Given all of the positive reviews, especially ones that mentioned good communication, I opted to call on 1/27/21 to have a crack in the ceiling drywall repaired. I called in the late afternoon, well before the posted office hours but received no follow-up call. I figured that business must be good and they missed my message so I called again this morning. And again, no follow-up call. I can't comment on the quality of the work but I can say with almost absolute certainty; if you're expecting a return call from Affinity Drywall, it will likely not happen. Very professional company. Being a general contractor myself finding people to work on my own house isn't easy. I called Adam to bid on texturing a soffit and arch I'm doing on a remodel. He showed up on time looked everything over and came back with a very reasonable bid. Once starting the job was here everday stayed in communication with me. After preparing my moms home for painting fixing cracks wall papered walls into texture. I called Affinity Drywall to tape and cover everything windows cabinets tile ect they took about 4 1/2 to 5 hrs in a 1100 sq ft one bath 3 bedroom house on Sunday after we got out of church and lunch they were very efficient much faster than I could do it..I will paint with an airless sprayer ....Hate painting hate preparing even more so it was nice to have this done good and polite man and his helper as well.. We recently purchased a house in the Clovis area. We had about 1400 square feet of popcorn ceiling. My husband and I wanted to get rid of the popcorn ceiling as soon as possible. It was a pleasure doing business with Adam and his crew. I looked up drywall companies via Yelp and gave him a call to get a quote for a water damaged ceiling that had collapsed leaving a 5'x4' hole to the attic. I sent him pictures of the damage and he got back to me fairly quickly with his estimate. His price point was very fair so I went ahead and scheduled an appointment. He came and explained in detail what exactly they were going to do (replace drywall + insulation + remove popcorn + skim + texture). I was thoroughly impressed with their prep job, the walls and floor were taped off and covered. Seeing how well of a job he was doing on the ceiling I asked him about retexturing the main bathroom and master bathroom, which needed repair from where the built in toilet roll holders used to be. Again he quoted me a fair price and I set up another appointment with him to have that taken care of as well. Overall his workmanship and professionalism was exceptional. I would give Adam 10 stars if I could... He was fantastic. I had a project we needed done at my parents house (approx. 4 hours from me) and after having Adam referred, I called him and we set up the job. I was only able to send him pictures of what I needed done and he gave me an initial estimate based on the pictures I provided. I was delighted when he gave me his estimate because it was a very fair price to begin with. This particular type of job is typically the most difficult because I called upon him to finish a project that my father had started almost 20 years prior and had been left untouched since then. On the day work was scheduled to start, he showed up exactly when he said he would and called me. After discussing our options, we found out this was going to be a more difficult job than either of us anticipated. We agreed to move forward and I told him to do the best he could with what he was left to work with. To make a long story short. Adam took what turned out to be a very difficult job and handled it with professionalism and perfection. The finished product turned out AMAZING. It took much longer than what we originally thought it would because of the scope of this project but he took it in stride and finished everything perfectly. When it was all said and done, and after spending several additional hours repairing my fathers craftsmanship, the finished product was amazing and the price was beyond fair... I tried to offer him more money because of all of the additional work he had to put in to make it look so good and he politely declined... Adam is the definition of a true professional. He is ethical, moral and is very good at what he does. I will definitely be using him again for our other projects and referring him to anybody that needs drywall work done. read more
