Two years after the owner canceled my membership because I raised privacy concerns she sent 250 dollars to collections. Apparently I should have paid to be banned from a gym. She is in breach of contract on the card agreement and as a result fraud for the collections claim is alleged. This is criminal like behavior. Do not go here. read more

This Anytime Fitness is super clean and well kept. I would guess that the management here is above average, not a plate out of place, with no "fine" warnings posted for not returning them to their home (Cumming location). Nicest showers of any of the locations. Very small free weight area, best for quick workout or light days. This location feels more like a well equipped hotel fitness room then an "Iron Man's" gym, so you might miss the feeling of a hot, sweaty, dirty gym. Okay, so this review is for anyone who is considering joining this shit hole! I have remained a customer of lifetime fitness and LA fitness, and respectfully exited when the pandemic stuck without having any sort of problem. Later my company wanted me to join a gym which is very close to my house, since I work from home. This place was the closest. The membership dues were paid by my company. I enrolled for one year. But lately in July 2022 my project got over and they laid me off. I could no longer pay for the membership because now I don't have a job. I called the lady and asked for a forbearance. I was also going to have an abdominal surgery on August 15, 2022, following which I couldn't do any kind of hard exercises. Considering all this I asked them to grant me a forbearance. The lady said she would talk to the owner and give me a call back within the same day. Nobody called me! After five days I called them back and this time the owner Renee Foster answered my call. She was least interested in my job loss or my upcoming surgery and was hell-bent to 'freeze' my membership till I was ready to come back which I explained that I do not know if I could come back anytime in this year or next because of my recovery and later finding a job being on a work visa! She was least interested in that and in a smug/racist tone said 'oh I am sorry that you may have to go back to India!' and asked me to pay the remainder of the membership deals which was $88. I told her I would write a check for that amount but would like to come and give it to her in person. She gave me a cheesy smile and said she is normally very busy to meet and that I would have to take a prior appointment, which I did for this upcoming Monday. Out of the few times that I have visited this gym I got a very racist vibe here. Equipments were outdated and very limited in number. Although, my remaining membership fee is not a very big amount but it certainly is a kind gesture when a customer is telling them that she has lost her job and has an upcoming surgery. This is the most racist, insensitive, and below average, outdated gym that I have ever taken a membership of. read more

This AF location has lots of stuff in a very small gym. The place is spotlessly clean with nicely appointed individual restrooms and showers. The cardio and strength training machines are all Precor and are well maintained . The cardio equipment all have personal televisions ; and the strength training machines are sufficient in number to cover all the muscle groups. This gym does not have a dedicated room for classes nor do they have a bank of spin bikes for spin classes. They do not have a great deal of space for free weight but they do have punching bags. This is probably the smallest AF location I have visited and it is probably the cleanest. read more

I originally was pleased with Anytime Fitness but in a rare event, they've dropped to 1 star even though I haven't been a customer in years. About two years after leaving the gym as a member (because I moved), I received an email from a new trainer hawking programs. The problem was this: he Cc'd EVERYONE. This gym gave him access to EVERY member (current or past) and let him email them from his personal gmail account. This is BEYOND unprofessional. So, if you'd like your personal information used by anyone (including trainers) to be used in any way they want to, then this is the gym for you. Not a bad gym, but not what I was looking for either. 4 stars because it's very clean, you really have everything you need, and it's pretty convenient (24/7 access). I docked a star because I wasn't a huge fan of the cost (college student budget!) and that the vibe of Anytime wasn't the vibe I was going for (that of a larger gym, #grind vibe). I've been a member with this Anytime Fitness for a year now. I have visited a few other AF locations around town and can honestly say this is my favorite one. The location is by far the cleanest and most well maintained gym I've been to. For the amount of machinery and weights at the location, the membership fees are reasonable. You can also pay a little extra to use their tanning beds. The cardio equipment and assisted weight machines are all Precor brand and are very well maintained-which I attribute not only to the great staff, but also to other clientele. Overall, I have extremely satisfied with this AF and will continue to support them with my business. read more

Extremely clean, the classes are good the staff is amazing! Over all the management are committed to their customers. The equipment is easy to use. The trainers are always around to assist you and they are all over qualified in my opinion great group of guys. I can't say enough about how well maintained this location is. I've been a member of anytime fitness for 6 or 7 years now. I drive a little out of my way to workout at this particular club. The owners John and Renae do an incredible job of keeping the place looking great and in good repair. New large equipment is voted on and shows up at least once year; they are always willing to provide a solution if there is something you need. They have graciously worked with me in times of financial difficulty. One evening I was having trouble with my key and they came to the club at 3 in the morning to help resolve the issue. Trainers Scott and Justin are outstanding as well, extremely valuable advise is available at any time. Very welcoming, personable well experienced guys. Lots of regulars make for an at home feel; great balance of social atmosphere and results oriented actions. Absolutely outstanding!! Thank you guys! read more

I was a member here for a year when they first opened. I really have nothing bad to say about it, I think it's a good deal for the price you pay. I have been a member of many gyms and if you are looking for Lifetime this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for something clean, affordable, and close to home this may be a good match. PROS: *VERY clean. They have wipes at every workout area and have signs that encourage people to wipe after each use. *There are 2 bathrooms and both are very clean, modern, and have a stand up shower. *There was about 5 treadmills, 1 stair climber, 6 ellipticals most with TVs and in great condition. *There are weight machines and free weights in all sizes and shapes for men and women. There was a nice variety and included dumbbells, barbells ("straight and wavy"...don't know the technical term, sorry), kettlebells, round weights for the barbells, and medicine balls. *I contracted membership at $38 a month and had it on auto debit for a year with the down payment a little over $100. I signed that my membership wouldn't be raise more than $5 the signed amount no matter what which I thought was nice. **OPEN 24 HOURS, best part. *They have an automatic lock door and a fast security call button. *You can go to any Anytime Fitness location to work out. *Offered personal training that appeared affordable and was used by many members. They were always nice to me even though I didn't train with them. *Offers tanning onsite for a little more on your membership. Con: *The weight area is too small. Anything more than 2 people was a crowd if not careful. * They offer no classes. I knew this going in, but any group would be nice :) I didn't mean to write a book, but I like to be thorough in my reviews. I love this ANYTIME!!! They have been nothing short of awesome. The managers are friendly and accommodating while the gym itself is clean with a good layout. It has a more that adequate free weight area and the machines are all in great shape. It's somewhat spacious and never seems to be packed. Please do not waste your time or money. They will continue to charge you long after you think your membership is up. This gym has old equipment, and people never wipe down the equipment when finished. There is an orange theory fitness, LA fitness, etc. right down the street. I joined trying to get into shape and lose some weight. The owner helped me get started and showed me some exercises I could do to strengthen my back. I have been having low back pain and knee pain. This was getting to be a problem and I don't want to live with pain so I decided to do something about it because surgery wasn't an option. I didn't know to much about working out so I was really kind of lost as to where to start. I told him about my back and he showed me some exercises to help strengthen the back muscles. The suggestion that really has worked for me has been the workouts and the chiropractor he suggested that would help. It was really cool because I got help that I needed. The girl that signed me up told me that if I needed help all's I had to do was ask. I was glad I decided to ask because they took the time to really show me what to do and they seemed more than happy to answer the questions I had. I was really impressed. Everything has been awesome since joining in December, not only have I actually lost weight I even feel better and my back problems are getting better. read more
