Hired him to pull electrical service to my shop. I provided a trench and a spool of cable which was available when he wrote the bid. He complained the whole time he was working that the cable was too thick to easily get through the conduit that he supplied. He could have used any size conduit he wanted. I accepted his original bid. Two years later I find that he faked the conduit. Put a couple of pieces in but didn't connect the entire run, hiding the gaps under piles of dirt. Also forgot to clamp the ground wire to the ground rod and left one neutral un-connected inside the panel. And, finally ripped my vapor barrier with his ladder.
