A week after a 6 mo check-up in FL, I cracked a molar. Searched for a local practice to help so I wouldn't have to drive 12 hrs to FL dentist. Called a few and when the receptionist at Market Common Dentistry answered the phone, I knew it was the practice I was looking for. It's not a drive through dentist like so many out there. The dentists, dental assistants, and hygienists are some of the best that I have ever visited. They treat you like a friend, not a nameless customer. I feel super comfortable there. The team is thorough. They don't push you through to get another customer in the chair. Couldn't ask for better care. Thank you.

They continued to ask me throughout the process how I was doing and if I had any pain. I truly appreciated that. Then today I had my first filling with Dr Maser. He heard my concerns about feeling everything while he filled my cavity. I never felt anything. His dental assistant made sure to keep checking to see how I was doing and well as Dr Maser. It was so refreshing to not feel any pain and my teeth look beautiful I could just cry. If you are contemplating coming here just do it. Dr Maser and his staff are amazing human beings. I have seen other people post that in reviews. The biggest weakness I see in this practice is inconsistent with care. I went every 6 months for dental cleanings and yearly x-rays. Dr. Shapiro doesn't come in and do an exam on you every 6 months. That was my first red flag! My old dental practice in Mt. Pleasant the young dentist examined you every 6 months. Then I decided to do InVisaligns with them, BIG MISTAKE!!!!!! You have to change your trays out according to your treatment plan. I remember I gave them a big down and took 2 months to get me started. I went in to get my trays changed and Dr. Shapiro hadn't ordered them. The ones I had were cracking and worn down, what good was that doing me? Then they switched dental assistants on me because the other one quit. This girl wasn't half as good as the other. @ one cleaning that Dr. Shapiro didn't check my teeth on a six month check-up. The hygienist told me my tooth was cracked, so she called him in there. He told me I needed 2 crowns, lo and behold my old dentist said " I only needed one." I had a friend that went there, she was supposed to get 2 and ended up with 3. I wanted out of the practice so bad, but once U do Invisalign's with a dentist, they hold the treatment plan. The last straw for was when I had a 10:30 am appointment, I got there @ 10:15 and watched everyone go on. The front desk told me I had to wait because the back was full and they had an unannounced inspector there. The medical assistant tried to get me to sign a treatment plan and I refused. I am in the medical field and don't sign anything unless read. The icing on the cake when I didn't get to go in for appointment when the inspector was there. I told them I needed to pick up trays. I was brought trays for the bottom half of of my teeth and was never told that I need to keep wearing the top, so when I went back my teeth had moved from instruction the was never given to me. I was @ the end of my Invisaligns when this happened. When I went for the next appointment, I had a sharp dental hygienist and she told I should have been wearing the tray for my uppers from the last week. I schedule d to get the attachments off and get trays after that and have moved on. I found another dental practice I am very happy with. NO CONTINUITY OF CARE @ THIS PLACE. AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE. Whomever answers this the management, U should take heed to your continuity of care because it fails horribly. I have been in the medical field for 45 years and your dentistry is nothing but a FACTORY!!!!!!!

Since that time, my son told me that he was very impressed with the dentist and how at ease he felt in his care. I think it was Dr. Cleary. Well my son went on and on about how much he liked the dentist. I felt great for taking him there. Recently, my husband began to have dental pain. He was anxious about going and what kind of care he would receive. I suggested we stop by the office and talk to them. The lovely receptionist said, "we have an opening at 3 PM today", and we took it. She then handed my husband forms to fill out, so he would be ready upon his return. My husband was leery about trying this dentist, as he never needed medical care here. I said, "You still have time to cancel if you wish". He didn't, and went to the appointment. He saw Dr. Goldberg, and when he came out, he was so impressed with the dentist and the care he was provided, he went on and on about it. I have not yet been to this office, but have taken my family members and paid the bills. Their prices are reasonable for their services provided. When I returned, my entire family came down with COVID, which delayed me from going through my mail. As soon as I reviewed it, I immediately called and paid the balance on May 1. Despite that, I received a letter from the billing office claiming no payment had been made and stating I would now be required to pay in full at the time of service. The tone was unnecessarily harsh and accusatory, especially given my consistent history of paying my balances over the past three years. Including a policy as if I were unaware or negligent felt condescending and completely disregarded the reality that sometimes life happens. There was no attempt at understanding--just a blanket, impersonal response. It's unfortunate because the quality of care from the doctor is not reflected in how patients are treated on the administrative side. In the end, the billing office's approach was enough for me to take my care elsewhere. If you choose to go here, be aware: the medical care may be great, but the billing experience can leave a very different impression.

Yesterday, 70 years old now I went to have some bad teeth extracted in his professional attitude is outstanding. Before the surgery he came in and we talked and he asked if it would be okay if he prayed for us and the surgery to go well. I agree and I've never had another doctor do that. He did ask first and prayed for the surgery to go great and the healing enough to just be great in life. When he said amen I said amen also. The most positive experience in a dental office I've ever had. I am on my second day after having five extraction and I do not have any pain and no pain medicine was prescribed. Just ibuprofen. Anyone scared of dental work like I was he is outstanding!
