    Great service with knowledgeable staff. Helpful and thoughtful. Brook is detailed oriented and professional. Awesome vacuums!

    What the hell is wrong with you people?…read more My mom was dealing with issues with her new fridge she got from this store. The fridge was condemned, and she needed a new one delivered under warranty. Something happened between Lew White and Frigidaire and Frigidaire ended up doing the delivery. While Frigidaire was there, the owner of Lew White's son, Harper, called my mom on the phone and started SCREAMING at her. She had no idea what was going on as she did not facilitate the delivery. It was so bad that the delivery guys from Frigidaire ended up calling their supervisor concerned with how loud he was screaming at my mother. She called Lew White, they said take the delivery, so she did. Then he called her and proceeded to scream at her for several minutes. Absolutely DISGUSTING. This is the VP of your company? You should be ashamed of yourselves talking to a woman like that. Harper, you're a little boy, not a man. Stop yelling at women.

I say " yes we . . ." and he cuts me off saying "you have to stand by the door", to which I respond "I will keep my distance". "No, you can't be breathing on other people." "I can't wear a mask." "Then you have to wait outside." Changed from waiting by the door to waiting outside. I asked "Why? Is that your business's policy?" He responded with "We don't want to sell you anything!" That is fine, I will not be buying anything from Lew White again. This is not because they have a mask requirement, but for the aggressive and derogatory treatment of a potential customer, a repeat customer.

He took the model number and told me that it needed a new fan to get the cool air to circulate the freezer and the refrigerator and that he would be back, I was under the impression that this all would happen immediately, but nothing happened so I called the company the next day, got to speak with a woman at the place that told me, they text me about the parts needed, a fan motor and thermostat and that it would cost me $ 380.00, would take a week to order, in turn told her that besides being a lot of money all the food would be spoiled, and that is not what George told me, besides I told George that I only had a landline and email in case that you have to contact me, she then told me to call George that took me 6 calls at different times to get him on the telephone! I explained what the woman told me and in turn he was going to call her and call me back. This never happened. not getting anywhere with these people I contacted someone else, just happened that their service mechanic was in my area and would be over shortly after finishing his service call. He came and checked out the GE refrigerator, told me no problem, went to work right away, took the base cover of the freezer, a total of 4 screws ad two on the base of the top cover and in doing so got access to the fan motor, now testing, the fan motor was ok and after checked a thermostat that was clipped on the freon line and showed it was defective, replaced it and the refrigerator now working fine! (Thermostat looked like a grey candy "1.5 inch long") with a clip on it and two wires coming out of it) The person was here 45 minutes, had lots of equipment and parts neatly in his truck, charged me $ 15.00 for the part, a far cry from $380.00 and since I was 92 years old, for the service call charged me $75.00. Econo has several good ratings, but actually are scammers, their address is fake "487 Federal Road, Brookfield", I went to, there is no Econo Appliance Service there, they are located somewhere in a private neighborhood, in a private residence, tried to find them at that place and gave up! If you go on their web site it shows a flag in a field far away from Federal Road! I can see on their website that they scammed many people, and this is probably only a fraction of the complaints against this company. I.T./Newtown CT

    Wish i could give zero stars…read more Purchased a very expensive range. It took 4 months to arrive (2 months later than original estimate). After paying extra for installation, the installers kinked my propane line and installed the range without a rear leg. It cost me an additional $200 to have a plumber come and fix the propane line. The leg is still MIA. The range is a lemon. It's brand new and thermostats for both ovens need to be replaced as well as the fan motor. The ovens are smaller than the floor model I was told was the exact same size and where I tested the size of my sheets/pans. The griddle doesn't heat evenly the burners are terrible. I have asked to have it replaced due to the malfunctions but keep getting the runaround from the Zemels salesman. He wants to repair and blames the manufacturer for not replacing but when i contacted the manufacturer, they tell me that is solely up to the store. I have ok'd the repair because i have been left no other choice. A brand new, high end appliance should not need replacement of three major components right out of the box. What does that say about the quality and longevity of the rest of the parts? I tried to shop local but am getting the worst customer service ever for my effort. Next time I'll stick with Home Depot or Lowe's. Certainly not worth my $6,000! It has been 7 months since I ordered this nightmare and still no resolution. Hopefully Zemels will do the right thing and take this piece of junk back and refund my money. Otherwise I'm going to have to take legal action and nobody wants that. Hoping to update this with a positive resolution.
