We've been customers of Sunrise Pool for over a decade. It was a small business when we first hired…read morethem. The service was exceptional and the owner was a gem. I referred many people to them. Once the owner retired and sold the business to one of his employees, the business grew by leaps and bounds. I always thought we had a good report. I asked about his family, how the homeschooling was going, shared our chicken eggs and pears with him. Last week his employees did a subpar job. I tried to catch them before they drove off without success. I called the owner over and over to see if he could get them to come back before they got too far away. He never answered. He did overreact and canceled and cancelled our service because I attempted to reach him too many times by phone. The company was great before Shane bought it. Now he's too big for his britches.

In Early April 2018, my husband and I got a bid for our pool from Clearwater Oasis. Clearwater told…read moreus we could do a lot of the prep ourselves to save money so we went with them. They delivered the "pool concrete" to resurface the inside of the pool saying we could pay for what we used. Jim and Reid came out and did a lot of measurements. By the end of April my husband had all the prep work done besides sanding and had rebuilt the steps to the specifications and suggestions Jim and Reid had given him. We picked out a liner and were anxious to get it ordered. By May, my husband and I had both called multiple times to get an update. No word. No phone calls returned. My husband even went into the office multiple times but no one knew anything. Finally, after over 2 weeks, Reid calls us back saying he's sorry and that he's really busy. It's now mid May. He says he has another set of measurements to do before he can order the liner. Another week goes by. No word. We know this is a busy season for pools- we just wanted to know we weren't being blown off. I get a hold of Tina in the front office June 1 and she has no updates for us. When I get a hold of her today she says that Jim has decided not to move forward with our bid because the steps weren't done to their specifications and the "pool concrete" has not been sanded. They are sending us a bill for the "pool concrete" and that's it. My husband couldn't sand the concrete yet because it had rained, but was planning to. After all, it had been WEEKS since hearing about progress on our project. The steps had been built with Jim and Reid's direct input (in person meeting). I have worked in customer service, both retail and food service for years. After Tina hung up on me today I thought I'd write this review.
