I was charged $55 for the locksmith to disassemble the locking mechanism and extract the lock cylinder. He did not have the necessary hardware to duplicate key so he took the cylinder along with the promise to return with either a new key or complete new cylinder. A few days go by and I get a text stating that he has to order a new cylinder. I asked him how much a new cylinder costs, $80 + $90 labor. This seemed a little high and prompted me to research what Locinox charges for a 46mm replacement cylinder. $6 plus instructions on how to swap out cylinder. Not only that but a brand new, identical lock kit costs $120. NOT TODAY SATAN! NOT TODAY I understand I'm paying for a service but this is price gouging at its finest. I'd hate to see anyone get duped so please heed my cautioning and try a different locksmith.

One of the key fobs is OEM and the other isn't - yet both aren't working as desired. They haven't been used as we had another key, but when we tested we were bummed. 1APR2023 I got a call and he came out to help examine the key fobs after I updated my yelp review. He opened the key fobs and showed me where water must have gotten inside the key fobs. After replacing the batteries on both of the devices they are working perfectly. It was a simple battery issue. He opened the fob and cleaned the inside of the key as well. Top notch!! Really appreciate his dedication to customer
