After 20 years, I have had enough with this practice. My doctor, who just this month retired, suggested a biopsy on my toe after observing a blue line for a few weeks. The office was supposed to schedule the appointment and call me within a few days. Two and 1/2 weeks later . Still no phone call. 2 calls to the office and no phone call. Finally got through to someone who said my case was not discussed between the offices for over 2 weeks. Now the chief surgeon was on vacation for another week. Unacceptable. Normal appointments for yearly skin scans have to be made almost a year in advance. I have had enough. My advice, find a different practice. read more

I spent more time filling out my paperwork than actually being seen. The minute I entered the office, it was obvious I had picked the wrong place. I didn't want any form of "beautification" they were selling. The office staff were nice. And Tina, the RN, was pleasant, but she barely looked at my dark spot, waved me off that it wasn't a melanoma, and then gave me two potential diagnosis so fast I nearly got whiplash. She held some small light to the spot and just shook her head and half laughed that it wasn't anything major. Honestly, I was in and out so fast I never even had time to process what had happened. She told me to use sunblock... had she looked at my chart for even a second she'd of known I do. All the time. Since I get hives from the sun. So I use mineral only. Wish the wonderful dermatologist I saw for that was still in network. Affiliated Dermatology was not it. They're likely great if you want beauty enhancements. But not if you are actually concerned about your skin and your family's long history of melanoma. read more

I went in with a tiny little cyst that I was hoping they could just remove via excision. I was given a steroid injection without an explanation of the possible risk of hypopigmentation or atrophy because and I quote, "I don't want you to have a dark mark". A couple weeks later, I'm left with a larger white spot (I'm dark skinned) and atrophy. I made a follow up appointment for this concern, and I was easily dismissed. read more

This may be the worst medical practice I have ever been to. I came in with suspected ringworm, and Dr. Patel said she wasn't sure what it was but it looked fungal. She then prescribed a steroid, mentioning that "it may or may not work, and if it is fungal, it'll probably make it worse." So, she thought it looked fungal but prescribed a steroid that could worsen it? I didn't even fill the prescription because I couldn't trust the doctor's judgment at all. Additionally, one of my family members had a poor experience here as well. He went in for a skin cancer examination, and it felt extremely rushed and lazy, taking mere seconds. We have skin cancer on both sides of our family so this is aboslutely unacceptable. Please, go anywhere else! read more

Pleasantly surprised with my treatment today with Dr. Atmatzidis. He had great energy, talked me through my condition (probably grew from an infected ingrown hair), and surgically removed pyogenic granuloma without any pain. I was relieved how quickly the procedure was. I left with instructions on how to heal the wound and stress free. It had been sitting on my body for about 3 months. I booked the appointment morning of and even managed to arrive late (I don't live in the area). Everyone was welcoming and I'd highly recommend Dr. Atmatzidis and his team to get the job done. I had such a fast and effective visit to Affiliated Dermatologists today wherein they quickly and easily worked on a cyst in my face. My Nurse Practitioner Tina was incredibly kind and very very lively in getting to procedure. I had a great time, and she even responded well to my anxiety about needles, which typically people don't. My son has been a patient for several years. Today I went for what i thought was our 3:30 appointment. Upon check in the receptionist says we had 3:15 and missed our appointment so they weren't sure they could see us. Mind you we still checked in at 3:29 so not even a 15min grace period. She then says they can see us but they are not sure when, sometime. Needless to say we left and will NOT be going back. read more

Stay Away. if I could give no stars, I would for Affiliated Dermatology in Morristown. My first visit was horrible enough (In spite of my objections I was given a procedure that was unnecessary. The dermatologist refused to speak with me previous to the procedure and I tried to stop it.)..but now I found out that Affilitated was breached and so was my information. They are careless with patient information and most likely they are not secured. On May 29, I was notified that my information (social security and everything) was breached!!!! Robert Lomardi, CEO held this information from me since March 5. Apparently he had absolutely no concern over identity fraud and my finances. To hold this information is UNTHINKABLE. Who would do that. STAY away! I experienced less than satisfactory practitioners attending to my medical needs on top of breaching my security first, and not advising me for over two months! read more

If I could give no stars it would be appropriate. I saw Dr. Patel in the Morristown office for something disturbing on my cheek and a full body scan. I have to tell you it took me longer to complete the paper work. Dr. Patel took 5 minutes to check everything out including the body scan. Dr. Patel said the sore on my cheek was nothing. She was definately on a marathon race and had absoulely no bed side manner. I felt like I was wasting her time. It kept coming back so i made an appointment with another dermatologist. (Schweiger Dermatology Group - Morristown) and saw Dr. Alex Tomczk. She was kind and answered all of my questions. The office is updated and clean She took a sample and it came back that I have Squamous cell carcinoma . DO NOT GO TO AFFILIATED DERMATOLOGISTS, especailly Dr. Patel. She is AWFUL! read more

