Do NOT use this company!!!! They lost my mothers personal bag with her cell phone, charger and FALSE TEETH!!! They dont answer their phone. We have been calling for 10 days and no answer. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY read more

The service is chronically late, especially if picking up from a doctor to get you home. My typical waits over the last 15 months have been anywhere from a half hour to two hours and, according to some of the drivers, 2 and a half to 3 hour delays are not atypical. (I should feel lucky?) When I'm leaving a retinologist, practically blind in both eyes, in a wheelchair, it's not like I can walk down to the roadside and flag down a taxi. I've heard from drivers, not wanting to be blamed for the delay, that they were assigned my pick up 10 minutes before schedule --when they were a half hour to 40 minutes away from my location. My opinion of the company, based on my experiences, is that it is poorly run and has dispatchers who have no idea how to properly provide for their customer's needs. It's a shame because the drivers themselves are quite courteous and apologetic for Aero's shortcomings. I feel sorry them. read more

one star, only because I can't leave ZERO! April 2021 - I hired and PAID Aero Ambulance to take my father to Valley Hospital by ambulance for a CAT scan, due to recent brain surgery. They were to wait for him (these visits usually take 5-10 minutes) and from there they were to take him to his neurologist. Instead, they left!!! My father sat in a wheelchair in the lobby at Valley Hospital for 3 hours!! No cell phone, no walker, no food, no water, alone. I thought he was back at his apartment until his Dr called, concerned that he didn't show up! Stay away from this company! They are completely incompetent! read more

NO STARS!!!! Consistently late after using them 2x recently. Awful service, always always late. AND no excuses , just bullsh--t. NEVER USE THEM! read more

We had such a great experience with Aero. I need transport for father in a wheelchair from hospital to nursing home. The driver was timely, patient and careful while transporting my father. The van was cleaned top to bottom which is so very important during COVID-19 and he wore masks and gloves (as did my father). It was a smooth experience for a stressful event. I highly recommend this company. The woman I made arrangements with over the phone was also lovely and helpful. read more

Horrible, Horrible, service!!! SO FAST to call you up to get payment for transport BUT, you will wait for them to come get you loved one. 2 hours, 3 hours, maybe 4 hours!!!!!!! Ridiculous that your loved one is left waiting after their appointment at a Dr.s office is done for 2 hours to be picked up. Though the driver and the company will have every excuse in the book of why they are late!!! You Are better off finding a way to get your family member where they need to go.. Totally INEXCUSABLE when you are paying GOOD money for them to transport you!!! $40.00 plus $4.00 for each mile!!! Total rip off for a NOT dependable service!!!!!!!!! Look elsewhere if you care about your family!!!!!!!! Beware, don't use them!!!!!!! read more

I've had the pleasure of using this service twice in 2021 in the transport of a convalescing relative. Arriving on time, these technicians were competent and efficient in their work while maintaining an upbeat, caring attitude not only toward me but especially to the patient. I highly recommend Aero Ambulance, and special thanks to James and Anthony who helped in a time of need. read more

Aero was referred by a nurse we met. They claim 24x7 service, which is a nice feature. My dad is in a wheelchair, and he needed an 8-mile round-trip ride from home to Hackensack Hospital. The ambulance assistant arrived 30 minutes early, but we had to wait for the main driver with the van. He arrived on-time. They installed a "seat belt" similar to an airline seat belt but not as secure. However, it was better than nothing. The wheelchair was tied down like how tow trucks tie-down a car. The front wheels and back wheels are locked with metal clamps. They also accommodated me by waiting at the destination because I had to follow in my car and park separately. The return trip was not as smooth. When we were ready to leave, they said they needed 45 minutes. 45 minutes later at 5pm, we were waiting at the hospital lobby. I called them multiple times for their arrival time. Each time, they said 5 - 15 minutes each time. Well, we sat in the lobby area for an additional 60 minutes total (1 hr 45 min) without counting the drive time home. The delay was caused by highway traffic. My dad was exhausted from the return trip. It would have been better to have known the true ETA, than reassuring us the van was always close by when it wasn't. read more

