This was the first tome we ever rented an RV but overall we had a pretty good experience. The staff does a thorough walkthrough of the RV with you in the beginning to give you a rundown of everything you need to know and also marks down any preexisting damages so you won't get charged for then later. They also provide a packet with all the information. The check in process was fast and took around 30 minutes. The return process was smooth and had no issues there either. However, the RV could have been cleaned a little better prior. We found a broken press-on nail and some chips in the corner but we did not bring chips nor did anyone have press-on nails.

We were dry camping and had no power the majority of the time because of the battery and generator issues. If you ask for AAA discount they lie and stat you already used a discount code when booking, UNTRUE!!! They would not honor the AAA discount after we were told they would when we dropped it back off. We could not refil the gas because the battery would not hold a charge and to stop would have been a problem so they completely over charged us for gas. How about you check the batteries before you send people out with an RV they PAID for with working equipment?? The hours on the paperwork don't match anything with this business on the pick up times. There is nothing positive to say about the experience with El Monte RV.... Nothing. The mattress had gross stains all over it and uncomfortable crease in the middle. Went to make the bed and they had put a clean flat sheet over the mattress to hide the disgusting stains. The toilet bowl was dirty with poop when we picked up. The freezer would not stayed shut and we had to use duct tape to keep it closed. How this place stays in business is beyond me. This was supposed to be a fun time meeting up with friends and having a comfortable place to sleep and use the bathroom. We were lucky to have packed battery lanterns or we would have been screwed.. We are…read morefrom San Diego and went to the Roctober Model Rocketry launch at the Lucerne Valley dry lake bed. Our experience with his company was amazing, because he is so great! First off, the trailer we rented was in great shape and very comfortable. We met him at the site and he delivered the trailer, which was a huge help. Everyything in the trailer was in good working order and, additionally, Mike provided items that other companies (we have used other companies to rent before) don't! For example, he provides toilet paper, paper towels and all other paper goods! Also, Mike checks on you during your stay to make sure things are going well and there are no issues. For people that are coming from out of town as we were, this was very welcome! The most important and wonderful thing was that, while we were at the rocket launch, we got hit with a huge rainstorm one night that turned the site into a muddy mess! Mike made special arrangements to get us a friend's large military truck to get us and our truck out of there so we wouldn't be stuck after the weekend. He felt that this was his duty as we were his customers! He and his friends personally made sure we got out safe and sound! Frankly, I have never experienced that type of customer concern and loyalty! Mike has an incredible view of what it means to provide customer service and he truly cares about his customers. We will absolutely use him again anytime we have an RV need in his area! He and his company are just the best, giving me new faith in humankind!

We requested the RV be delivered and it was waiting for us with the AC running on a hot summer day. The RV looked beautiful- very well maintained, smelled nice and fresh. The towels were clean and crisp, the bedding immaculate, they provided pots, pans, plates, cups, cutlery, toilet paper, paper towel, etc ( they even included a camping outdoor rug, 2 camping chairs and beautiful decor) The owners, a beautiful couple, were very informative, didn't lose patience with the many questions we asked them before booking and answered quickly when we had questions during our stay. They were very generous to us and treated us like friends although it was our first time using them. Overall, our experience with this business exceeded our expectations: from the affordable price, excellent customer service and beautiful unit. I recommend them 100% .

The RV was spotless--clean in all areas: cabinets, kitchen, bathroom, etc. I'm a bit of a germaphobe, so when I wiped things down with a disinfecting wipe, there was no dirt or residue at all! Impressive, especially for an RV that's rented often and used out in the woods. Since this was our first time renting an RV, we called ahead with some questions and the man we spoke with was kind and friendly. Check-Out You only need to take out the trash, clean the dishes, and sweep. Since we weren't sure how check-out worked, we didn't realize the person who comes to collect the RV was already waiting nearby. He was very nice and didn't rush us at all. He said it was no problem that he waited and even let us linger in the area without making us feel like we had to leave immediately. Even though checkout was at 11 a.m., he didn't collect the RV until a little after noon, once we moved our vehicle out of the driveway. Great customer service!

Day two, I wasted over seven hours driving to El Monte for repairs -- ruining my family's plans for the second time. Day three, we came back to no power at all. Everything in the fridge -- over $300 worth of food and meat -- was spoiled and trashed. This RV should've never been rented out in that condition. It ruined my daughter's 9th birthday -- we spent her actual birthday stuck at a service center instead of celebrating. My entire "vacation" was spent on the phone with customer service, sending pictures and begging for help. I drove over 200 miles trying to fix your broken RV. That's not my job -- that's yours. You handed me a defective, unsafe RV and didn't take responsibility for it. Since getting home, I've tried reaching someone, but all I've received is one automated email. That's pathetic customer service. I'm asking a full refund and reimbursement for the spoiled food. Your RV and your customer service completely failed my family. You ruined our trip, my daughter's birthday, and any trust I had in your company. This was the worst experience my family ever had, as a father and husband I am ashamed to put my family thru this and I expect it to be made right -- immediately.
