The chicken was exceptionally bland. It really had no flavor at all. Perhaps I caught them on an off moment. They certainly had plenty of people on line, most of whom were very familiar with the guys on the truck, so I'm guessing they must be doing something right.

I can see why. I was greeted promptly at the door when I entered. Given my choice of table to sit at. Dining room is very nice. Spacious and white table cloths on all of the tables. I ordered the large lamb shish kabob platter. More than enough chunks of lamb. Not tough, very flavorful. It came with rice which was also very flavorful and a very tasty salad. A condiment plate of a yogurt dressing and also a spicy red sauce was brought out first along with a basket of warm bread of some sort that was also very good. You can order the shish kabob platters in a small size also which comes with half as many chunks of meat. I got a baklava assortment (6) to go and ate half today. There were 3 different kinds and all were good. Note: I was the only diner when I entered a little after 6. Not sure why as the food was delicious and the atmosphere is very nice. Maybe Tuesday is a slow night for dining out on Staten Island. Quite a few folks trickled in later for a dinner meeting in the back dining room. Lastly, my server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I will definitely return next time I am in town.

Everything's made-to-order, so don't expect grab-and-go fast food. Food was still steaming by the time we made it home. The chicken tasted seasoned to the bone. We tried about 3 sauces and really loved them all. We thought the soy honey and sweet & spicy gave a really nice tang to the chicken, without being too overpowering. And of course, even sauced up, everything stayed nice and crispy. Even my in-laws (who are boomer-level picky) liked it. Will definitely be heading back there soon.

The chicken was so juicy and fresh, even the tenders, and it had the right amount of crisp without being overly battered. I got the soy garlic and sweet and spicy, and both sauces were really tasty and had me wishing I got extra for dipping. The sweet and spicy was definitely my fav, but it could have been more spicy. The box for the family set was so sturdy and nice, and the amount of food you get for the price is incredible. Even the fries that come with the set were nice and crispy without being overly greasy. The employee at the front was also so nice and welcoming. My expectations were nonexistent going into this since food options on the island have been a little bleak, but I'm absolutely blown away and will absolutely be a regular.

This was a bit too rich for me. My friend ordered it. Very tasty and different. Sujok - Syrian beef sausage delicious and different from Italian or polish sausage Spicy potatoes were incredible. We were starving like Marvin !! Lol !! So we yelped this Cafe Juliet's !!! What can I say? I could barely give this place a big three stars at best !!! Let's start here; their order system you walk up to the counter and you look at these huge single menus. You pick what you want and then you give your order; then if you're staying you get a number on a stick and you go to a table and sit down and wait for them to deliver your food... but wait; if you ordered hot beverages as we did two large coffees, they'll call your name and you gotta go back up there and pick up your own coffees and bring them back to your table .. Let's start with their coffee; we found their regular coffee to be a little disappointing; my coffee would be more like some kind of a watered down tea with a hint of Cardamom in it.. I asked my wife four times this taste like tea not coffee even she agreed; she went up to the counter and asked the gentleman. What kind of coffee do you guys use ?? honestly a very disappointing cup of coffee in my opinion... So we ordered a stack of pancakes; we ordered the ones with caramel came with fruit, bananas, blueberries walnuts; we both agreed this is the star of the show order the pancakes You won't be disappointed.... Don't forget to ask for butter this place serves pancakes without butter ?? I really wanted an American breakfast. Thought I was gonna get some corn beef hash & eggs ?? Not here in fact the Girl told me she only had two kinds of omelettes on the menu ?? The Wife wanted a simple bacon, egg and cheese on something preferably a bagel; but they only had a plain bagel croissant or a brioche ??? So she opted for a BLT; she ended up getting that on a brioche; not your American BLT for sure. I guess they use some kind of high end organic bacon or something ; Sorry it was just OK.... Found the bacon to be a bit gamy tasting.. I ordered the cream cheese and lox on a bagel with a Schmear; this was also pretty good; the Bagel for me is an epic fail definitely not a real authentic Bagel definitely a commercial Bagel trust me I know I use to own a bagel store so what I did was I just slid the cream cheese and the lox to 1/2 of the bagel and ate half. Take a look at the pictures the food looks incredible; the way they plate it & present it very nice !!! After watching all the clientele that were coming in and going out, we could tell this is for the younger kids, younger generation, the millennials the yuppies and I mean no disrespect by that !! Very big coffee selection cold and hot; as far as the cold beverage selection, just take a look at the pictures; when you look in their refrigerators and you could only really identify two of the beverages by their brand names, Ya just know this spot just might not be for you.... Lol The service was great; very fast and friendly; their dining room room was very clean; just a heads up we were freezing today; mind you I had sweatpants on and a hoodie and I was cold. The door seems to stay open so I can imagine how it's gonna get in there in the colder months... tip; if you don't like to be cold while dining move as close as you can to the kitchen; we watched three tables, get up and move closer to the kitchen because they were complaining about the cold air coming in.... We've been in the food business for years and what we learned is this; KISS AND THAT STANDs STANDS FOR KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID !! we found it works over 50 years in business, maintain consistency, and integrity. It will never fail you... Would I highly recommend this place? Honestly, no.; would I come back again yes no maybe if I was in the area. would I drive out of my way like I did today 20 minutes to get here? Definitely not. Oh, one more thing let's not forget about their prices $$$$ $58. Bucks plus a $10. Tip For semi table service we for it to be a little pricey. What can we say? Give them a try & definitely have the pancakes and sneak in your own coffee !! Lol !!! Thanks, Greg D & family

(Honestly think there was only 2 meat options vs like 6 vegetarian options.I saw the reviews said the vegetarian options were amazing, but I thought they were just okay, but definitely better than the meat options.
