Chris was fantastic to work with. He listened to exactly what we wanted, delivered everything he promised, and gave us a great price. The entire process was seamless--from the initial quote and permitting to the installation. Their team handled all of the permitting for us, kept us informed every step of the way, and communicated exceptionally well throughout the project. What impressed us most was how efficiently everything was completed. Our entire project was finished in just one week, and the quality of the work is outstanding. If you're looking for a company that is professional, honest, organized, and delivers exceptional results, I highly recommend Fence & Deck Connection. We had an amazing experience and would absolutely use them again!

I was concerned that the concrete would not set correctly but the guy assured me that everything would be fine. That there is a 1 year warranty. We'll now a part of my fence is leaning outward. I need it fixed ASAP. I can not get anyone to respond to me. I spent a lot of money on this fence and I need it to last. Im extremely upset with their lack of response to my calls and emails.

We had our fence around the pool removed and replaced by Winkler Fence and Deck and they did a…read moregreat job. They were the lowest cost, but still competitive, and went the extra mile to hand dig every fence post so as not to hit any buried electrical lines. Additionally, they are family-owned and local, which is important to me because I want to always refer my neighbor's business over big conglomerates. Call John and his family and get the job done right!

We contracted Winkler Deck and Fence to replace 4 gates and perform minor repairs on our existing…read morefence after receiving a referral. The initial engagement with the owner Curt was pleasant, the quote we received was reasonable, and the job started 8 weeks after we signed the contract. Unfortunately, that's where the good ended... On the day of the job, the crew didn't let us know they were onsite, which wasn't a good start. Then after the work was completed they left without notifying us that the job was done nor doing a walkthrough with us. The next day we looked over the work and noticed that two of the installed gates were not level and were substantially tilted to one side. We contacted their office manager, Tammy, who stated that the owner Curt would stop by the following day to review the issues. Curt was a no-show and after following up with Tammy she stated he would stop by the next day instead. He was again a no-show. We once again followed up and asked for a specific day and time that they would come out so that we didn't have to miss work again and never received a response... The following weekend Curt finally showed up unannounced and without notice and never apologized for the no-shows. He then immediately asked in a defensive tone "What's your problem with the gates?". We explained the issue and he tried to blame it on the previous fence builder. We stated that the previous gates were level and installed correctly and he replied "Well then what do you expect, this was a repair job". Uh ok... I expect properly built and installed gates, per our contract. He finally agreed that one of the gates should be rebuilt after initially denying it had issues and said he would try to reposition the other gate to reduce the slant, but he clearly was not happy about doing the work. Also, after providing feedback on the crew's disappearing act he stated "We have bigger jobs than this that are more important". When I stated I couldn't recommend them to others due to their lack of customer service, he walked off and barked "We have plenty of other work in this area so I'm not worried about it". Wow... A simple apology would have gone a long way... Ultimately they did fix the gates and followed up to see if we were satisfied. However, based on our overall experience I would not recommend this company due to their lack of basic customer service, lack of basic respect for their customers, and shoddy workmanship. Also, they clearly don't value smaller jobs, which is a bad move on their part because they lost future business with me as well as my neighbors who asked about my experience.

This was our 2nd time using Creative Deck. This review is for customer awareness. We contacted the…read morecompany and discussed these matters with them before posting this. #1 - Although we are the property/homeowner, you do not have to be home during install. We are nervous homeowners. We took off work to be there. Unlike other construction we have used, Creative has only ONE crew that installs. That weight is on the ONE foreman who will have to take off work unexpectedly. No one showed. #2 - Calls the day of. We were called the morning of and asked "Can they come today?" We felt this "same day" scheduling was very erratic, compared to what we experienced with this company before. #3 - Customers - mark your wires and inform your adjuster. Your buried internet and automower wires are not marked by the Utility company. Inform your adjuster so he/she can help you get these marked. The 3-star rating was a 1-star. The company took time to speak with us about the issues, so we are showing some teamwork. Gary has been there for decades and knows his stuff. The management here - doesn't have time for conversation or empathy. They will throw the paper work back in at you, and you can see that response in their comments to reviews here. Sometime everything legal isn't moral/correct. We aren't sure we will use them again. It just seems sloppy and unorganized for our type of property ownership. I'm sure it would work great for other types of homeowners.

I would highly recommend against using this company…read more I was given a reasonable quote from them for a new fence for my yard, so that my dog can play without getting out. I decided to go ahead and signed a contract and scheduled the work. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time, however this is about all that went well. The fence was installed very sloppily with several issues. I immediately tried to resolve these issues with creative deck design, however they argued and refused to do anything. They will not stand by their work at all, and will instead insist that it was the best that they can do. Eventually the issues were resolved with my fence, after several months repeatedly asking them to resolve the issues. However I can't give any better review because these issues should have never been there in the first place. Additionally when if issues did arise, they should have been addressed rather than trying to avoid fixing it. For anyone else considering this company, please read the reviews and pay attention to the bad reviews. There is a common theme amongst all of them, these aren't just bad reviews from people not getting their way. I've also put two pictures of their workmanship up, it will speak for itself.

I chose Long Fence to instal a new iron gate and a few feet of fencing either side to close off my…read morefront driveway. The custom measured powder coat gate is motorized. The quote was very expensive but I went with it because of the brand name and the thought that the instal would be high end with full electronic features for opening, closing and operation from within the house. Was I wrong..... What I got was a very basic, and I mean basic system, no light even for the touch pad. The iron started to rust before the installation was even complete. While some of the misunderstanding as to what electronic controls I was to get may have been on me, the whole thing was poorly executed with the gate dragged on the driveway interfering with opeining and closing. The sub contract electrician did a great job cutting the iron from the gate to clear drive way and installing the electronics, however the standard of the gate/fence instal was poor. I am now rubbing down the areas of rust at every welded joint etc myself and priming/top coating the many rust spots after spending high end money (and I mean high) for a low grade job. Oh and also installing a light over the touch pad so people can see the code they are punching in.... Save yourself the grief, do not buy from Long Fence
