This is one of two LA Fitnesses we choose to be consistent at in the ATL region after trying various gyms. It's one of the most updated locations and has the largest variety of equipment for abdominal workouts. Things you should know: I. PARKING There's a large public parking lot out front. It gets packed at rush hour times so if you arrive around that time, expect to park far out and walk. Knock out your cardio for the day lol II. SERVICE They do a fairly good job at up keeping/cleaning the facility compared to other locations. I like that you can't smell the chlorine from the pool when you walk in ~ means they actually clean it. III. QUALITY There's no televisions hanging from the ceilings for the second floor cardio; however, the treadmills have individual TVs. The signal is bad & the screens have static on every channel. So, I wouldn't count on them for a quality distraction from the torture you volunteer your lungs through. They have a matted area for stretching and pilates. Not all the gyms have this so take advantage. IV. CAPACITY Busy at rush hour times. But what gym isn't? Lunch hours and weekends are less crowded. Do what works for you.

20171118 @ 0945. LAFit - Gym is on the corner of the shopping plaza. Parking is shared w/ other biz and so not a private lot for guests. I suppose that's when U try to beat the Saturday morning crowds so U don't have to drive 3-4x around the lot. Children's DayKare to Ur left upon entrance to the lobby. Mbrshp office space, smoothie bar (not open yet), four racquet ball courts, aerobic rm, spin rm w/ three rows of bikes & then the pool. The main area has weights & machines. 2d floor dedicated to cardio machines. Bathrms were clean. No trash on the deck & vanity offers hand towels on both sides, but this morning- it's only avail on the left side of the vanity. This location is set up exactly like Cobb Prkwy. Found a dinosaur but a machine that is a needed addition to NE gym;-)

This is just like every other LA Fitness except the equipment is updated as it a bit newer than other locations. Other than that, not much has changed. The staff is so so when they're not trying to bother you with a promotion or trying to sign you up for a personal trainer. Also I would just sign for the gym online. You won't be able to get much of any deal if you are there in person trying to join. The gym can get rather busy after work from like 5-8PM. Before and after that you should be okay. Overall it's an okay gym, I'm still able to get a good workout in whenever I go and thats really all I'm looking for in a gym. Some people are a bit more picky. If you can get a decent deal I would join. It's not as expensive as other gyms like Lifetime Fitness and if you get the nationwide access you'll be able to go to any of the locations to workout, I know I've definitely taken advantage of that.

watch judge judy while i get in shape? uh YEAH.

THE gym for serious lifters. You will not find many people here on the treadmill trying to sweat…read moreout a few xmas pounds. You will instead find competitive lifters working on their bench, squat, and deadlift. Quest has so much to offer I'm going to review it from several different angles: Gym Equipment Truly top notch. Lots of bars and weights for the big lifts. Excellent machines with some great machines you don't find in the average gym. Lots of simple but essential items like stretching bands and foam rollers. The cardio section is adequate for a warmup. Nutrition Quest sells some great nutrition products such as whey powder. Most of their product line comes in 3 flavors: Cinnamon (their best, and is fantastic), Chocolate (very good, not too sweet, tastes more like cocoa, and Vanilla (too sweet). The prices per pound for their products is VERY competitive. For Sale Equipment If you're looking to stock your own home gym, come into Quest. They are very knowledgeable on equipment from simple to expensive, and will be happy to answer any questions. Cleanliness - - There are very few truly clean gyms, and this is not one of them. There's a lot of dust throughout the gym, and the bathrooms are a little gross. Luckily, all the workout machines kept clean. This is much better than typical LA Fitness etc where every piece of gear is covered in a layer of God-knows-how-many bodily fluids. Trainers Quest has some VERY high-end professional trainers. If you want to get into powerlifting, you can't do any better than Josh Rohr. Robert Autry is also a great trainer.

I've been training at CS&F for over 6 years and I wouldn't be a member this long if I didn't believe in what this gym offers to the community. CS&F has evolved from a 'traditional crossfit gym', to a safer, more approachable, sustainable, and more recoverable training methodology that is taught today. That does not mean the training here isn't challenging... on the contrary, if you're consistent in training, you will get stronger! We are consistently celebrating the progress of our members that accomplish physical and personal achievements. All of the coaches are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, understanding, and will listen and adapt training for individual needs. Being a Strongfirst accredited gym - the coaches have had extensive training and certifications on kettlebell, bodyweight, and barbell courses (amongst other many certifications and trainings). This education is taught directly to the students, so you're learning how to train effectively and safely. Anybody can feel safe training here and I highly recommend this gym if you want to get stronger and healthier.
