Here is why: He balances a welcoming atmosphere with serious fitness exercises. Without any prior experience, I found myself comfortably swinging around old school russian-style kettlebells and deadlifting free weights. He provides flexible workout plans. We began a dual-person training program that enabled us to work almost one on one with Scott while not struggling with the cost of two separate personal training programs. He really knows what he is doing. When we started, I was very out of shape with knee and back problems. After a few months, my wife became pregnant. Scott was able to carefully increase the intensity of my workout while at the same time adjusting hers as her physical abilities shifted.

I've been training at CS&F for over 6 years and I wouldn't be a member this long if I didn't believe in what this gym offers to the community. CS&F has evolved from a 'traditional crossfit gym', to a safer, more approachable, sustainable, and more recoverable training methodology that is taught today. That does not mean the training here isn't challenging... on the contrary, if you're consistent in training, you will get stronger! We are consistently celebrating the progress of our members that accomplish physical and personal achievements. All of the coaches are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, understanding, and will listen and adapt training for individual needs. Being a Strongfirst accredited gym - the coaches have had extensive training and certifications on kettlebell, bodyweight, and barbell courses (amongst other many certifications and trainings). This education is taught directly to the students, so you're learning how to train effectively and safely. Anybody can feel safe training here and I highly recommend this gym if you want to get stronger and healthier.

Life Time in Lawrenceville is very conveniently located, just a short distance from both my church…read moreand home. I enjoy coming here regularly for swimming and strength training. One thing I've noticed is that the facility is constantly undergoing renovations. Since the beginning of this year, they have renovated the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and men's locker room, and now the women's locker room is being updated as well. While it's good to see continuous improvements, the ongoing construction can sometimes feel inconvenient and is a reminder that the facility is aging. My experiences with the staff have been mixed. Some employees are friendly and helpful, while others come across as less welcoming. One incident in particular left a disappointing impression. I accidentally left my phone at the Life Cafe table and realized it after I had already left the gym. When I returned, a young staff member asked to see my membership card. I explained that my membership information was on the phone I had left inside, but despite the obvious situation, he refused to let me enter without an ID. Even after explaining multiple times that I was simply trying to retrieve my phone, he continued insisting on identification. It felt like common sense and flexibility were missing in that moment. Another concern is the membership cost. I currently pay more than $180 per month, which is quite expensive. At that price point, I believe members naturally expect not only quality facilities but also consistently professional and understanding customer service. Despite these frustrations, I still appreciate the convenience of the location and the overall amenities the gym provides.

My family and I have been loyal members to this specific location for more than 20 years and…read morestarting today if i could give this a zero star rating i would. The experience i had today with a member and the employee was honestly like no other. Currently they are having renovation done in the ladies locker room so they had us go to the family locker room. When i finished my shower i stepped out to grab lotion and finish getting ready for work. Well this particular member who i have never seen before starts off with an attitude saying "are you done"". i tell her nicely not yet I'm getting lotion. She then proceeds to tell me "what am i doing out the locker room if I'm not even finished". I was so confused where her attitude was coming from so i asked her why are you being rude? She then proceeds to come at me saying I'm the example of what people shouldn't do?? She also calls me names like "midget" and little girl" etc. I ask her what her problem because I'm genuinely lost where the attitude is coming from if I'm being nice to her? then she puts her hand in my face so that's where she crossed the line with me and that's when i complained to the front desk workers of what happened, an employee named Mai or May who is typically in the front desk area comes with me so i can point out the lady. I started to get overwhelmed while explaining and the lady tells me to "stop crying" and how "my tears aren't necessary"?? after she almost hit me. I walked back out to the front desk area to cool down and Mai comes out saying how i started the argument and how i shouldn't have taken long because bathrooms were limited which I didn't even take more than 20 minutes getting ready also there was no sign saying you are limited this amount of time to shower and get ready so I was in fact allowed to take my time. I've always respected rules and regulations at all times but there was nothing present saying i needed to be done under a certain amount of time and the fact the employee sided with her not even hearing my side made me beyond disappointed and mistreated really shows the type of employees they're hiring to work there. Keep in mind I'm a 20 year old women and this lady was probably in her 50s-60s. Words cant describe how disappointed i am with the way i was treated by this employee Mai, knowing how this lady made me cry and mistreated me which she saw with her own eyes too how rude this lady was with me. This definitely makes me view lifetime much differently moving forward so I hope you guys start choosing your employees better.
