A friend recommended Gabe who had done jobs for her and she was very happy with him. I called and he came the next day and fixed the Jerry-rigged leaking mess under the kitchen sink and showed me what had been done that caused the problems. The bill was very reasonable, he was great to work with. One of the things he stressed was that he stands behind his work and if I were unhappy with anything all I just need to let him know. After that I gave him a list of all the other problems that needed fixing All got done within a very reasonable amount of time. I'm super picky so there were a couple of minor things I had him come back for but they were taken care of quickly. He has also done a few non plumbing projects for me that I am very happy with!

Gabe argues that the renters were not home but they were not home for the second company either. Gold Seal said there is no way they ran the snake upstream. Gabe cussed at me and said he was going to file a lien when I told him I wouldn't pay for a job not done. His price was twice the price of Gold Seal - fyi. I had used him several other times on rentals - so that wasn't the issue. He advertises "AFFORDABLE & FRIENDLY SERVICES".

They failed to provide any confirmation or follow-up with me and even took the liberty of changing their appointment times without consulting me, claiming it was not their responsibility to inform. I called this company on May 22nd at 2 p.m. to confirm my appointment, as American Home Service was showing me a different time window for the scheduled service. However, obviously, 2 p.m. must be considered "night time" to these guys. I strongly advise against recommending this company to anyone. In my opinion, they are quite possibly the worst plumbing company I have ever encountered. The guy with whom I spoke on the phone was extremely rude, verbally aggressive, and inappropriate. Once I told him that I would like to do my business with them, he said, "Yeah, you would not have been satisfied by us anyway." He never offered to reschedule, and there was no apology. He's just insanely rude. Also, they falsely accused us of not being at home, which was not the case. They had my phone number, and they definitely should have called me. However, no phone call was made to me about this scheduled appointment. You guys did NOT ring the doorbell for 20 minutes. What a joke. You left the house 5 minutes after your arrival, and it was recorded by my security camera. You need to stop making a false statement and be honest for God's sake. Instead of making excuses over and over again, it would have been more appropriate for this guy to offer me a sincere apology. If this job does not work out for you, you may want to consider closing down your business or finding something else. You should be ashamed of yourself and need to work on your attitude. What a trash company.

The other review I gave Glenrose 5 stars, excellent service, excellent price. Thought I had found a new plumbing company to use for future work as well. And I cannot take away from that experience. HOWEVER, several weeks later I call and they come out but a different plumber than the first work done. He quotes me $707 for what should be just a Moen shower faucet cartridge and labor to install. He said entire shower assembly needed to be replaced along with the trim kit in the shower. And his quote included $56 for going into crawl space to turn water off and on again! I called the mgmt/owner and was told she would look at the quote and get back to me the next day via email. She did and basically said "it is what it is", and that this project "...may not be a good fit". What in the world does "this project may not be a good fit" mean? That certainly doesn't exude confidence in the company your trying to do business with. After telling them they lost this business and any future business, I called another company and had the work performed for $165. You do the math and decide who you want to do business with.
