I've been craving it for so long, and while the fresh kimchi in the Lotte supermarket deli fridge was sufficient, I have found my new go to. The kimbap tasted fresh (would suggest the spam!), and the fried cutlet was beautifully fried, even when we broke it open to eat at home. The cold noodle was bomb! I initially wasn't thrilled they put the noodles and the broth in the same container but it was actually fine by the time we ate it at home and the noodles were exactly the right level of bouncy/chewy, the broth was still frozen in some areas (rightfully so). I can't wait to come back for the same exact order!

The inside is really homey with wood tables, benches and decor. We got the seafood pancake and bibim naengmyeon which hits the spot so hard in the summer. It comes with some sauces for you to customize as you wish (horseradish, vinegar etc) Since the buckwheat noodles can be hard to chew they offer to cut the noodles for you table side. It's a super refreshing option since the broth is partially like a frozen slush and topped with crunchy veggies like cucumbers and carrots. The portions here are generous and give plenty of food. The seafood pancake was packed with seafood. Everything also comes with a variety of small side dishes, usually pickled items like kimchi etc.

My server and chef, Leo D. walked me through the menu, the brisket I chose, and explained all of the sides as well as the sauces. He was kind, patient, helpful, and professional. The brisket was delicious on its own. But the array of sides, including their kimchi was amazing. Excellent flavors and some great tasting spice, saltiness, and mild sweetness on occasion. I also had the bean curd soup, which was fantastic and packed with a great spicy kick. My soju limeade was a bit too sweet yet still refreshing. The place is great just maybe a bit too dark. Though that does make the colorful dishes "pop" more. I left content with not only a great appreciation for Korean BBQ but I was upset that I never had the chance to try it sooner! Chadol Korean BBQ is truly an exceptional and fun place to dine.

We had a bit of everything: naengmyeon, beef and seafood soondubu, mandu, sweet & sour chicken, and jjampong. I've tried it at a couple other places in the area and been underwhelmed, the one here is quite good, second only to my holy grail version which is sadly in a state I don't plan to revisit. We also had a seafood panjeon and it was excellent - tons of seafood and vegetables, a crisp breading that didn't feel doughy at all. The food was served with a couple banchan (radish, cabbage kimchi and the pickled radish + raw onion that is usually served with jjajangmyeon). The prices are great for Korean food; the jjajangmyeon was 10.99, pancake 19.99 and hubs and I brought about half of each home. We probably could have gotten away with just ordering one or the other but having leftovers is golden. We'll be back to try some other items on the menu!

Let me say, I was pleasantly surprised. Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted by the owners. It was obvious that it was my first time there so the woman was super eager to explain their menu, specialities and other specials they have. They even have catering! I told her I was there for the wings so she explained all the flavors and highlighted the top 3 flavors. She even let me sample the soy garlic, sweet and sour and the K-bbq. I settled on the soy garlic and MY GOODNESS!!! They were so good yall! This IS a Korean Fried chicken spot so do not go in there expecting KFC, bc it's not that. Quite frankly, it's 100x better!!! The restaurant was clean, organized, and very easy to maneuver in. There were several to go orders waiting, so it seems to be popular. I ordered my wings and fries to go as well. The wings were so flavorful and were still hot when I got home, thanks to how they were packaged. They were juicy but not too soft. The breading and the sauce still allowed for crisp and the garlic was not overpowering at all. So glad I went with their recommendation. The fries were also still hot as well. The owners were so nice and hospitable. If you don't come for the food, at least go to experience genuine customer service! I work around the corner so I will be back for a lunch special! I'd highly recommend this place!!! Tip: the resty is more so on the backside of the plaza facing the residential area (if you're in the Safeway parking lot).

I read them and it was all about the service, especially about tipping. The managment at this restaurant needs to wake up! The food here is very good but the servers are out of control. Here is my experience. We enjoyed a good meal, the entrees were well seasoned and the servers kept our tea glasses full. I could have used more seafood in my soup, it one jumbo shrimp and one clam so small it was a chocking risk but the broth was good and medium hot as ordered. I got the check and I paid with a credit card for the food only and signed it. I leave tips in dollar coins because I believe we should get rid of the $1 bill as most industrialized countries had done. It would save taxpayers $283 million dollars a year. The coin will last forever, as they have no "melt" value. The server walked away from the table and immediately confronted me, "Where's the tip?" I said I was leaving a cash tip. I put $12 on the table in a pile of coins for a $60 check, and we went to the car. The server followed us out the door and demanded to know where the tip was? I said it was on the table and we got into the car and left. If you look at the one star reviews, my fellow yelpers had similar problems. Management needs to tell the servers that tipping is not required. I usually tip 20%, sometimes more if the service is exceptional. If I have a bad meal and/or service, I will ask to see the manager. Since, in the past, I have managed restaurants, I am comfortable doing this. I have told my daughter, who doesn't believe in tipping that she will be less welcome each time she returns to a restaurant. I know how servers feel about people that don't tip, that servers depend on tips. However, in my 20 years of restaurant work, I have seen servers fired for confronting customer about small or non-existent tips. Usually, a professional server will go back to the kitchen and say something nasty about the customer or make fun them. I would not return to this restaurant pending an apology for the server's rudeness and I would not recommend that you go there.

We enjoyed them and the entrees were both big. Today, we got the lunch special, which is a choice of entree from the lunch menu and a can of soda, all for $12.95. I got the spicy pork bowl and my partner got the teriyaki shrimp bowl. Both were delicious. I enjoyed the spiciness of my sauce, but the sauce also had a bit of sweet to it and was pretty light (some sauces are gelatinous). Same with the teriyaki. The shrimp were well prepared (there were 8 of them!) and the sauce nice and light. The server came by a couple of times to fill water glasses and I actually took some of my entree home for dinner - with the rice, it's a lot to eat. Speaking of the rice, although it's simple boiled white rice, I liked the texture and it was good. Some of the whole chicken pieces (especially the breast) were a bit dry or had more breading than meat. But the wings we ordered were super tender, juicy, and flavorful. The included sides are pickled radish, salad, and coleslaw, which were a nice touch. They helped cut through the oiliness and paired well with the chicken. Our favorite flavor was the "sweet & spicy" wings (level 2 spice), nice kick and really tasty. The "white snow" flavor was sweet and powdery (kind of like sweet cheddar), not my thing but my friends enjoyed it. The menu was a bit hard to understand at first and felt a little overwhelming to navigate. Took us a few minutes to figure out how to order. Servicewise, the food came out in waves. We got fries and one half chicken first, then the rest of the food and drinks about 20 minutes later. Not a huge issue, but it would've been better if fries and drinks came out first. Overall, fun vibes and cute decor. I'd come back for drinks and wings with friends. Bonus: there's a cute free photo booth in the back of the restaurant near the bathroom.
