We met the owners. They were a very delightful couple and complimented them on their business. They were serving wine and a tasty morsel, which was a nice touch. It's nice to see that Salem has something unique and you don't have to drive to Portland to find it. I'm not a real collector of antiques, but I must say I thoroughly enjoyed my perusing, the unique collectibles and antiques. You can even find collectible clothes in several of the areas. We were generally disappointed, as…read moremany single-store locations in the area had furniture that wouldn't work style wise or that was economical but of lackluster quality. Then, my wife found Dovetails, and the whole picture changed (Hooray!) Jerame helped us locate pieces we were looking for and fabrics, too. We were impressed with the quality of the floor pieces, and the prices were fair for the style and quality received. They delivered the furniture promptly and efficiently, too. And, for the one to three years that we've had them, they're doing great! We recommend checking this store out if you're looking for nice home furnishings!

I discussed in detail the changes I wanted in my reupholstered sofa with the actual staff who would be doing the work, such as removal of the buttons and welt, the type of stitching, and added padding. Shortly after moving to Salem my mom decided to purchase a small couch with a short window of time…read morebefore family was coming to visit. We stopped at all of the furniture stores in the area including Woodry's, but the other stores had a delivery time that was 6-8 weeks out. Also, they were like vultures and their furniture was overpriced. About a week or so after she bought her couch, my husband and I also decided to purchase a new couch and we also went to Woodry's. They let us bring a fabric sample home, and by the time we walked in the door at home we had already decided to return to the store the next day to purchase the sectional couch. I called the store and asked about delivery windows since my own time window before family was coming to visit was getting smaller. By the time we returned to the store the next day to make the purchase, they had already spoke with both of their delivery companies on time windows for us. We decided that they were the best option based on a few things: 1. The staff was friendly and not pushy. They didn't act like used car salesmen, they let us look around casually. 2. You can buy the furniture that they currently have in stock or order it if you have the time to wait, which we didn't. 3. The furniture is built in Oregon and has a policy that if the cushions start to soften that they'll re-stuff them for you. Both my mom and I had great experiences with Woodry's and the companies they use for delivery. We both received our furniture within five days of paying. We are both very happy with our purchases and feel confident that we made the right decision. We both recommended Woodry's.