Beware, made an apt to be seen by the MD doctor Dr Lauren Cooper,, as i specifically wanted a qualified Doctor not a PA to look at a cyst i was greatly concerned about on my lip, only to find out when I arrived for my apt, they switched me to be seen by a physician assistant without even bothering to notify me prior to me arriving for my apt, I was specific when making the apt I wanted the Doctor not a pa , so I left. I had taken time off of work to make the apt and they wasted my whole morning. Go somewhere else where your time isn't wasted and your request to see an actual doctor is not switched to a PA without your prior consent. I also wish I had read other reviews on this place prior to scheduling the initial apt, take a look they are far from positive. I will be sure to read all reviews on the next Dermatologist I end up scheduling with. read more

I had to take my 20 month old to see a dermatologist for a mole in his leg. I called the number to schedule an appointment, stated that he was 20 months old, confirmed his birthday etc. We get to the office in Morristown where they informed us that the doctor we were supposed to see, does not take pediatric patients. She called the other office down the walkway so we could get seen. The receptionist was extremely friendly, but that's where it ended. The nurse was so rude and cold and so rushed when we were explaining why we were there. The doctor brushed off our concerns but eventually biopsied the mole. The nurse had to come back in and tell us instructions to take care of the wound and again, so rude and cold and just overall unpleasant. I am not sure if they weren't happy they had to take us as we technically did not have an appointment with them but that absolutely was not our fault. I would absolutely not recommend this office. Adding to my review. As if it couldn't get any worse... After I wrote this, I received a phone call to follow up on my experience. We received my son's biopsy results via MyChart days before the office called me about them. I missed the phone call but called right back and was informed that the doctor who did the procedure would call me back. A couple of hours later, someone called back who was working with the doctor who did the procedure and told us that the tissue got destroyed in processing. I asked what is supposed to be done now as my son is missing a chunk out of his leg with no results. The man informed me that he could schedule us an appointment with the pediatric dermatologist down in the Bridgewater office. I stopped him right to and said "was the doctor I saw for my 20 month old son not a pediatric dermatologist?" In which he replied "well, she is but doesn't usually see patients that young" and if I wanted to go ahead a schedule a follow up with the other doctor in Bridgewater. I am absolutely livid. I told him if we would have known that the doctor we were seeing did not really deal with kids his size, we absolutely would have went elsewhere or rescheduled with the right doctor. I told them there was no need to schedule an appointment as we are never returning back there. The whole experience was absolutely terrible. The TL;DR version- The person who scheduled the initial appointment, scheduled it with the wrong doctor for my 20 month old son. When we arrived they sent us down the hall to a "pediatric dermatologist" but only to find out while getting the results from the biopsy that she apparently doesn't usually deal with kids that's young. The nurse was extremely rude and cold and short with her words. We felt like the doctor brushed off our concerns. The nurse came back to go over aftercare instructions and slapped a band aid on his leg and told us the bare minimum on how to take care of it. Believe all she said was "aquaphor". The tissue was destroyed in processing so we have no answers as to what was on my son's leg, just a chunk of skin missing and an AWFUL experience. Awful experience!! I had an appointment with Arlene Rogachefsky... who was actually recommended... i was shocked at her attitude problem as soon as she walked into the treatment room! I had some concerning skin issues that i had questions about..and when i asked her opinion on them... she said... " I don't have a crystal ball!" She took a biopsy of a mole on my leg... and she didn't even wait for the numbing to take effect before she started cutting into my skin! I brought afew products that i wanted to ask her about... which i had placed on the counter.. where she was making notes... she didnt even give me a chance to ask any questions She was only in the room with me for a very short time after she took the biopsy .... She rushed out .. without a word .. didn't talk to me about anything...very rude... i spent more time with the person at the front desk asking me a million questions about my insurance than i did with the "Dr.... I came to this office in bridgewater for initial Consultation. All went fine, sometime in May 2020 until Jan 2021 I've called the office to Make appointments and can't get through the scheduling lines. I've made appointments at the bridgewater office and was told that I could not come in because I had traveled, which is fine but the reception person told me I was giving a pre-visit call which I never received. She told me she would call me back to reschedule and I never received a call back to schedule an appointment. I called and finally got through and made an appointment. I returned to the office for the appointment I made and when I got there I was told that I had cancelled my appointment via "text". The intake person in the afternoon was much more helpful than the morning person and they finally did see me. I'm a paying customer not sure why they're making this so difficult. read more

