Excellent price for incredible portions. I waited for only 10 minutes for my "King's Platter" which comes with basically everything on the menu and is ideal for sharing with a buddy. Really impressed with how fresh and not food carty everything tasted, as much (if not more) than some other brick and mortar spots with comparable food. "Chopped Cheese" - delectable morsels of ground beef swimming in a creamy cheese sauce. Def hits that late night burger craving with a twist. SO MANY SESAME SEEDS TOP AND BOTTOM "Jerk Chicken Tacos" - not as much of a fan of the seasoning, I probably just don't like jerk chicken in general. Mango salsa was delicious but would've liked more kick within the sweetness. "Nashville Hot Chicken" - I loved this one more than Birdie's and Namkeen's. Gotta give Dave's Hot Chicken another go before I can who the winner is, but let me just say that Graffitery's has a lip smacking rub on the chicken that's juicy and fried so it's not oily and gross. No options on the menu to adjust the spice levels, but I found the medium heat allowed me to really appreciate the flavors from the rub. Cheese Quesadillas - just what it sounds like, nothing more and nothing less. Add one of the meats from the menu if you don't want to feel like you just paid for an average quesadilla. If you ever see the awesome Graffiti tatted truck rolling away from its current location, please let me know because I'll follow this anywhere!

I've had my share of Korean fried chicken and I'd put this place up there with all of them. Staff…read morewas super-friendly and helpful. Greeted with a smile once we walked in. Everything's made-to-order, so don't expect grab-and-go fast food. Food was still steaming by the time we made it home. The chicken tasted seasoned to the bone. We tried about 3 sauces and really loved them all. We thought the soy honey and sweet & spicy gave a really nice tang to the chicken, without being too overpowering. And of course, even sauced up, everything stayed nice and crispy. Even my in-laws (who are boomer-level picky) liked it. Will definitely be heading back there soon.

The chicken was so juicy and fresh, even the tenders, and it had the right amount of crisp without being overly battered. I got the soy garlic and sweet and spicy, and both sauces were really tasty and had me wishing I got extra for dipping. The sweet and spicy was definitely my fav, but it could have been more spicy. The box for the family set was so sturdy and nice, and the amount of food you get for the price is incredible. Even the fries that come with the set were nice and crispy without being overly greasy. The employee at the front was also so nice and welcoming. My expectations were nonexistent going into this since food options on the island have been a little bleak, but I'm absolutely blown away and will absolutely be a regular.

Prices are quite reasonable, making it accessible without compromising quality. The ambience is thoughtfully designed, reflecting a traditional Sri Lankan aesthetic that enhances the dining experience. However, what truly sets this establishment apart is its outstanding hospitality. Julia and her mother, whom we had the pleasure of meeting during our visit (5/12/26), exemplify warmth and friendliness. Their courteous demeanor is balanced with a commendable level of professionalism, creating an inviting atmosphere that fosters connection and satisfaction. This restaurant is not just a meal; it's an experience that captures the essence of Sri Lankan culture in the heart of New York.

WEEKEND BUFFET REVIEW ONLY…read more Came on a weekend with some friends to try out the much touted weekend buffet. Overall, I think it all just fell short for me. Every dish just felt bland. From the egg curry to the lentils to the kale & coconut, nothing was particularly memorable. I also found the desserts... just not good. The mango mousse and sago pudding were passable, but I think everyone at the table universally though the caramel pudding was terrible. Buffet is cash only. After tax and tip, it shook out to be about $30 per person. I definitely had some buyer's remorse and instead wished I had done a la carte. I saw a few people ordering kottu for example that looked DELICIOUS. Definitely something I'd do if I were to ever come back. The service though was great. Quick to refill water and clean plates. Always checking in on us, these folks were great. The decorations inside the restaurant were also definitely unique. A very rustic vibe. TL;DR - Don't go out of your way to go to the buffet, but the a la carte items are pretty good and worth checking out if you're not too far away. Definitely a very uniquely decorated restaurant with very nice staff and owner!
