I found Affordable Mobile Mechanic through Yelp and he was reliable, efficient, and reasonably priced. I had a dead battery, thankfully at home. I called James and he said to text him my address and he'd be over after his current job. About three hours later he made it over. He communicated ETA updates during that time. James was confident in being able to jump the car even after the box didn't work. He just rolled the car from the garage to the road and jumped it with his car. I was planning to have him jump it so I could drive to the dealership, but his offer to replace the battery was much more convenient. So he followed me to Auto Zone where I bought a new one and he replaced it in their parking lot. I usually only go to the dealership, but this was so much faster. He only charged me the $95 service call and it took him less than 30 minutes to have the car fixed. Be prepared to pay cash. Called this number, got hooked up with a guy by the name of James. Got us scheduled right away. He took care of half the job and promised he'd be back the next day. Which is fine it was dark so whatever, handle how you handle. Honestly, probably shouldn't have paid him before the finished job, but you feel for these guys when they're in the heat. He also seemed to be pretty genuine, last time I ever assume any of that. Waited for his call all day the next day or even a text, just to let us know what's going on or if he had to have the appointment moved, and nothing. Like at all. Calls going straight to voicemail, I left 3 messages and sent texts just to reconfirm. Nothing. This is not the way you handle business. 0 stars if I could, this company is fraudulent. I knew I should've been concerned when you say you take credit cards, and had me go run and grab you cash. Not a receipt was given or anything, I either want my money back, a finished job, or a lawsuit is going to entail. read more

If you are looking for a good mechanic this is where you stop looking. I called James and explained my problem. My son's car had two broken hard brake lines going to the rear of the car. Told him it was a 98 Lexus and could he get it done. He said sure and came by later that day. He removed the damaged parts, told me exactly what to buy, and came back a couple days later to finish the job. Total work time 3 1/2 hours. The car is running now. My son couldn't be happier. Just saving on the tow makes it worth the call for him to come out, not to mention that it's hard to find parts for an older car. Give him a call you won't regret it. Called to setup an appointment. Spoke with James, setup an appointment. He called at the last minute and said he was on an emergency road side call, and asked to reschedule, which I agreed to. After some back and forth, we setup another appointment. As the time drew near, he called and informed me that it would have to be days later than we agreed as he had to taken a temporary job due to the Covid situation. We setup another appointment, where he said he would call me to verify. I never heard from him again. Bad business practices nullifies any skill this provider may have. read more

Needed brakes put on my car, I had the parts and then called James. He gave me a very reasonable quote for the job asked for the address and said he would be over when he finished his current job , he then texted me when he was on the way over ( Which was within an hour). He came by and started the job and we figured out that auto zone gave me the wrong pads. James waited around while I got the right parts then finished the job and we took a test drive. All in all I can say It was a very good experience and he was very professional and being a Rideshare driver who puts many many miles and wear on the car I definitely will be using his services again. DO NOT USE! Fraudulent company!!!! agreed to come help with our Honda. Showed up hours late day 1 saying he was "caught up with another service". Showed up late, fine. Started the work, took everything apart, got late so said he'd be back to finish up next day. Next day, no call, no show, voice went straight to voice mail.
