AFS exceeded every expectation I had for my home repair and crawlspace encapsulation. Mike Truelove, Brady Webster and Chris Smith are an incredible crew to work with on our recently purchased home. Our home had a structural issue that was complicated by a water leak that the original homeowner tried to haphazardly fix and then hide from us. Instead of suing we hired AFS on a recommendation that they could repair the home properly. Mike, Brady and Chris could not have been more professional to work with, they were on time, skilled workmen, cleaned up every speck of dirt and most importantly took great care of my home. They wasted no time in completing the repairs, what I thought would take a week they finished in two days. Their singing while working down in the crawlspace was hilarious to me up above working in my office. Let me not forget Joe Kashner, our engineer/consultant who explained what we needed to do to fix the home properly for the long term. No high-pressure sales pitch, he just explained what we needed to repair in simple terms and communicated it to the repair team. There were no surprises during the repair which was a relief and I believe that was in part due to his careful assessment of the situation. The work itself is amazing. The beams they added, the floor they repaired and most impressive is my newly encapsulated crawlspace. It's immaculate. My crawlspace looks as good if not better than any picture of an encapsulated crawl space I've seen in any advertising for any company. Their work is that good and it's worth every penny. AFS may not be the cheapest company for this type of repair but the work they provided us was impeccable and worth the price. He did a very thorough exam of our foundation and gave us an honest answer as to the best way to proceed and alternatives to that primary option. They all three were very polite and professional. Mike explained everything they were doing and answered all of my questions. They worked really hard installing supports and sistering joists as well as putting down a vapor barrier. Mike stayed in the house and made sure things were going back to level while Chris and Brady made adjustments underneath the house. they cleaned up when they were done, and they cleaned up their workspace so well that you couldn't tell they were even there. We also have peace of mind knowing that we have a service plan with them so that if something goes wrong, AFS will be there for us. Definitely check AFS out for all of your foundation needs. My wife and I had our home built in Harrison by the family owned company's son. Doing a complaint check on them for prior homes built, I found nothing outstanding . Things can get covered up we found .After our home was completed with multiple problems , we found our front porch concrete slab rapidly sinking . We called AFS for a estimate ( not wanting to ever deal with the builders son again, ever .) We hired AFS, they injected foam under the slab and lifted to its correct height . Both guys on the job worked hard and did a great job! About a year and a half later, I noticed slight sinkage . AFS corrected the slight issue right away no charge . Since then we had a driveway slab sinking and cracking . All these problems could have been prevented by a experienced reputable builder, but that was my bad . (Hindsight). First off, I'll admit that I was not certain the repair was as critical as it was; and, I thought the estimate was really high and not within our budget.... but, when the inspector patiently and carefully showed us the damage and explained everything to us, I felt we definitely needed to make the repairs. The team that came and performed the work were remarkable! These young guys...John Stepp, Alex Fernandez, and Ivan Goldston were on time, worked steadily through the entire day, finishing up late in the day. They welcomed me being a bit nosey and helped me understand what they were doing at each step of the way. Everything went so smoothly. From the initial call for a quote to have our crawl space encapsulated to the actual installation. Jason Camp, the sales rep was here early and was very thorough. He explained everything clearly and answered all of our questions. The best part was there was absolutely no hard sale. The crew that showed up to do the work was also very professional and on time. We had requested a quote for basement water proofing and when we did the quote included new gutters which was a total surprise due to the low cost. Jeff Stewart and Christian Rudd did an excellent job and are two very hardworking individuals. They stayed well past dark to complete as much work as possible. They walked the house with my husband and explained what would be best for our drainage and worked hard with only one break all day! AFS sent out a team to install The CrawlSeal encapsulation in our crawspace. They removed the exsisting liner and debris and carried it away. Floor was covered with liner and a dehumidifier was installed. They worked quickly and efficiently. We are very pleased with the work that did and how pleasant they were while working on our job considering the rainy and cold weather we were having. This company is the gold standard when it comes to Encapsulation. We've loved absolutely everything about the process and the finished product is amazing. Today Caleb Harwood came out and made a minor adjustment to the dehumidifier. He explained everything so well he showed up when he said they would and completed the job in a very timely manner. While he was here fixing a minor non-system issue. He did another inspection just to make sure everything was in tiptop shape. These people recently did some work for my sister, they did not fix the foundation correctly under the refrigerator. They told her to call back in a few months to give the wood time to settle and they will not answer or call her back. Now she is out the money and they will not make it right. Levi, Clayton, and Bug did an amazing job with the water remediation in our garage. They were professional and kept the job site neat and clean. Since this work was completed in our garage, we had concerns that the concrete patch work would interfere with us being able to epoxy the floor. This crew surprised us with the super job they did the masonry work. AFS came and waterproofed by whole basement about 2 months ago and installed a sump pump in preparation for us finishing it out and making it livable space. I'm very please with their work. The team (Adam, Christian, and John) we're very professional and friendly, they did quality work, and they cleaned up after themselves when they left. We've had a couple heavy rainstorms since then and the basement has stayed dry. Every now and then I hear the sump pump running, but only when I'm right near it, as it is very quiet. read more

AFS did a full encapsulation on our crawlspace & we are very happy with their service. Our crawlspace dehumidifier was not running & displaying a strange code. We called AFS & they sent Christian Byrd, a service tech out the next day. Christian was on time & very knowledgeable about our problem.
