First, I would like to say that Carol is very generous and kind. I met her when I attended a fashion show fundraiser for a community organization. I told her that I was looking for a stylist, and she immediately said that she would be happy to help me. Carol, and the other 2 women that work for her, were extremely helpful, as were the other customers. This is not your typical store. There was actual camaraderie amongst everyone in the store. Everyone supported one another. Opinions were honest and uplifting, whether it was Carol, her staff, or the other customers. In appreciation for the large purchase that I made, Carol offered me a free item. When I asked if I could donate it to an animal rescue, for use in a fundraiser, she told me that she would give me a second item, so that I could donate one and keep the other. The clothing line at Carol's Creations is very unique. You will not find mass-produced items here, and that is a huge part of the appeal to me. Everything is high quality, and I expect it to last. I am happy that I was able to find clothing that is flattering and different. Anything you purchase here will make you look your best, and you will not look like all of the other people in the room. If you want to find beautiful clothes and friendly, helpful, sales associates, this is the place to go.

I'm a big thrifter and am used to the quality found at secondhand shops, but a higher amount of ripped, stained, and flawed items seemed to be out on the floor than usual. They were starting to clean 15 minutes before close and left big swept broom piles of dirt and trash everywhere for customers to have to walk through. I will say that the staff that checked me out was exceptionally friendly and personable, much more so than you usually find at a thrift shop. Other staffers were walking around shouting at people that they were closing soon though, which was rude and off-putting. Seems like a better solution would be a loud speaker announcement. A+ to the young man at the cash registers though, he was so nice it made this experience much more positive than it would have been otherwise.

I brought in 2 dresses that had matching bolero style jackets. Again I stopped in to see how they were priced. Both dresses were on the rack for sale missing the bolero jackets. I questioned the salesperson on duty telling her that these were my consigned items and the jackets were missing. Response was "oh they sometimes get misplaced.". She did locate one of the jackets and promised to look for the other. I returned several weeks later the jacket was still not found. So my experience was horrible.
