Daniel is a genius, First off all he caters to the gf that needs everything right. The choices of fillings and cake types are many and they all sounded so good. Daniel's communication is perfect and he made sure that everything went smooth for the poor fumbling boyfriend. The cake came out beautiful. The details on the cake were perfect and he even color coded it to the specific occasion. The cake was the best tasting cake I have ever tried in my life....ever. My husband and I heard about Aestheticakes from our wedding venue, The Vineyards. We met with Dan, the owner, about six months before our wedding day. Dan was an absolute pleasure to work with - he is very talented, professional, and such a nice person. At our first meeting, he provided us with samples of cakes and various fillings. It was all so delicious, we knew immediately that he was the baker we wanted for our wedding cake! His attention to detail on his designs is impeccable. We also had a rather large Lenox cake topper, and Dan made sure that the top of the cake could accommodate it with no problems. We chose yellow cake with cookies and cream filling. Our cake was amazing and looked absolutely stunning! We received nothing but compliments on it the day of the wedding, with many guests asking who our baker was. Dan was also able to bake a small vegan cake to accommodate those few guests who had dietary restrictions. They all raved about it, and I even heard that at the end of the night they fought over who would take home the extra slices! Dan is the man! Dan did our 3 tier wedding cake, and he truly excelled. Not only was the cake delicious but the presentation was exemplary; We told him what we wanted, being prescriptive in the overall design however gave him some limited artistic latitude in the fine detail and the detail was stunning. Can only heartily recommend his work to any considering him. We did taste testing at multiple bakeries on Long Island and he was jointly tied top for the cake flavor and choices with another more established bakery but for wedding cakes presentation is also very important - especially for those photos and this was where his prior work totally won me over and we were so happy we went with him. read more

The cake that Dan (the owner) made me has to be the most delicious cake that I have ever tasted! I wanted a 3D Mickey Mouse cake and I searched online every day for over a week...Some of the cakes had such an ugly face, I thought I would never find the right cake for my baby's 1st birthday party...I came across his website and saw how beautiful his cakes were so I contacted him. I met with him, he was so nice and patient with me (I'm really picky and indecisive)....I showed him what I wanted and tasted some cake flavors and fillings. To say that he delivered beyond my expectations would be an understatement. My party guests absolutely LOVED the cake!! They couldn't even believe that it was a cake, it was so perfect...You rarely get a cake that looks great AND is delicious, but I honestly got both...The Mickey Mouse looked amazing, my friend and I actually gasped when we saw it, and the cake was so moist, and the filling was so good, I can't say enough about how happy I was...The cake went so fast, I was sad there was no cake left for seconds!!! read more

I ordered 2 cakes from Aestheticakes for my daughters' birthdays. Dan, the owner, was very responsive & professional. I met him up for a tasting and was amazed at the texture and moistness of the cakes. I have been to tastings where the cakes were great at the tasting but the were not as good when they arrived....but I am very excited to say that is not the case with Aestheticakes! The cakes turned out BEAUTIFULLY! I couldn't imagine them being any better! Everyone at our party asked where we got them made. Not only were the cakes stunning, but they tasted phenomenal! We ordered the red velvet/cream cheese and chocolate/dulce De Leche cakes. I will definitely be coming back here again for my next event. Thanks so much for your work, Dan! After graduating from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City, owner and head cake artist, Dan Beck started Aestheticakes to provide the Long Island and New York area with beautiful, edible works of art. From a small shop located on Long Island, we create custom-order cakes for any event. We offer delivery throughout the Long Island and New York City areas.

The buttercream frosting was where I felt the cake fell a bit short. It tasted like pure unsalted butter and had almost no sweetness to it, so we ended up just eating the cake center and leaving the frosting. Unfortunate for an expensive cake but based on the other reviews I'm wondering if it was just a one time error. I don't think I would get another cake from there, but the rest of the baked goods and empanadas looked awesome so I will definitely be bake to try those!

We cannot thank Aestheticakes for their attention to detail . Our daughters Sweet 16 cake of a Chanel pocketbook with hundreds coming out of it was so convincing that some people thought it was a real Chanel bag. My sons surprise golf cake was as impressive. Not only was Daniel helpful in creating these two cakes in a short amount of time . He was also very conscious of our budget and helped us keep our budget in check . Not to mention how delicious the cakes were. We can't thank Aestheticakes enough for their help in making these cakes for our children.
