I highly recommend Mountain High Appliance…read more We originally purchased a high-end dishwasher from one of the big box stores (BBuy), thinking we would save some money. The big box stores now contract out all services, so you don't have any idea who you are getting. The 3rd party service team came out, installed the dishwasher, turned it on & left. After it ran, we discovered the dishwasher door was broken. I called the third party who told me to call the big box store. Big box company said to call the third party, as they had no idea what happened. After multiple calls, I was so frustrated I told the company I wanted to return the product. They come out, de-install it & break one of the water pipes in the process. Now I'm out another $500 for plumbing services to fix what they broke. Mountain High saved the day. I purchased a great product & had a very experienced staff come out & install it. Don't waste your time nor money - just let these guys take care of you.

I was sorely tempted to give MHA a 2-star rating, but I decided not to, mainly based on the…read morepleasant interactions we had with our salesperson, who was nice, and did a good job of following up on our order. BUT, (there's always a but, lol), our recent experience will undoubtedly be our last. We did a complete kitchen remodel a few years ago, got all our appliances from Mountain High, double ovens and a 36-in. gas cooktop. There were issues with that install, but it went more or less OK. The gas cooktop electronics failed about two years into it's life. We had to fight with the extended warranty people to get them to cover it, but after much screaming and gnashing of teeth, the motherboard was replaced. It promptly failed again about a year later. So don't buy Monogram gas stove tops, the electronics are junk. We decided to go back to MHA, settled on a Cafe induction cooktop, and, some time later, were scheduled for installation and haul-away of the old cooktop. We contracted with an electrician, (recommended by our saleslady) to run a 220v line into our house for the cooktop. $1400 for that. $3,825.41 for the cooktop, which included an extended warranty, taxes and a $175 charge for installation, which said, right there in black and white, that that was for a one-time visit, and additional trips would incur an extra charge. More on that in a bit. Finally, installation day came, and guess what? The opening in our granite countertop was EVER SO SLIGHTLY too small. The guys in their installation crew didn't have tools or expertise to widen the opening, and we were told that they DO have people who could do the work, but it would cost SIX-HUNDRED EXTRA. Also, their guys flipped the breakers off on our A/C, and we had no A/C for two days until we figured that out, lol. As noted, we already have a few $$ invested in this. We found a local stone company, Stone Concepts, who came in and did the job for $300. Then we found out that we'd have to pay an additional trip charge of $225 to have their guys come back out, (that was adjusted to $175), which, to be fair, was stated right on our invoice. And I hate to throw the install guys under the bus, but they didn't get here till half an hour AFTER our 2-hr. delivery window. They did get the cooktop installed in about 20 minutes, and no breakers were flipped this time, lol. We feel that Mountain High could have done us a solid, and ate the additional trip charge as a gesture of goodwill and customer solidarity. I know times are tough, but I'm not feeling a lot of love from a company we've done well over $10,000 worth of business with. UPDATE: I spoke with the store manager, Sean, who was very apologetic about our experience, and he explained that usually, they send somebody out to investigate the fitment and the situational aspects of an install/update, but for some reason, that didn't take place in our case. He reversed the trip charge, and did his best to reassure me that they view occurrences like this as teaching opportunities for their team. I want to reiterate that the people we dealt with were as nice as could be, one thing Mountain High can hold their heads up high on, (so to speak, lol.) is their people. UPDATE on the UPDATE: We paid the extra trip charge with a bank card, but the refund was applied to our Wells-Fargo financing. We contacted them and asked them to apply the refund to the bank card we paid with, but that hasn't happened, and we haven't heard back from anyone who was involved. So, while it's nice that they "refunded" the trip charge, it's too bad we couldn't get it put back on our payment method. Just another glitch in the Matrix, I guess.

We have been spun in circles on both the California shutters and our wireless access points. We are on our third no-show today - 2.5 years later. Also, they have complete control of our routers (they installed access points throughout the house) to the point of requiring a service call to change the passwords. I knew absolutely NOTHING about rocks before deciding to change up some landscaping in my yard…read more Flagstone? Pavers? Different types of gravel? It's all just ROCK to me! So when I was told to go "pick out my rock," I thought, how hard could that possibly be? Well, apparently, picking out rocks is an ADVENTURE! They have a nice display area up front showcasing different types of smaller stones, pavers, and landscaping materials. Great if you're trying to figure out what you want. But I was looking for flagstone, which meant heading out into their actual yard. First off, WATCH OUT FOR THE TRUCKS! You've got semis and construction vehicles moving around, it felt like a game a frogger and I was the unfortunate frog. The flagstone I was looking for was spread out across different areas of the property, so I ended up trekking around trying to find the exact stone I wanted. And did I mention it was MUDDY?! Nothing like a little obstacle course just to pick out some landscaping rocks! But the REAL adventure started with the deliveries. First delivery? Wrong location. Second delivery? Wrong rock. Thankfully, the third time was the charm! On the positive side, their prices were reasonable, they had a good selection of landscaping materials and the manager was really nice trying to sort the mishaps up. My advice? DOUBLE-CHECK EVERYTHING. Make sure your receipt lists the correct materials, confirm your delivery address (ship to! not bill to!), and maybe even give them a call the morning of your scheduled delivery just to make sure everyone's on the same truck, er, page.
