if I could give 0 stars I would . I scheduled an appointment yesterday and got about 5 calls trying to reschedule my appointment because the doctor wasn't in then they tell me I can see another doctor at 2pm. I fill out all the paperwork again for the new doctor and then they call me and push it to 3. i get there at 3 sit about 15 minutes then Dr. Dodie who was supposed to work on me tells me that she's not the right doctor to be working on me. I go home and they schedule me for 9am the next day. I get there and they're still closed. I call 4 or 5 times nobody picks up. they open about 10 minutes later around 9:15 and I get in and get told there's no doctors in. worst experience I've ever had with something like this. read more

Some say there's only one thing worse than a bad back. Bad knees. Well I had the first and am happy i don't have the second knock on wood. Lower Lumbar degeneration is what the doctors tell me. Sciatica pain, stuck in a bent slightly sideways stance, had a hard time even standing in a line. Had to stop going to the gym which I'm 6 day a weeker aged 60. I have a specific condition with my neck, and he was very careful and attentive to the area. He does in-house X-Rays which was a nice perk because he could take them right then and there to see what was going on with my situation. Here's why I recommend Agave Chiropractic, I.e. Dr Paul. I'm 55 & had back problems for 15 years, so bad it was affecting my arms & legs. This is for Lou Ann Kane, the newer massage therapist at Agave Chiropractic. I have terrible neck and shoulder pain from working at my computer. I tried other massages before Lou Ann, but I found true and complete relief with her. I first found Lou Ann's web site (phxmassage.com) with her pictures of past clients like Charles Barkley, Kevin Johnson and testimonials by Danny Ainge, the Phoenix Rattlers and others. Then I knew Lou Ann is the real deal. 30 years of experience. All I have to tell her is where it hurts and she knows exactly what to do. Her fingers literally have pain radar! I know it is years of experience, but also her deep knowledge of physiology that makes the difference. I told her one spot where I had pain, and she replied, "then I bet you also have pain here and here" and she literally out her fingers right on the spots. She found points I wasn;t even aware of - so when I left I felt even better than I expected to feel. She cured the pain I came in for - and went beyond to places that were being masked by the original pain. Of course she uses deep tissue (all serious therapists do that) but with Lou Ann the "pain" never felt so good. You will literally be saying "That's the spot" as she works out the knots, as long as it takes, to get that complete relief you need. It's silly, but I always walk out singing 'It hurts so good" - because with real massage the "pain" is not pain, it is relief, and the relief is lasting. That's my feeling. Lou Ann has told me there are other methods as well; acupressure, applied physiology, etc. She attended the Palmer School of Chiropractic and studied with some of the best, so her approach to healing is multifaceted. I've had need for Dr. Paul van Berkel's services twice now. The first time was several years ago following a back injury while competing in a martial arts tournament. Dr. Van Berkel was incredibly helpful and thorough. Within a few visits I was good as new. The most recent time was a few months ago following another training injury, this time worse than before. I had pinched a nerve under my shoulder blade causing radiating pain in my shoulder and down my arm resulting in significant strength loss to that side. On top of all that, my back was significantly out of alignment. Once again, he was so effective in helping me out. He designed a treatment plan starting with weekly adjustments then tapering off. He also gave me some exercises to develop better posture habits going forward. It's 3 months later and I'm back to intense training.
