It's just one big open room with equipment laid out. There's a few chairs around the room and Sam (the head trainer and owner) has a podium at the front to do any admin things like paperwork. The workout: There were about 5 other women there for the session that day and we started just a couple minutes after 9 am with a core warmup. this session was called "open gym" so the two trainers created different stations throughout the room including weighted squats, a bench press, ropes, etc. Kinda like boot camp drills. There were about 10 different total small workouts and every attendee was supposed to complete 15 reps of each activity 3 times. It. Was. A. Workout. Trainers/environment: super fun environment. Music is loud and hype which makes these kinds of workouts more fun! Trainer Sam and her other trainer seemed to know everyone super personally which is awesome. They walked around and continued to fix your form and push a workout until you hit your best. The other ladies were also super friendly. By the end, I was a sweaty mess but felt good. The morning after is here, and it feels like someone's put a ton of bricks on parts of my body but rest assured, the soreness means it worked! $$: I came to this through classpass so I thought it was worth it but not sure if I'd pay full price for a subscription! I've added a photo of prices! Cheers!

I first came on a 1 month $99 special. I wanted to wait to write my review until I had been going…read morefor at least a month to have a full understanding of the place. Well, 2.5 months later and I'm still here! Here's my breakdown: Parking- ample, they share a lot with several other businesses Cost- Pricey. Be prepared to spend $150-200 per month depending on your package (longer commitment= lower monthly cost). I think month to month is over $200. Trainers- there's about 4-5 core trainers that rotate so you'll get to experience a bootcamp with everyone. Of course personal preference will lead you to prefer some a little more than others, but I really do think they're all good. I'm slightly partial to Katie and Ricardo because they both are super sweet, have great energy, and give me that extra push in the form of an extra weight or racing me so I pick up the pace. The Workout- I've been active and athletic my entire life. I prefer athlete based workouts and I find that Burn fulfills this desire. If something is too slow or "cutesy" I get bored. Now, there are a range of fitness levels that attend so you can also modify and go at your own pace. Workouts for the week are posted on their Instagram every Sunday so you can know what's ahead. I love that they mix them up so if you can never come on a particular day, that doesn't mean you'll never get a particular workout. For example, leg day can be Monday this week and Wednesday next week. Also, they have camps all day long starting at 5am and the last one is 6:30pm so it can work with your schedule. Slight con is that because they don't use barbells or machines, sometimes it's hard to go up to the weight you want simply because you struggle to hold the dumbbells (i.e. I can use heavier weights for my legs than what I can hold in my hand for an extended period). Other Attendees- In general I find everyone to be cordial. I saw another review mention it felt clicky. There are a few times I have gone and felt there were certain groups that were clicky, but it's never been so bad that it deterred me from going. And it was an opportunity to talk to another person also outside of the click. I've gone to camps at all different times- 8:30am, 9:45am, Noon, 4:30pm, 5:30pm, and 6:30pm. Each time has its own personality. Front Desk Staff- Always friendly!

I had a summer membership a year ago and was charged a monthly fee several months after the membership ended. Took a long time for them to reconcile and refund my money. Prior to this, I went to a 'regular' gym with machines and weights. BBC is a combination of strength and high intensity interval training. However, they do not use machines. There are plenty of equipment (weights, ropes, bands, medicine balls, etc) to help target every muscle group. There are currently 9 different camp times offered during the week and three morning classes on Saturdays. They are closed on Sundays. Each camp is 45 minutes long and challenging. You could even say intense... but in a good way! Of all my on-again off-again years of working out, I've never sweat or have been challenged like I do during a camp at BBC. It feels amazing! Burn Boot Camp Cumming is more than a gym, it's a community. I know that sounds cheesy, but it's true. Their team is super helpful and friendly, and they go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The trainers are very knowledgeable and will give you the right push to reach your potential. They often use the phrase, "let it burn." And boy does it burn so good. They will also make modifications if you have an injury but still want to participate. Focus meetings are included in the packages. I wish I had taken advantage of this sooner. The trainers will give you a nutritional plan that's doable to help you achieve your goals. I've only started to see REAL results after going to focus meetings. As a member, you get free childcare and access to the private Facebook community group. Right now, virtual workouts are offered and shared on the Facebook group. BBC likes to spice things up every now and then by adding challenges throughout the year. Commit2Fit is a popular one. It's actually what got me to sign up. It's 4 weeks of unlimited camps for $99. I tried it in September 2019 and have been hooked ever since. I'm thankful for Burn Boot Camp Cumming today and everyday!
