Mr. Kling told us - well you got a "cheap price"- we did not negotiate him down from his estimate.. he then promised to fix the broken sheet rock in the rooms effected by roof collapse - "will send my best guy" tomorrow - we fixed our selves when they did not show up for a week. They subbed it out to a crew that does not speak English - they are underpaying them.. so they do not show up and they do low quality work when they are here.. 4 day job - we are now on week 2.. what a mess. They are driving nails through the new roof instead of using brackets.. so far half the work is done - and will be a patched up "new roof" at best when they finish.. lesson? never trust a guy who uses his dog in his ad and tells you that you have his "word"..

Jodi Monello, who represents them, has provided a vague response offering to address the issues the town identifies when they finally complete the road in our development sometime in the future. So, as they are unwilling to act in a decent, reasonable, manner here is my review. The Monello Group is the developer of Allenwood Estates, a residential development of 10 homes, where I live. The development remains unfinished after 10 years. Until it is completed the Monello Group remain responsible for tasks such a snow removal, something they haven't done in two years. (Thankfully the town has done this even they are not legally obligated to do so) This year the curbs were damaged in a number of areas but, in spite of their ongoing responsibility to fix this issue, they see no urgency. While Mario Monello, the owner of The Monello Group goes between his multimillion dollar residences in Rumson and Boca Raton, we wait and wait for a simple, relatively inexpensive repair. This lack of concern and willingness to create antagonism is his hallmark. If you are in contract, or going into contract on one of his other projects, such as the development on Allaire Rd in Wall, I urge you to get every detail in writing, use your attorney, not his, and expect things to move a his pace, not yours.
