We ask that shirts be tucked in to maintain a level of professionalism that our club/courses deserve. We, as members, also include children observe this rule. Regarding the disposal of cigar/cigarettes....because some people don't always recognize the importance of this, it is noted as a friendly reminder, not to try to treat anyone as a child. (We also highly discourage children not to smoke cigars/cigarettes, just in case that was in question). This is a great club, with phenomenal courses, accompanied by a wonderful staff....and in light of having an excellent, proven, professional new club owner......I can't imagine any negative comments from anyone that would be a good fit to join us.

We went ahead with the wedding because we were basically beheld to them because we were too far along to cancel. This was the rudest group of women that acted very immature for their customer service-oriented position in the club. Give you examples, you say: "We are not on the Knot because that site attracts budget brides." was said after asking why they don't have good reviews in the Knot. "My job is not in customer service and I do not believe the customer is always right." was said after asking why the events coordinator team was being so rude to us. The golf club of Georgia events coordinator revenue Director asked us to drop our check off to the teenager at the pro shop that we were writing for $11,300. We had to or we would get a talking to, so we did. We brought our Wedding Coordinator for a tour and every time our Wedding Coordinator, or we would ask a question about any part of the ceremony or reception, they would respond with " that is never happened before so you don't need to worry about it." they would proceed to the next subject and never answer the question. During the actual wedding, *They cut 5 guests off that had only had one drink because they had a slight speech impediment. *They only put out 134 PLATES FOR THE BUFFET because "that's how many GUESTS WE HAD". *They told me we ran out of food and the father of the bride went to the back and the staff was eating our food! So on and so on...this place is a bridal nightmare!

The course was in need of some upgrading under the old ownership and that is still the case under the new owners. You can see where they are painting the Clubhouse and getting some sand added to the traps. There are a two greens that are near impossible to putt on making our groups take automatic 2 putts. Course maintenance is sorely lacking due to the low points in the fairways and most sand traps being full of leaves and piles of sand. At this point it is not worth anywhere near the one hundred dollar green fee. The cart paths will rattle you're brain. Everyone that we came in contact with was very hospitable. The bar and table service was excellent for our group. The guys cleaning and taking our golf clubs to the bag drop were excellent as well. Hope they get it together for next year.

Nichole made sure everything ran so smoothly, like I even forgot I hired a caricature artist until someone reminded me Nichole had set him up on the terrace. They have a private bridal suite in the women's locker room ground level and a men's locker room upstairs. The decor is elegant and perfect for mood lighting. The food was amazing! The chef knows what he's doing and has such good recipes. You must go with the Asian steak. The lemon drops from the bar are excellent as well. We got beautiful lakeside photos and got to ride around in golf carts and my husband never drove one before so that was a journey. The wild rice pilaf, Asian steak & gorgonzola salad were my favorites. We also had salmon, rolls, and prime rib on our menu and mixed veggies and scalloped potatoes. Plus apps like beef wellington, crab cakes and coconut shrimp. I am a brand new golfer, and have been incredibly pleased with how quickly I've developed under Jun's direction. I was apprehensive when I began taking lessons because I was intimidated with the complexity of the game, but Jun started with the basics and broke everything down so I could understand what the swing is supposed to look like. The best part about Baraban's is that all of the motions are videoed while you practice, and the instructor can play each swing back on the monitor so you see what you did right or wrong....and can show you what needs to be corrected. I can't imagine hitting balls on the range and just guessing what needs to be fixed if something isn't working right.
