I found Annmarie randomly after searching for an electrologist online, and I'm so glad I did! I…read morecontacted her and sent photos of my skin, and she provided clear advice on what to expect during the process. As a Black person, one of my main concerns was scarring, but Annmarie reassured me that if I followed her instructions, I wouldn't experience any. She was absolutely right. I'll be honest: my pain tolerance is low (around a 3), but Annmarie was incredibly accommodating and helped me manage any discomfort. I've had over 5 sessions so far, focusing on chin and facial hairs, and the results have been amazing. There's been a significant reduction in hair growth, and I'm very satisfied with the progress. I plan to continue until I'm hair-free. My biggest piece of advice: LISTEN to Annmarie's instructions. For example, don't shave or pluck the treated area, and be sure to use Polysporin afterward. You'll experience some crusting, but it will fade within 1-2 days with the Polysporin treatment. Also I have done laser on the above specified area before, and I found for me it wasn't doing much, which is why I switched to electrolysis.
