I am long overdue in writing this review. I would recommend Sabrina to anyone who wants to get…read morehealthy in an organic way! I had worked with Sabrina in the past and after years of struggling and as I have gotten older, I knew I had to reach out to her. I have always been active and I workout every day so that was not an issue for me. But I was still slowly and steadily gaining weight. I have tried every meal plan and/or diet you can think of spending hundreds of dollars a week on food and hours in the kitchen meal prepping, and nothing worked long term. I reached out to Sabrina in September and started working with her a week or so after my initial call. She made a few tweaks to my diet and my exercise routine, and the weight began to come off. We worked together until the middle of January. During our time working together I lost 20lbs. OVER. THE. HOLIDAYS. I am a social person, and food is always a part of that, so the holidays are especially challenging. If I can lose 20lbs over the holidays, anyone can. Since finishing my last session with Sabrina I have continued to lose weight. It doesn't come off as fast because I am not super focused on it, but that is what I love. It has felt easy to just keep doing what I am doing. The changes she made to my diet fit easily into my lifestyle. I finally feel like I am not on a diet, I have just changed the way I eat, and I am spending less money on food and spending less time on meal prepping than I was before working with her. I don't get on the scale a lot these days as I am more focused on feeling good than what the scale says, but every time I do, I am down a few more pounds.

Surely it wasn't the experience, I've had great experience. A friend suggested I try working with Kris, a career coach who would be able to help me with my resume. I thought, why not, I must be doing something wrong here. We met at a coffee shop after I had sent her my current resume. In the most polite way, she ripped it apart. She clearly outlined the steps needed to fix my resume, and gave me a quote then and there. I was sold! Even though she admitted to never working on a resume in my profession before (audio production), she was all in. We set up successive phone meetings to talk about my resume. She is really concerned about getting the resume to read like "my story." She took the time to understand the 'audio lingo' necessary for my resume. Not after long I had a completely rewritten resume that was polished, concise and 1,000 times better than I could have written. I've always found it hard to write about my accomplishments. The way it is written now is spectacular! After the success of a well written resume, I had her take a go on my LinkedIn profile. It was sparse, poorly written, and I felt it didn't represent me. She didn't just re-write my resume, she tailored it for social media. With both my LinkedIn profile updated and resume, I feel much more confident searching for jobs. To summarize Kris: professional, honest, great business ethics, great writer! When I land the next interview, I will definitely be utilizing her services to prep for it. Thanks Kris!

She did make a few changes to my existing resume, but I wasn't impressed. Thanked her but it left a lot to be desired. Red flags definitely went up when she referred to my being empathetic as a negative since Empathy is one of my top 5 strengths. Red flags because there is no weaknesses in your strengths when it comes to strength finder. That's the entire point of the system. Instead of trying to improve weaknesses in a career setting, strength finder teaches how to utilize your strengths. This led me to check to see if she was CERTIFIED by Clifton and strength finder and I learned she wasn't. https://www.gallup.com/learning/certification/en/directory - Her website states she is trained, which in my opinion is misleading. I did find a wonderful CERTIFIED coach and it's a world of difference. They're positive and upbeat and definitely know what they are talking about. I had also hired her for tutoring my son some years ago and to help my daughter with essay writing for college application. While I appreciated her help with my son, I didn't realize she hired college and HS students to tutor the kids while charging the rates that she does. More recently I hired a math tutor for my son, paying the same rate, but it was one on one tutoring, and there definitely was a difference.
