We took our Suv for a check up before our weekend getaway to Lake Tahoe to snowboard. We ended up paying a little over $1000. We thought everything was good until our Suv over heated as soon as we started the car. We were up the mountain and it was snowing. We almost got stranded all 7 of us including 2babies and 2 kids. I had to ask strangers to give me a ride to the nearest rental company that was closing in 20minutes. My sister in law had to ask for a ride to get another rental car because no rental company has a 7 seater car. The problem was when they replaced the radiator they didnt put back the plug properly. The reason I didnt write a review because they gave us a store credit for future repairs. I took my other car for brake pads replacement. They told me that i also needed to replace my Suspension spring coil. So i did. I used my store credit. After they replace everything, i felt vibration everytime I stepped on my brakes. I complained 3 times and they told me that I just needed to break it in (break pads). So, I did drive my car for two weeks and my car got worst. I took it back and I told them they have to fix whatever damaged they did to my car. My car was not vibrating before I took it to their shop. I had to call them everyday just to remind them the damaged they did to my cars. So, they took my car in and fixed it for free. They said that they had to call the Audi deaership to ask questions about my car problem and order some parts. They were able to fix the problem. They told me that someone forgot to tighten up a screw and someone ruined the threading of my wheels. I don't know what they were talking about all I know that they ruined my cars and they don't know what they are doing. read more

Went to get my car serviced for an oil change. The technicians are courteous and helpful. Wonderful quality of service! Not only did they take care of my needs but they also inspected my car for additional maintenance that needs attention and made some recommendations and explained what needs to be serviced to help improve my car's performance. Plus, I received a courtesy water when I got into my car! Awesome place! TIP: be sure to schedule for an appointment. This place gets busy! read more

This is my second time going to Meineke. Both times I have gone I have received excellent customer service! It's bad enough when you dummy up your car, but my stress was reduced when I brought my car here. Even though there was a minor miscommunication somewhere, I had Jon provide professionalism when he was explaining the situation and helped me with my issue. I was never treated poorly and the resolve was amazing! Thank you Jon and i will be back. read more

Service was great, Zach Williams was professional and polite in helping me with my vehicle, even though it was just a simple service he made me feel like a king. THANK YOU!!! read more

This place is excellent. They guys at the front are really informative and keep you updated on your car. They let you know any problems or services you may need and prices are a lot cheaper than some mechanic shops i can think of. Excellent Shop i would definitely recommend any work you need to be done here. read more

They went above and beyond! We were on our way from SF to Tahoe when we heard a horrible sound coming from our 2007 Acura RDX. We immediately pulled off the highway and searched for the nearest car repair. We thankfully ended up at Meineke in Roseville. They quickly diagnosed the problem (which my Acura dealer failed to notice a week earlier) and repaired it at 5:00 on a Friday night when they could have easily turned us away since they close at 6:00. If it weren't for them, our weekend in Tahoe would never have happened. read more

David and Jonathan, are guys are my rock stars!!!! Great communication, outstanding service and fair prices. Thank you. ( I was worry about letting you guys my BWM; but no more.) read more

I went to this location this morning for an oil change which included a free tire rotation, fluid top off, brake check. It was my first time going to Meineke and my last. After I got my keys back and went to my vehicle, I noticed my tires were not rotated as promised. How do I know? I was smart to mark my tire with chalk, so I went back inside to complain to the employee (Zack). He confirmed that the technician (NM) did not rotate the tires. I am shocked that this particular place is dishonest and tried to rip me off. Please be smart and mark your tires, or ask for the old parts back ( for example: a cabin filter, etc ) for evidence that the job was actually done. Nothing surprises me anymore about what goes on out there. Thanks for reading and I hope this helps. read more

This place is awesome! Everyone who works here is such a great customer service. I came in for oil change and they did extra service with no charge. read more