This place apparently has a monopoly on medical transport and absolutely no compassion or morals. My disabled father has had to use them and it's always bad, but he has no choice. Numerous appointments have had to be rescheduled because they come hours late. He's waited to be picked up from appointments for hours in the rain despite estimates of "30 minutes" over the phone. They are downright abusive and the owner is a disgusting human being for having zero compassion and still taking people's money. My family will be reporting them to the BBB and anywhere else we can because he is stealing money for barely providing services. I hope one day he has to rely on other people and understands what that is like. read more

I had read the yelp reviews, and was a little worried when my mother needed to be transported to Englewood Hospital and Medical Center from rehab for an MRI. I shouldn't have been worried at all. These professionals were great! They brought my mom on time to the registration area, where I met them. My mom is a demanding customer and she said that the ride was smooth, the transporter was friendly and helpful. On the pick up, The transporter went out of his way to find us, because I had neglected to give the dispatcher our exact location in the hospital. I was so impressed, I took his name - Dave Pinterri was efficient and friendly. It was clear he treated my mom the way he would have wanted his own mother treated. Simply great I can honestly recommend them very highly. read more

Don't even know where to start!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! My mom is a dialysis patient who uses this service three times a week going and coming. She has been injured 3 times due to the drivers. The first time they brought the wrong vehicle ( she is in a wheel chair) the driver cut her leg trying to get her in the van was bleeding profusely. Due to this incident and the wound not healing her surgeries had to be postponed two times, this procedure was critical for her dialysis treatments. So what happens this week, another driver picked her up from dialysis and her arm was not inside the wheelchair as they brought her through the door, resulting in a gash on her arm, she was brought back in the dialysis facility where they proceeded to bandage the wound. Still no results from the insurance companies and when I spoke with the owner he told me the drivers were fired. No compassion what so ever not even an I'm sorry. There are other more reputable companies I would not want others to have to go through what my disabled mom has been put through. read more

Never heard of them until I received a notice of Claim Denied from Medicare regarding services provided to my aunt on October 10, 2015. The little detail of import here is that my aunt passed away six years ago. Nuff said? read more

These people are in the wrong industry!!! Last Tuesday I called to arrange a ride. I told the man who answered that I needed a ride for my terminally ill brother so he can visit his oncologist. So, what was the first thing he said to me? "HOW WILL YOU BE PAYING FOR THIS? This was a cold, insensitive way to start a customer relationship. How about...." I'm sorry to hear about your brother's situation. Let's review some details and hopefully we can help". Shame, Shame on them! read more

The driver was very unprofessional. Patient was post surgery and had to wait an additional 30-45 minutes because the driver did not want to wait for her to be wheeled out of a patient room into the waiting room. I would never want my loved one to be transported by this service. read more

Had a pleasant experience with my first ambulette ride. Had a 2pm appointment to NYC and the driver was courteous and friendly. Got me to my appointment on time. read more

Very very cold and impersonal! All they care about is getting paid! Will not take the effort to contact and speak to the caregiver (family) to discuss protocol and cost before services rendered! Their story fits their narrative! With this company the customers are never right! read more

I REALLY SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO YELP. My dad was picked up at 4:30 from Cresskill, for my daughter's wedding in Brooklyn. The driver using his GPS (albeit not well) got off the GW Bridge on Amsterdam Av (instead of Harlem River Driver) Went down to 125, over to Triboro Bridge, into the Bronx? Then he turned around, taking the bridge again, heading towards JFK. If my 93 yr old father-who can barely see, had not directed him off Grand Central Parkway thru Queens to Brooklyn, they might still be driving around. I felt awful. By the time they arrived, just in time for group picture, (but barely) he was so upset and angry, he couldn't calm down to enjoy his granddaughters wedding. The driver not only didn't speak English, he couldn't read it either. I'm only giving 2 * cause the trip home seemed to have been more direct routing. read more

Wouldn't use this service. With no emergency, the driver tailgated me (less than one car length) and even honked when there was no where to go. Do you train your drivers? Do you know how to drive safely? I think not! I would not allow any of my family members in any one of these ambulances. I don't think they will make it to their destinations alive! read more
