I called the office last year in August and asked if I could have someone come by and replace eight (8) of the windows and I have yet to hear back from the company. In retrospect, it is probably for the best. If they are not calling back and my windows are so very hazy, I will look elsewhere.

I called a very popular roofer in the area for an estimate and had the worst experience. He left his car running, looked at the roof from the ground, and said "you need a whole new roof", and left. My home inspector said absolutely not, call someone else. Another estimate came from a company that didn't even come to the house. I told them what my inspector thought was the issue and he quoted me a price solely based on that. Feeling super defeated, I ended up calling Ryan at Elegant Exteriors for a 3rd and final consult. I definitely saved the best for last because Ryan was phenomenal. He was up on the roof before I knew it taking pictures and surveying everything. He showed me what he felt was the issue and his prices were very reasonable. He was such a pleasure to work with too- just a genuinely nice, helpful, and honest guy. Ryan suggested a solution for a flatter section of our roof that no other contractor had. We were having problems with water in this area and Ryan's solution will surely solve our problems. Ryan worked with us on pricing. He had a superior warranty to the competitor, who says "I bet we did your neighbor's roof". Ryan made it impossible to hire anyone else. Matthew, the project manager, kept me informed of scheduling and what to expect at every step. Ryan and Matthew were on site for all of the job and Ryan was up on the roof a good portion of the day making sure the job was done right. Ryan, Matthew, and the crew went over and above. They solved several problems we had. They even saved us money on the day of installation by pointing out we had copper flashing around our chimneys, which is superior to aluminum. They notified me, reused and resealed the copper flashing, and credited me back $200. Ryan runs a super honest company. Elegant Exteriors is the company to hire for your job. Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!
