Anne-Marie (?) at the desk was super helpful and though their system had a bit of difficulty (they recently switched to a new system), I was eventually registered. Dr. Altman was fantastic. Inquisitive and comforting as well as efficient, was in and out in less than an hour even as a walk-in, plus a follow-up a week and a half later. Though no big gauze pads, so had to do with a make-shift one. And on top of that, prescription send directly to the right pharmacy.

He said that she was very thorough and professional. At his request, she removed many growths on his back that were not cancerous, but had grown larger & darker over the years. I was very nervous about visiting a doctor's office during the COVID-19 pandemic. The doctors and…read morestaff at Dermatology Consultants of Northern Jersey made me feel very comfortable in the waiting room and examination room by spacing out patients' appointments, sending the new patient intake forms to me to complete prior to my arrival at the office, removing seating from the small waiting room, maintaining a clean environment, and ensuring patients and staff wear adequate personal protective equipment while in the office. Dr. Popkin called me in to see him within a few minutes of my on-time arrival and spent plenty of time with me to evaluate the specific reason for my visit and to perform a thorough exam for other skin issues. After the exam, he explained my options for treatment, answered any questions I had about the treatment, painlessly removed the item in question, and called with the results of the biopsy when he said he would. I will definitely return to Dr. Popkin for any future dermatology issues.
