NOV. 9TH 2023 I told Afc Exteriors ( Pablo Owner) that my breezeway ceiling was leaking. Sam (Pablo's brother) came over and seen the leaking spots and felt that my ceiling tiles were damp. They ran water on the roof but did not get drips from ceiling. They asked to go in addic and i explained that the breezeway was an addition and there is no addic or crawl space above. They asked if they could cut down the ceiling tiles in the spots that were leaking, and I said yes, as long as they are replaced, once the leaking is fixed. Sam called Pablo and they decided not to go that route, and would address the issue in the spring.
I was contact in Dec. 2023 by Pablo and he wanted me to sign the completion form so they could get the last payment. I told him I would sing the form with the agreement that they would come in the spring to address and fix the leak in the breezeway. He agreed to coming in the spring to fix the leaks so I signed the completion form Dec. 14th 2023.
Feb. 20 2024 I message Pablo pictures of all the things not completed on my house and that I was unable to turn my water on outside as the handle was hitting the siding. I also sent him pictures of the screw holes in the corner caps from when they replaced the gutters and down spouts. O told him my breezeway ceiling tiles were still getting damp and the spots are getting larger. Pablo replied he would be doing a final walk around with me, and be giving me a 10 year workmanship warranty once they were completed.
March 26th 2024 Pablo texted me to set up a walk around on the 27th March. Pablo came the 27 th and there were many issues, caulking had not been done, water spiket was not working properly, house adress sign was not put on properly, corner caps had screw holes ( and still are there as of 2/25/2025) they did not caulk the holes, nor replace the corn caps like I asked.
April 29th 2024 Pablo came back to my house to inspect " work of the gutter rew and other pending punch outs". I was not home when he did the inspection as I was working.
My breezeway is still leaking and AFC Exteriors has failed to uphold their agreement on fixing the leaks and damages in the breezeway and They have not replaced or caulked the corn caps, thus has not been paid in full.
They have taken me to court and want attorney fees. What good is a warranty if the work was never done properly in the first place? I do not have a warranty and the job was not completed when AFC wanted me to sign the completion form in December of 2023. The last time they were at my house was April 2024 and the job is still not completed.