Been coming here on and off since a teen. Used to get the acne facials here which are pretty awesome. After a lot of struggles with breakouts, I started accutane with this office. The experience (minus the mandated iPledge program) has been smooth. The reason why I knocked stars off was for hours. As a working adult, the hours are horrid. 10 am- 3pm?!?!? for some doctors. Come on - you know people work. There are no earlier mornings or later nights. So if you come on your lunch break, expect to wait. read more

The office staff got me in the next day with a physician assistant named Heather Patel. She was so caring and thorough and assured me that the growth was nothing to worry about. I had been a patient since I was in high school and I'm 34 now. I had a few great Dr's who left the practice. The office was always a bit disorganized and hard to reach but workable none the less. This past fall left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I get yearly skin checks with them and this time I had a biopsy of a mole. I am quite used to skin checks but I felt like I had no privacy as far as a sheet or anything to cover me. Just a cheap paper. Dr Rogachevsky rushed my service and literally started cutting my biopsy before it was numb. I told her this as well. I heard two weeks later I had a dysplastic nevus needing surgery. I was seen by Dr Lee and two assistants. They did the procedure with the door open the entire time while anyone could easily watch this blood bath. She was kind enough. I understand it was an irregular mole but the site was huge and left me looking DISGUSTING. They said this underlying stitch and outer stitch will heal well. A couple weeks ago I noticed two HOLES in my scar line. It was the holiday time but I was very concerned as I never experienced anything like this. I called twice. I talked to a woman who told me don't go to another dr they don't like touching another's work. Yeah right... I was told Dr Lee would call me back. That was three weeks ago. I understand the business has tons of patients but my last straw was broken. They really don't give two craps about their patients. It's a money maker. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I've been coming here for 17 years and have loved most of the doctors and nurse practitioners. However, I've had several not-so-great experiences recently. My most recent experience was the worst! The doctor was dismissive of my symptoms and even visibly rolled her eyes while I was talking! She prescribed me an ointment that was as heavy as Vaseline and meant for my scalp and acne-prone oily skin on my ears, face, trunk, and back - I'm so confused! To make matters worse, she neglected to call the script into my local pharmacy that I could walk to and instead sent it to SIP. It's great that they deliver and all, but it took 2 days to get the script filled, which means it was delivered on a Saturday, and I can't reach anyone until Monday! Had the doctor called it into my preferred pharmacy as the previous doctors have done, I would have been able to see that it was an ointment on Thursday and not paid for it! I would have been able to call the office to find out why the doctor prescribed a medium inappropriate for the scalp, face and is so sticky I cannot use it on my body and wear clothes. Plus, it says not to use it on acne, so I guess I can't use it! Maybe it was an accident, but I had to pay for it to find that out. This doctor seemed very inexperienced and not anything like the wonderful experiences that I've had in the past! read more

I've had several procedures done at affiliated for various conditions. Mainly biopsies and excisions of skin bumps. The staff has always been very helpful and my wait times pretty good considering how busy they've been. Dr. Lee, the head surgeon performed my last procedure and she really did a wonderful job and made me feel very comfortable. I think this group really does a spectacular job and I recommend to everyone who lives in the area. read more