I went for an oil change. Made an appt. Started out well, but gradually lost stars as they were unable to fulfill their promises. For example,"this should be fast...30-45mins." Came back in 45 mins and they were just starting. Then finally I pay and thy say,"they will bring your car right out." 20mins later, no car. I ask the guy about it and he abruptly tells me, "yeah, they're putting oil in it now." I was going to give them high marks, but they blew it. Cheap though. Only $20. Addendum: after I wrote this the manager saw I was disappointed and gave me a free oil change card. I will try them again and let you know how it goes. read more

This will be my new place to take my vehicles. Came in for an oil change and Brandon was super helpful. Great customer service from all of the employees. They are super helpful and explain things thoroughly. I had a feeling I needed new tires and he confirmed and even looked up prices for me and explained the difference in the tires. They even helped me out and put in the new headlight bulb I had in my car that I didn't know how to put in myself. definitely would recommend them to others! Thanks guys! read more

We will NOT be back here! On Saturday January 27th, I got my oil changed. We had some work done on our car today at a local shop in town and he told us we needed to change the oil more often because it was extremely low and Black, it was burnt!!! We told him we just got it changed and he basically told us we got ripped off! Very disappointed in the unscrupulous work ethic at meineke. read more

Had to make an emergency visit late in the afternoon on our way to Citrus Heights from Concord, to replace a snapped accessory drive belt. Amazing service. The employees were super helpful! I was driving down the Freeway when my wiper blade flew off and I couldn't see. I pulled over and found this place, the guy grabbed the blade and put it on my car, for free. I will take my car here everytime when I'm passing through and need something. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!! read more

The gentlemen here are knowledgeable and will work with you on price for your budget! Very understandable and friendly!

Female receptionist lied to me. Called to make an appointment and was told not necessary and just "Come on in, we'll get it done." When I arrived I was told it would be done in "90 minutes." 2 hours later I returned and asked if my car was done, she replied, "We haven't gotten to it yet." I asked her why she told me 90 minutes and she arrogantly replied, "We're short on technicians." No apology, just an attitude (poor). Having brought my 6 different cars to this store for the past 10 years, this was by far the worst service. I will NOT return and I'm sure they don't care read more

Our truck started smoking on a trip through Fairfield. We called numerous shops at 3 pm on a Saturday to get it looked at. Zachary ( I think he is the manager) said "no problem" bring it in. He has been very helpful and accommodating in a tough situation for us. He has offered various options and seems very genuine and honest. Thanks Zach! read more

Let me start from the top. The manager Zach is the best. He doesn't try to up-sell you with services you don't need. He does however give you the bottom line on what you need to do to keep your vehicle in good working conditions. The man looks you in the eye. I trust this guy with working on the car that my family rides in. If he changes locations, I'm going with him. He runs a tight ship and his team follows his lead. I've been going to this shop for over a year and I will continue to use them for my automotive needs. You should too. read more

I'm from San Jose. Drove to Walnut Creek area to swap rims with a friend. Ended up, I couldn't get the spacers off and the new rims were rubbing against my wheel well fender badly. Called Zach up and he sent me to one of his shops. They hooked me up right away at no cost. Fast, friendly, amazing service! Ask for Zach! He will take good care of your car(s). read more

Where to start... Well I went in for an oil change and came out leaking coolant... Ok so I went in for an oil change one morning. It didn't seem to busy, plus I had an appointment. The guy at the counter said it would take about 45 min. So I handed over my key and walked over to Denny's for some breakfast. Then to kill some more time, I walked over to Raley's. I was gone a little over an hour. I walk back to check on my car and they are not done yet. So I sit around for another 30-35 min and FINALLY. My oil change is done. He tells me everything is fine and my car looks good, EXCEPT for this one thing. A small coolant leak that popped up out of nowhere... He says "here, I'll show you." He shows me this fresh coolant drip. Keep in mind that I have never had an issue with the cooling system or leaking. Not surprisingly, he begins to tell me they can fix it, how much it costs and shows me the estimate for the work. I decline. I knew I was getting played. A few days later, I am driving home from work and my car overheats! I open my hood and check the coolant and the resrvoir is BONE DRY! Needless to say, I was livid. I know they caused the problem with the coolant leaking because within a matter of days I went from no coolant leak what so ever, to not being able to hold coolant for a day. It's really sad because I wanted to bring my car to a big name place like this to avoid scam artist mechanics. Oh well. I will not be back. I will also tell my freinds and family about my ordeal. read more

