I would give them a zero if I could, so incompetent. My partner needs two concentrators due to high liter usage. Their mission was to deliver two concentrators and five d tanks and five e tanks. The guy that delivered brought two concentrators four three cannulas... no tanks, no tubing, no connectors... evidently he has not one clue how an oxygen concentrator works. When my partner called the office ( waited fifteen minutes to answer the after hours phone) to tell them... I can sit in the bathroom or lie in bed but I can't move from room to room... she was told by gal on phone that the on call delivery person said we can address it in the morning. She agreed to call supervisor and left a message. He finally called my partner. It took an hour to have this putz finally deliver five measly connectors... not a bag of connectors... just five connectors. It is a good thing I had long tubing sitting around. Such utter incompetence... the whole lot of them should be fired. read more

I had heart surgery and was prescribed oxygen. I got this horrible machine from Adapt Health in Cincinnati that was so heavy and noisy I couldn't use it. It came with these plastic tubes that hurt my face. I told them to come and pick it up. This was back at the beginning of March 2025. It took them two weeks to show up, but they finally did. In October, I received a letter threatening me with a charge of almost $4,000 because they claimed they "don't have your updated insurance information." This for a piece of crap machine I already sent back to them months ago! Then when I called them, they had no clue what was going on. They kept asking me for the exact date and time they picked it up. Really?! I was too busy staying alive to think about doing their job for them! So today, they called again "on a recorded line." Like I'm supposed to start quaking in fear over their "recorded line" when they're the ones in the wrong. This time they said "oh, we're not the supplier. We just want your updated insurance information," which is none of their business because I have no service with them and will never, ever use them again! They're so disorganized that they can't keep track of your own equipment and then decide to harass ex-customers instead. Do NOT go anywhere near this company if you value your sanity. I am so frustrated in trying to speak to someone locally. I just want to know about their insurance contracts before I change my mom's medicare. If you only need automatic resupplies of CPAP they might be acceptable. Try to get a hold of a local office and forget it. Spoke to four different people after going through two dozen prompts. After being disconnected TWICE was not able to got a hold of the local office to make an appointment. Will never deal with them again. read more

I worked for the sleep center at Premier/Miami Valley Hospital, Centerville facility, for over 7 yrs. Aerocare is the DME (Durable Medical Equipment) we liked to use for CPAP machine set-ups and supplies the majority of the time. They are one of the best around. Very timely, friendly, and helpful to us at the sleep center, and to the patients that come in to get set up on CPAP machines. I'd say about 99.9% of the time, patients explained that they were beyond happy with Aerocare. They also take nearly every insurance, I think there might be just one insurance they don't take, and they are the only one of the other five DME companies we referred to, that took almost every insurance. They do have to get approval for your CPAP machine through your insurance company, and sometimes it can take a little while, maybe a couple weeks. They usually don't set up an apptmt to pick up and have instructions on how to use your equipment until they get approval from your insurance company. Aerocare will call you to set up that apptmt as soon as they do hear from them. We always told patients if you do not hear from Aerocare within two weeks, to call them to verify, and then to call the sleep center if there are any questions. As I am reading the other review which is a complaint, I see that that one is about a wheelchair. I am not aware that this particular Aerocare provides wheelchairs for patients, but they might. I know as far as CPAP machines and other supplies that they really are the best around. The number for Aerocare Durable Medical Equipment in Kettering,OH on Far Hills Ave is 937-335-9199. (Also, if you get a call from or if a label with supplies mails to you and mentions Adapthealth, it is a subsidiary company of Aerocare that provides the supplies. It's the same company.)