Have been using this practice for many years. Yearly skin checks and they have been great. During Covid the did Mohs surgery on my hand. Promised it would heal well and they did great with it. No scar is visible at all. This past month had Mohs done on my cheek with some infection complications but not too bad. Upon getting my stitches removed I asked about scaring on my face and the nurse said "oh no, you are going to scar. You can always expect that when you have surgery done on your face." Never heard that prior to getting the stitches removed. Does not make me feel to good when they tell me that I am defiantly going scar and that I should ALWAYS expect it. When I asked about follow up I was told to only come back if I have an issue but otherwise no need for a check in. Feel like they should have explained to me that I would, and should, scar. I hope that in the future they do more to help patients do their best to avoid scaring instead what they did with me, which is essentially "you are on your own, good luck". This is the first time in my life I have ever left a doctors office in complete tears. This practice should be ashamed of themselves the way they treat patients. Dr Cooper is absolutely horrible with her bedside manner and acts as if she is on top of the world and you are a complete PEE ON. I began going to Affiliated in the 90's seeing Dr Marie Rozan. Dr Rozan had retired and I went back to see whomever was available. After having my first child I discovered a spot on my leg. I saw Dr Khadry (who left the practice shortly after) and she had done a biopsy which came back as Melanoma. Dr Bissaccia then took over my care (RIP). Dr Bissaccia took over managing the practice after drs Marie & Stephen Rozan had retired. The office had stopped taking my insurance which caused me to switch doctors. I recently decided to go back to this practice after learning they take my current insurance. I took my teenager who suffers from acne to see Michelle, who is the NA or PA. She was highly recommended. I was nothing but disappointed by her attitude. She told my son to remove his mask but don't talk or breathe while she looks at his face. She was clearly scared of Covid-19. I understand that but DO NOT treat someone else like they have the plague and are going to kill you, especially a child. I went back for my appointment with Dr Cooper. I was told it would be a cosmetic appointment and would have to pay for the consult & the procedure would be done that same day. I was fine with that. I was asked by the nurse questions about my medical history including if I was vaccinated. I didn't feel as this had anything to do with the reason I was there. I heard the nurse in the hall tell the dr I wasn't vaccinated when in all actuality that wasn't what I told her. The dr came into the office in a rush, was completely nasty, told me she was in the middle of another procedure and didn't have time for this and there would be no charge for the visit. Seems a bit odd to me. The only thing I could figure out is she was also scared of the virus. I am sorry but you took an oath to be a dr. I have had facials in during this pandemic and never have been treated in this manner. Shame on these 2 for bringing me to tears. To make me feel as if I was ugly and there was nothing they could do to help me, rush me out of the office & was nothing but plain out rude when I chose to come to your office. For making my 15 yr old feel less than important, for not taking a minute to listen to him and treating him like he had the cooties. I would never suggest anyone take the chance and go to this office. They do not care about their patients and their bedside manner is absolutely horrific. read more

I visited the Livingston, NJ office. The physician's assistant seemed knowledgeable enough, though I would have preferred to see a doctor. She gave me a custom prescription through a compounding pharmacy, which I found interesting and innovative. I have left 1 message at the front desk and 2 in the patient portal on their website asking a question about facial moisturizers for my skin. It has been 2 weeks and I have not heard back at all. This is totally not acceptable. It's horrible actually. read more

I never ever take the time to post a review. If I could leave zero stars I would - I am so frustrated with the customer service at this office. However, this needs to be said. My son is a patient at this Morristown office as well as my husband. A mistake was made placing their medication - mistakes happen and can be understood. However, I called the office on Friday to talk to the doctor about some side effect that I was concerned about that my son was having, and called on Saturday called twice as an emergency about the issue with the medication for my son. On Friday - no response from the doctor. On Saturday called twice (an emergency call) no response. Called Monday morning left my 4th message - no response. Called Monday afternoon 5th call - was assured someone would get back to me. Tanya a nurse who I spoke to on Friday who assured me the doctor would call back - calls me back today to address the issue with my son's medication - which I was so thankful for the call. She called to say the Issue was fixed but she was very short with me saying it wasn't her, fault, she doesn't even work for that doctor, and was basically trying to brush me off the phone before I could be assured we were on the same page. Then I was trying to explain the issue with my husbands meds - she basically tried to end the call stating - "I'm busy with patients here and have tons of work, I don't work for that doctor today, it's probably an insurance issue.... I asked her if she could stop cutting me off so I could explain as it is impossible to get in touch with anyone from the office and want to be sure we are on the same page and the correct medicine will be available. She was rude to me, short with me, and said I'm doing you a favor calling you back for your son - I'm not working for your husband's doctor today. My question to her was - do you work for a different doctor each day? Her response - yes. So today I have to find the nurse that works for the doctor that my husband went last week and she will tell me - it wasn't her fault or never call back and the cycle of no customer service will start again? Basically, no accountability....rude, passes the buck, blames the insurance company and puts all the work on the patient to try and fix their mistakes. She assured me my son's meds were placed and when I went to the pharmacy - you guessed it - not placed yet. I called the office back again - and was left on hold for 15:30 seconds when I finally got a call from the pharmacy saying it was placed. I wonder if the doctors in that office have any idea of the poor system that have put in place. Sad - because the doctors seem to be good - their office has grown too large and their is no customer service, empathy, or connection. I don't work for that doctor today and can't help you. I have tons of work and I'm doing you a favor calling you back. Then leaves me on hold forever because I just wouldn't give up out of pure frustration. read more

I write this review as a WARNING. Dr. Cooper was my derm for over 7 years and I went faithfully for my skin checks. I had a spot on my leg that she said was okay and not to worry about it and each year she said the same thing about it. I have since moved and when I went to a new doctor here she took one look at that spot and biopsied it immediately and it came back as a melanoma! I just had very invasive surgery and hope that the surgeon has saved my life. Dr. Cooper's cavalier and lazy attitude has cost me dearly. She needs to retire before she ruins someone else's life. read more
