They handled all the unexpected surprises that come with a home built in 1890 with grace and incredible skill. Tamir and BAB Construction just finished the job and far exceeded our wildest expectations. I've never worked with a company that showed greater care for my home than I do. Tamir went above and beyond anything we ever agreed to. He took the initiative to do extra work on his own because he knew it was the right thing to do and it ended up dialing in our house, on even the simplest of details . It is clear that Tamir is chasing perfection in his work. To be honest, I've never witnessed a company that worked as hard as BAB Construction. They put in long days and tremendous effort. The crew were very respectful and showed tons of respect for our home. Bottom is that our house looks incredible. Best it ever has. It appears Ken Ngo used BAB Construction as his own, selling the project to us under BAB Construction's umbrella. We were not aware of this deceit and Ken failed to finish the job, not sealing everything so that water would not soak into the remodel causing a massive failure. Tamir has agreed to correct the problem to our satisfaction. Tamir is an honorable man who prides himself on his work and has gone above and beyond to correct the issue.

He came prepared with lots of information and documentation at our initial meeting. He was very quick to respond and he had an idea for the layout that no one else had thought of. Once things got rolling our project manager was Chuck and I can't speak highly enough of him. He and his team were very professional and everything was completed to our expectations and in some cases beyond. Chuck did a great job of always checking to make sure things were done the right way and if he thought it wasn't good enough he made sure it got done to his standards. He is without a doubt the best contractor I've ever worked with. As far as budget and timeline goes the only things that went over budget were things that we decided to change or upgrade. The timeline also went as expected. Before they even started they gave us an estimate but also told to expect some delays. We expected it to be done by the end of the summer and it was. I would most definitely recommend Empirical Construction for any project and if we need any work done in the future I'll be giving them a call.

Shortly after, I received a response from the business advising me that they did not currently have the capacity for our project. Understanding the circumstance, but also willing to wait for the right team, I responded and asked the business to let me know if that changed in the future, as we have several projects in our home and are hoping to bring the same team aboard for all of them. I then received the attached response offering a completely different explanation than before. Rather than acting with integrity, the business elected to tell a lie, as the project was likely not lucrative enough for them. I made no reference to my budget, but the business assumed I would not be interested in paying their prices. I would like to offer a two-star rating, though, as the communication was quite prompt.