I was having some issues with my car. I work a lot so to take time off is really hard for me. I needed a place to do a excellent job with precision timing. When calling John the manager was very helpful & knew what's he was talking about. I got my car in & everything was completed that day with excellent performance & customer services. I will no longer go to anywhere else to get my cars worked on. Meineke on Holiday Lane is my forever spot. Thank you for the great service.. read more

This place is a proven joke/hack shop, I contacted the company with two receipts showing clearly that the damage was caused from their mechanic with photos to back up, I was told instantly that they intended to deny responsibility yet they were the only ones to have ever worked on my truck. Their cowardly owner of the franchise apparently refused to acknowledg his responsibility to employee employees that are incompetent to perform a simple helicoil job as I never heard a peep from the company yet I was assured I would, ...... or own up to his responsibility to hiring hacks that destroy hard working customers trucks due to their lack of knowledge or proper equipment required to perform a job that my truck required. Had the work been addressed as it initially needed properly I'd never world needed to tell the public off my horrific experience in dealing with this shoddy company, please save your cash and your vehicle and go to a pro who won't leave shavings of metal in your engine causing further damage. My address and phone number is posted if you wish to reimburse me for your mechanic incompetence, but as I've already experience you're dodging me as I will you in the future and others should too, sincerely Sean Jackson read more

I was needing to get the brakes replaced on my car and I called for an estimate. Dave suggested that I come in and they could do their free brake inspection. They did a full inspection on my car and then Dave took me through step-by-step on what they found, and suggested what needed to be done, but he wasn't pushy about getting everything done that day. He even worked with my budget. I will definitely come back to get the rest of the work done on my car! Thanks Dave and the team on Holiday Lane! read more

Ladies, I have finally found an auto repair shop that don't charge you for things you don't need done...I had a great experience from the moment I came through the door great customer service, and they really know what they are doing. They told me things that were wrong with my car then fixed them. Told me how long it was going to take and they did not have me waiting one second longer then what they said. They charged me what they said they would charge no hidden fees at all. I was very HAPPY. Every time I have gone back have had the same GREAT EXPERIENCE. The entire staff are great people from the owner all the way down to the gentlemen who repairs the cars I have met them all. They explain what they have done and make sure you understand what they said. They stand by their work and make sure you are completely satisfied before you leave. The car I have is a bucket and is my youngest sons so there were quite a few things that needed to be fixed on it this is his first car so he hasn't taken good car of it but since I have found Meineke this is the only place who will EVER work on it. I must share this story I live in Vallejo and one day when my car was in the shop the manager came all the way to my house picked me up and took me to my job interview now that's what I call going above and beyond. Well just as usual these people are gouging people that are ignorant to vehicle care. I brought my audi into get a simple oil change. The cost for oil filter was $22, $10 more than the actual dealership and I was charged $10 a quart for mobile one synthetic oil. Of course I was quoted that the oil change started at $64.99 but because the name "audi" I walked out the door for $89. The service was good and I had no problems besides the "you drive an audi" extra charge. You are better off bringing your own oil and filter and having them change it for 21.99 read more

I was very pleased with my recent visit to Meineke. John was very helpful and understanding that as a small business owner not having my car for the day could be burdensome. I am pleased and will be back. Thank you. read more

In the automotive maintenance and repair business one of the most important aspects of a relationship is trust. As a consumer you have to trust that the recommendations you are receiving are accurate and necessary. My recent experience with Jonathan and David at this Meineke Center have restored some of my doubts in the industry. They both are very honest and make good necessary recommendations. They are very knowledgeable and discussed all of the options related to the repair of my daughters car so we could make an informed decision. The car was repaired and we drove away confident that the necessary work had been performed and at a fair price. I will continue to use this shop and recommend it to family and friends. If you decide to use this shop, tell them that Rick W. sent you. read more
