In 2017 my dentures broke, in philly, I went to an excellent dentist and she did a very nice job, but they broke! I am here in Myrtle Beach and when they broke I had to find a dentist for new dentures immediately. Well I called affordable dentures they were very empathetic and understanding..... thank you Kim.... got me in immediately that day and by 3 I had a whole new set of dentures . I paid 1/2 the price of what I did in philly and the dentist at AD was precise with the fit..... well last night I was cleaning my bottom denture and boom it broke in half. Well I panicked, thinking omg I will not be able to get this fixed for quite awhile..... wrong. I called 8 o'clock this morning and they squeezed me in at 9 and was repaired by 10:30..... the dentist suggested I get a back up pair..... at the prices they charge I can do that. I could never thank the dentist for such a beautiful job and for having a fantastic staff that really takes each client into consideration. I originally lost my permanent teeth to chemo. I might be vain because I must have a nice smile! And the dentist at affordable dentures made that possible. Just because you are expensive does not mean you are the best. I was told in email they will not refund for broken dentures I went and read other complaints about affordable dentures and implants. They have taken so much money from the patients. They suck you right in and when the product doesn't fit you are out of thousands. And they will not refund your money. I think all of the affordable dentures and implants need to be investigated..just like the dental assistant that took over 600,000 in a couple of months. If they are going after her.. they need to go after affordable dentures and implants. They have taken millions away from their patients. I'm not just talking about the one in Myrtle Beach..it's all locations. Go pull up reviews for affordable dentures and implants see for your self. I will not let this die down. I don't have the money to get more dentures. Affordable dentures have my 5300.00 now I'm sitting at home cause I don't go out much in public I don't have any top teeth. I had to turn dentures in to start the refund process. Which I was told I will not get refund on the broken dentures. I've reached out to my lawyer...will be making a case cause on top of all of this I was Victim of the scandal that took place at this office. Best of luck people.. Have been going here since 2012 for work on my teeth, have full and partial dentures. Last went in here for extractions and dentures in 2024. They have my records, I am not a new patient, called today for an extraction appointment, receptionist said I needed a consultation first, I said combine that with the extraction, she said that is not the way we work. They keep sending me emails about how they want my business but they do not sound very customer oriented. read more

As a veteran with PTSD I would NOT recommend this business. My first visit I explained things to the general manager (Dominica) and the dentist (Dr.Bill), such that my PTSD may seem like i'm irritated or have a short fuse. The visit after having my teeth pulled on the bottom and a temp. denture put in, . I had questions about the temporary denture, was only seeing a Tech, who answered most but then the GM piped in where I don't think she should have , Was disagreeing with me and the Tech as to when I can get the soft liner. We had a little discussion and she left, I asked to speak to the dentist and confirm my concerns. We agreed shook hands and left. While leaving the Tech was walking away and I reached out and touched her arm and ,said " I hope I wasn't to hard on ya." The GM said she noted , that I touched the Tech inappropriately, and that she was dismissing me as a client. All this while making my next appointment. What a joke...went today to get adjustment on upper denture, they told me I was done with visits? My last appt. is suppose to be in May! I had to wait 7 weeks to get in for them to see me. Which is totally ridiculous when you have new upper & lower dentures. The technician put some powder on my denture & popped it in. She said your all set! Well I could offer done that myself. Crazy this office went without Dentist for atleast 3 months during the year I was there. And the receptionist is being charged with embezzlement! She stole people's money that were paying for treatment! he General Manager of this Business Damica if that's even her name is the rudest general manager and human I've ever had to deal with in my life I called about a very concerning matter which this business sent me a bill for services never received when I called to speak with a manger I was told she was busy then when she called back I simply requested some type of paperwork saying that the bill sent was in error instead of writing up something or printing out some paperwork that I know is readily available instead she said no and asking the same questions in different ways isn't going to get me the answer I want, when clearly I don't understand why they cannot print out a paper for the error when they've printed out several bills to send in error. I truly wish I had not had my oral surgery done at this