My daughter took the 3-4 year old ballet class with Ms. Natalie, and she was absolutely wonderful. So patient, so sweet, and clearly amazing with tiny humans who may or may not follow directions The only reason we stopped is because my daughter decided ballet wasn't really her thing at the moment. While the class was working on pointing their feet, she preferred to "swim" across the floor and occasionally pull her tutu up to her chest. I think she might've just been a little too young to fully grasp ballet structure. But when she's ready to keep her tutu where it belongs and follow the steps, we will definitely be back. Overall we had a great experience and would absolutely recommend this studio!

I never imagined that one day she would be dancing on stage at a National Finale, competing alongside some of the best dancers in California! Perfect Pointe has been life-changing for us. The studio is more than just a dance school -- it's a warm, supportive community that truly nurtures each dancer's growth, confidence, and passion. The training is top-notch, with a strong focus on both technique and personal development. A heartfelt THANK YOU to Ms. Belle and Ms. Stephanie, whose dedication, patience, and encouragement have played such a huge role in my child's journey. You saw her potential before anyone else did, and your belief in her has made all the difference. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to everyone at Perfect Pointe. We are so grateful to be part of this amazing dance family!

One of the most valuable skills developed is to overcome stage fright. Ms Lulu encourages students to do self-introductions, modelling/cat-walk, sing, dance, and build overall stage presence. This may sound simple but can actually be quite challenging. Being able to confidently acquire this skill takes a dash of grit and more importantly - the opportunities to practice! Ms Lulu works hard to consistently create these opportunities for students in a wide variety of settings! From one-on-one voice lessons, to formal recitals, to community venues, to municipal events, to modelling at fashion shows, to filming music videos, to singing national anthems and performances at crowded sports stadiums, to highly advertised music events in crowded college campuses. Our daughter even got to experience singing in professional grade music recording studios! The value of these experiences in building a child's confidence is absolutely incredible! If your child is considering playing an instrument, sing, dance, or doing any sort of performing arts - This IS hands down the BEST studio! I highly recommend giving them a chance to help nurture and showcase your child's talents!

They offer so many different classes, and there truly is something for every child. My daughter is enrolled in their Hip Hop and All Stars programs, and she absolutely loves it. She looks forward to class every week and has grown so much, both in skill and in confidence. They also put on two major performances each year, along with smaller showcases throughout the season. It's an amazing setup for kids who are interested in performing and want to build stage confidence in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Overall, it's an uncomfortable environment where the owners are always yelling/arguing with each other right in front of the parents/kids. I also find it unacceptable the constant yelling that occurs between the owners towards the other teachers. My "1" star rating is based on the following: 1) Unprofessional behavior (yelling/arguing) between the owners. 2) Dirty Bathrooms with no paper towels. Cloth towels are provided, but the same towel is used daily by everyone. Surfaces are never disinfected such as benches, doorknobs, and handrails. 3) Chaos in every recital. Constant changes are rarely communicated. 4) Love the recital but tired of seeing the owner (Geoff) in every other number. I come to see the kids perform, not a 60-year-old man performing with teenage girls. 5) Covid-19 Epidemic: As all the schools, universities, gyms, bars, movie theaters and restaurants closed, owners choose to keep dance studio open putting our kid's safety at risk. When the city placed restrictions, the owner stated they were staying open and simply setting their own guidelines (not adhering to the CDC guidelines) to keep students safe. When the entire state shuts down, how can Dancemaker be the only exception?

The VIP seats are small private room on the second floor, they have two of them as far as I saw. We had a small table for our food and drink orders for the comedy show. Food is a bit overpriced. I would recommend, if it's not a long show, get the chips and fries with a drink for both. The comedy shows require a two item minimum. Otherwise, great time for all!

The studio space itself is incredible! The lobby is clean and organized, the dance floors are sprung which is the safest type of dance floor to prevent injury, there are observing glass window doors to watch the students in action, and music rooms to hold voice lessons. They have an amazing staff, who truly care about each and every student and are amazing teachers who teach many genres: Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop; along with singing and acting. Crescendo's annual showcase is the main event of the year. The showcase is very professional and includes professional lighting, sound, and tech. It is amazing to showcase the work done by the students in a performance that is well organized and ran like a professional show! Along with the showcase, the studio holds auditions for summer musicals. We have kids and adults from all areas come out to be apart of an amazing production. I am blessed to say I have been apart of every single production for over 10 years with Crescendo Theatrical Productions, including our last production of Little Mermaid where we sold out the last weekend of shows. If you are into theatre, come join us on our next adventure! Crescendo also has a singing group called the Berrytones ran by the owner and director of the studio, Tracy Berry, and a dance group called Chrysalis ran by Annie Jovellanos. They are the the living example of the studio's motto "Developing God-Given Talents". The studio is a non-profit studio, and these groups perform at many non-profit events like cancer walks, senior citizen homes, and various churches. They encompass the meaning of what it is to be apart of Crescendo by being a family performing in His name. What makes this studio so different from other studios is the atmosphere. We truly are a big loving family, who honor God through singing, theatre, and dancing. Crescendo is my second home, and the friendships and lifelong memories is worth every moment I have spent at this studio. This studio is my family and I thank my parents for putting me into classes at such a young age. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else except for Crescendo. If you are looking not only for an amazing studio, but a family, Crescendo Performing Arts is the best place to put your Children in. I love this place and I will NEVER EVER leave it...

My husband and I are both suckers for dressing up in medieval-inspired clothing and enjoying the fantasy atmosphere, shows, costumes, and creative energy. I've been to the faire several times over the past few years, and I do still enjoy going. It's fun seeing everyone's costumes, doing a little window shopping, watching performances, and just being in an environment where people are free to dress dramatically and act absolutely ridiculous which is part of the charm. You never know what kind of characters or familiar faces you'll run into. All that shared, it has gotten pretty expensive just to visit. Tickets are now close to $50 per person, parking costs extra, and food can also be pricey unless you pack lunch and eat before going inside. I feel like if you're going to go, you need to plan for it as an all-day trip and bring enough money so you can actually enjoy the games, food, drinks, or some of the better-quality merchandise. Otherwise, it can feel like you're paying a lot just to walk around and sweat in costume. You also have to be ready for the California heat. Since there aren't indoor areas with AC, your best bet is finding shaded spots whenever possible and staying hydrated. I still love going mainly because I enjoy dressing up. My favorite costume I've put together was my Esmeralda-inspired outfit from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and the faire is definitely the kind of place where you can have fun with that without feeling out of place. Overall, I'd say it's worth experiencing if you enjoy Renaissance/fantasy themes, costumes, live entertainment, and unique vendors. Just be sure to go prepared. Check the weather, wear comfortable shoes, bring sunscreen, hydrate, go with friends or family, and save some money for the extras so the trip actually feels worth it.
