Sorry for the late post. This work was done in 2024…read more Had a leak coming into the basement around the chimney area. Called Reese & Sons because of their high rating and positive reviews. Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!

They just aren't the most responsive and often you have to reach out to them more than once. They were also supposed to clean the windows after installing them. So I get omitted? My time meant nothing that I left work to meet with them? Poor business practice extremely unprofessional. Then she had Zach call me and he decided to quote me over the phone and was $2800 more than my other quotes. Definitely shop around. From my experience they overcharge customers. 4/30 Obviously this business doesn't know how to earn business or how to act when then mess up a potential customers appt. I can't believe the text message they sent me this morning with the threat to remove my post or they are not coming today. Never asked them to come today once they treated my potential business with such disrespect and disregard for my time. I wouldn't use them if they put in the railings for free. Update 5/1 They now are threatening me to take me to court. My review is completely honest. Keep scrolling reviews they have threatened others too!! Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional!

The quality of the work combined with timing has made me realize I have found a great company for a long time! We would definitely use National again.

After a month of no communication and excuses, they came back and said their initial estimate was incorrect based on another foreman's assessment. That led to another 2 weeks of delay, and they ultimately cancelled on me after that. If they were upfront about not wanting or can't handle the job, then I would have looked for someone else. Now after almost 2 months of delay, the roof leak has worsened causing progressive damages and would have likely been prevented if they were prompt or courteous enough the communicate properly. The goal was to trim several rooms with some crown moldings and coffer ceilings as well as design and build a new home office/ library. Let me tell you about John Kling and his team, they're artists! I'm really protective of our living space and was nervous to place it in the hands of strangers. In fact, when I met John there was something about his rough Brooklyn exterior and accent that made me even more anxious to hand my home over to someone of such a different background. Fast forward to today and this was the best decision we've ever made.