location, as I am now stuck dealing with them until I get my dentures finished seeing as I already paid. I had a bad experience with affordable dentures in Ohio but thought being in a different state would be different, and it was.... until it wasn't. I went to a dental surgeon to take my bottom teeth out b/c they were broken and decayed then went to Affordable Dentures for my partial. I paid for the new package and received my temp partial until my mouth was completely healed. But during that time the partial was causing pain in my two molars so I decided to just them removed and get a full bottom denture. When I called to make my appt I was told that they only give Valium as a sedative and would cost me 200.00!! I told them I have insurance and could get that at no cost if they would call it in to the pharmac. They said no, they couldn't do that. So then I said well I'll go and get them removed and just come for my denture, they said no.. if I don't have the text extracted there they can't do my denture!! Are you KIDDING ME!! Horrible Dentist, I've never been treated so badly. Left the office in tears. I wouldn't take my dog to this horrible, unprofessional, nasty person. He wanted to pull teeth I had nothing wrong with. When I mentioned I had dental anxiety, he said he wouldn't pull my teeth at all and I would be going to an oral surgeon. He hit my teeth soo hard with a metal instrument they hurt for hours. The assistant said he was sorry and he just worked there. The office was fine, but this man is nasty and mean. I can't believe I had to pay to be treated this way. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! This business closes from 12-2. Reopens 2-5. I arrived at 4:15 - door locked. An employee came out and opened door. Said they were closed because "no patients and doctor leaves if there no patients. I expressed surprise and she gave a curt reply as if I was a moron for being surprised. She said I could "take it up with the doctor" if I had a problem. As I turned to walk away she made some comment under her breath and then locked the door. Grateful to have seen the true colors of this business before I received any treatment. I was not treated in the manner I was expected. I had no problem until they needed the impression of my upper teeth. One person tried several times but failed then another Lady came in and everything went smooth. It was done in no time. After all of that, I left without an appointment, called one time and was told my denture was in, then lost! I called every day and left messages after messages no return call for weeks! I am now wearing a denture that is so big & tight Im dealing with sores on the sides of my mouth. The bill is high & I will fight it. NO WAY to treat a patient!!! I would give this place a zero stars if I could I've never in my life been treated so badly as I was with this dentist he is the biggest Jerk and the rudest dentist I have ever encountered in my life I needed partials for up at the top and needed some down at the bottom and he had the gall to tell me to pull out healthy teeth when I didn't need it he told me to get implants he was trying to extort money out of me even after I told him I had a severe medical problem and that getting implants was not an option for me. He wouldn't explaining nothing his assistant was absolutely great!! All I needed was some new teeth and he refused to help me and this is by far over with!!!!!! I will be filing a complaint with the dental review board . I can't believe it the Dentist had the gall to tell me to pull out healthy teeth just because he didn't want to give me partials that's what they do this is what they specialize in so if you value your time and you value to have a good doctor he definitely doesn't have it . I am so Upset that this Dentist can treat people this way and get away with it. again this is not over with I will be filing a complaint with the dental review board over this matter. this place needs to be out of business I can't believe he still operating a practice and him telling me he's the one with a license it doesn't take a rocket scientist to be a dentist. I would give this place a zero stars but that is not possible. This is the worst dental company and dentist in Myrtle Beach that has ever existed. I went here for a new denture. I have had a denture for over thirty years and am no stranger to the procedure. When I told them that the denture did not fit correctly the doctor refunded my money for the denture and basically barred me from doing any business with them although I did not understand that at the time. I recently went back to this company to have a repair done after all it is what they do. I made an appointment and arrived at the proper time (three days later) but was told that the business (dentist) would not do any business with me. I guess his Hippocratic oath was to his wallet not his patients. If you go here don't pay them anything until you are done and satisfied with their service which is a take it or leave it proposition. ( No discussions). Personally my recommendations would be to go to Aspen Dental as they are a true dentist office not a cash machine that uses your wallet to fill their coffers.
