. Once again, he was so effective in helping me out. He designed a treatment plan starting with weekly adjustments then tapering off. He also gave me some exercises to develop better posture habits going forward. It's 3 months later and I'm back to intense training. In fact I fly out to Tokyo next week to compete in a jiu-jitsu tournament. Thanks Dr.!!! On a side note, I've referred my mother to him as well with the same excellent results. read more
