Fredy was an absolute Godsend this week! My friend was transiting her wheelchair-bound father to NY from FL to transfer into a local nursing home. We didn't know what we were going to do about transport from JFK back to Staten Island and then found Fredy and SempeRide. Due to all the hurricane activity, flights were delayed and Fredy PERSONALLY did the job, picking them up at midnight after 4 hours' worth of delays. Their medical transport vehicle was perfect for their needs and, having called a number of similar companies, SempeRide was by far the most reasonable rate - clearly they are not looking to take advantage of people with special requirements. Her father is a Vet, as is Fredy, and it is clear that is well respected in this company's philosophy. My thanks to Fredy who ended a very stressful trip in a very professional and kind way. Our family recently needed transportation from the Manhattan Cruise Ship Terminal to the Newark airport, and while I was reviewing the various limo services in the NYC area, I discovered Semperide. When I learned that the owner, Fredy Tello, was a retired Marine and started his company by providing transportation to military veterans and their families, I knew this was a company I wanted to support. The online reservation process was simple and easy to use. Fredy picked me and my parents up at our home--it was the first time in 10 years that my dad was to go out of the house for anything other than for his medical checkups. After much research into trying to find a RELIABLE car service in NYC, I came across SempeRide and decided to try them. It was A+ from the first email, in which Fredy was good enough to answer all my questions and provided me with a quote. Our trip was to include a few days in the city, back & forth from JFK; to NY Port Authority; to & from hotels, and some sight seeing. Fredy was in contact with me and provided the most fair and economical fee for our trips. He texted me prior to us arriving at JFK and while waiting for grandchildren to arrive, he kept in contact, (thru text), until he met us right outside Terminal 4. I have recently worked with SempeRide organizing transportation for a large group of guests attending our film festival, and I cannot emphasize enough what amazing service and care we have received. I read about SempeRide on cruise critic and my family and extended family (party of 8) were taking a cruise leaving from the Manhattan Cruise Port but wanted to stay in NJ prior to the cruise. I talked to Fredy when I was booking the transportation and he was extremely kind & helpful. He instantly emailed my confirmation and also a contact number. The day of the cruise, he called 30 minutes before to check in and as we needed two cars both drivers arrived early. The cars were spotless and the drivers very nice and professional (the first day we got Fredy). When we returned to port we got though customs much more quickly than anticipated and when I called the drivers they picked us up earlier than scheduled even though it was Easter Sunday! We needed accessible transportation to/from JFK. After researching various companies we decided on Semperide. It was the right decision. Freddy and his team are committed to passenger safety and satisfaction. They are professional, courteous and respectful. Their vans are well maintained and clean and roomy to fit 2 adults, one person in a wheelchair and 4 large pieces of luggage. Freddy and his team were on time (and as anyone knows, that is a necessity when catching a flight) and very personable. Today was my 2nd time using SempeRide. This company is top notch and very reliable. Each time I have had a great experience. After dealing with some car services where they don't come on time or their cars aren't clean or comfortable. This is not the case with SempeRide. Freddy runs a top notch service. They are on time and reliable and they give you a call 15 minutes prior to your pick up time to let you know they are on the way or if they might be delayed because of traffic. Our experience with SempeRide was top notch. We used this service to take us from Newark airport to midtown Manhattan at the end of April 2018. My daughter and I needed a reliable and comfortable ride from JFK to Newark airport upon our arrival from Singapore. Upon landing in the US, I received a polite text message from Eddie, stating that he will be our driver today and he is waiting for us outside. Our family arrived in New York and our grandmother had a fall right off of the airplane. She had to get medical care and we had to tell Jamie from the car service that we would be late and had no idea how long it would be. This was the first time I used this company and they were fantastic! The company I normally use was getting expensive for the frequency that I needed to go to/from the airport and that I send a car for family members. SempeRide was friendly, professional, and really fairly priced. I did the meet-and-greet add on service because the pick up was for my mom, whose older. I thought it would be nice for someone to go into the airport and be waiting to help with bags. She loved Fredy, the owner, who picked her up. He was also really great during the reservation process.
