Stopped in for a gel manicure as my niece recommended Agaci. I'm glad they were having opening specials because their regular prices are quite high. I did not like the "dry" cuticle treatment. My cuticles did not look as good as from other salons. The little extras like the hot paraffin and shoulder massage are quite nice. However, I would rather forgo those extras if it meant the regular prices would be a little lower. My technician was not very chatty. That's okay, but it is nice if you can have at least a short conversation. It can be awkward just sitting and looking into space! It looks beautiful although couldn't get service. Prime time -noon on Sun and although many chairs and only 3-4 in them they couldn't accommodate me for three hrs! They just lost $60 ($50 pedi&mani)bc didn't have enough staff! Poor planning-esp bc they say they take walk ins. I'm so disappointed!! The shop itself is gorgeous with generally friendly staff. Excellent Green Tea pedicure especially for this tired new mama. I am new to the area and this was the first place I tried since moving to MA. I have since visited a handful of times and I've experienced both great and okay services, it just depends on if you get someone who is meticulous (or not). read more

This is a very relaxing spa. I went and got a pedicure and a gel manicure. I got their more basic pedicure and it was lovely! Their chairs are self-massage and it comes with a 5-minute foot massage as well as hot wax to soften the heels! The manicure was super relaxing as they offer free 5-minute massages during them! Tipping is optional. The gel manicure did not include the pre-soaking which was nice (that surprised me, as most places I go soak my cuticles). My cuticles are still holding up very nicely. I'd say each service took about 45 minutes and my total was $60. I tipped the masseur $5 and my nail tech $15. For both services, I had Irene. My friend also went with me and she got a $50 pedicure and gel manicure. Her pedicure was above their basic level (Orange treatment). She had her feet wrapped for callous removal. Looked awesome! The reason I took a star away was because my friend did not get a foot massage or free back massage with her manicure. She was supposed to get both. read more

This place is amazing. Their prices are on the high side but worth it!! Right now they are running a special $20 pedi regular $37. But it was the best ever. Lots of little extras. Hot stone and hand massage on legs. Hot towel and wax on heels. Gel mani is $20 for the special . It is regularly $35 but again lots of extras. Also shoulder massage and hot stone! It is to die for. The first time I went to a'gaci it was fine. I spent $75 for a mani pedi, which is pretty steep for the area but I don't mind paying for a place that has an autoclave. I went back to get a gel manicure, which is $35 (and I decline the massage and the parrifin wax)... it was pretty close to closing and the manager who was performing a manicure asked a girl who was cleaning up getting ready to leave asked her to take me on six. The girl declined and asked her friend to do it in Thai. He was finishing with a party of women getting ready for a wedding. He seemed annoyed and then accepted. I sat down and he asked me if I had gels, which I did. This seemed to annoy him. He told me at this point he had an appointment and got up. He came back and started trimming my cuticles with the dirty tools he had used on the party before me. I was horrified, but it's not the first time something like this has happened to me so I didn't speak up. He kept getting up to check on another client who was drying her nails to ask her if she wanted to pay. He came back and forcefully used a cuticle pusher to remove the gel polish... he was pretty annoyed about having to do my nails and kept throwing my fingers away to indicate that I should put them under the light. At one point he threw my freshly painted finger nails into the light and then complained that they had been damaged. The paint was sloppy and all over my fingers and cuticles. As I was leaving I was trying to pick the paint off and the manager asked me if it was ok. I told her that he had painted over my cuticles and under my fingernail. She told me she would fix it and Kevin the nail tech came over with the cuticle cutter he was using on another client and began cutting the skin around my nail and my cuticle. I generally don't complain about things like this, but I specifically came to this salon because of the autoclave. I expected that it would be sanitary, however it was not. The next day my middle finger began swelling and began turning dark red. This is a sign of bacterial infection that can be brought on by cutting cuticles too aggressively or with dirty tools. I understand that it blows when someone shows up close to closing, but if you cannot serve me in the way that I deserve please tell me to come back another day. TLDR: don't come too close to when they close because they will give you a sloppy manicure and use dirty tools on you and your finger may swell up to the size of a golf ball. read more

I enjoyed pedicure but when doing my fingernails, technician noticed a broken nail one that had broke all the way to my nail bed. I said not as short as that but she cut them all that short. When I mentioned I did not like length she cut other hand same way. When I said I has unhappy she said she doesn't understand English . I asked for manager no response but when I said fine but not paying, she understood. Technician cried throughout my mani. Guilt got me I paid for the botched mani but never will go back. read more

I love love love this salon. I have been trying different nail salons (I'm picky) in the area for 4 years and I was never able to find one that I was impressed with. The salon is beautiful, clean and the staff is friendly. I get my nails and waxing done there. It's a clean salon and the techs working there are professional and courteous. My issue is,that in the year I have been going there, the owner has not brought in any new nail colors. Given all the collections OPI comes out with, you'd think she could spring for one or two as they come out. I keep asking and she keeps having excuses as towhy she didn't buy any new ones. Now they've raised their prices for a gel manicure by $5.00 so I think Im going to find a new salon with new colors. read more

I went here because a friend told me it was great but it was not. The facility itself is very nice and clean but i felt the employees were somewhat unfriendly & rude. The girl that did my nails didn't say two words to me and looked absolutely miserable and that made me very uncomfortable. All in all it was a very awkward and uncomfortable experience. I do not recommend. There are so many other wonderful nail salons in that area that are way better and have people that appreciate your business. read more

Had the worst experience here. Made an appointment for 3 people for my birthday. My friend had her nails done. My other friend was completely ignored for a manicure and my experience was completely unprofessional and I would never suggest anyone to come here. The woman sat down and started my nails. She was completely distracted by any and everything and during my appointment she gets up and takes a walk in eyebrow wax???? I was left there to sit for 15 Minutes while she took care of a walk in. I am a big fan of this place!! They had many staff members working so there was no wait whatsoever... (granted I did have an appointment ahead of time). The salon itself was beautiful inside! Very clean, professional and a great polish selection. I got a pedicure and she did a wonderful job, using hot stones and all kinds of oils to enhance the experience. As my nails were drying she then came over and gave a brief back massage which was very relaxing as well! Prices are a little high, but you really are getting your money's worth!! I got a regular manicure and loved it! It lasted for a long time and the entire treatment was great.

I was given a gift card to Agaci for Mother's Day. The salon itself is beautiful and very clean. I received a gel manicure on Sunday afternoon and by Tuesday at 8 am four of my nails were chipped. I am not normally one to complain but it hadn't even been 48 hours. I decided to go back to the store and was basically told that the wear and tear I was seeing was "normal" and then the girl working the front desk started speaking very loudly in another language and all then workers had turned and were looking at me, it was extremely uncomfortable. I was then asked to sit and the gentleman who "fixed" my nails just put a coat on the edge of each of my nails so that now every single nail has a ripple at the bottom, they look awful. I slept all day after working overnight last night so I didn't use my hands at all. I have now been at work since 11 PM and 2 of my "fixed" nails have already chipped again after using my hands for a total of four hours today. Yes, the salon is clean, the added paraffin and back massages are nice touches but if your product doesn't last it negates all the other additions you offer. Also, the way I was treated by the girl at the front desk was less than pleasing, you lost a customer who still has gift card money to spend. read more
