This year the group rented 8 RVs and 5 of them were perfect. 3 had either A/C or refrigerator issues. There was one with no A/C for 3 out of 4 days. Jeff did promise to refund the money. And two of them did not have a working refrigerator. He did reimburse one renter for the daily purchase of ice. And if you plan on using JM RV rentals for more than 3 of you and your friends, create a spreadsheet and share it with Jeff and his wife. Your own spreadsheet will cut down on any confusion.
And linen, they should remove that amenity from their website and you should bring sleeping bags, JIC. And coffee, if that's important to you make sure you ask about a carafe in your unit. Lots of coffee makers, but no carafes. The Toy Haulers are a bit banged up but the air, refrigerator and electrical outlets worked this year. The first year the blinds fell down every time we closed the door and the mattress was thin.
The next year the blinds were fixed and the mattress was plush, but some overhead lights were out and electrical outlets in the kitchen area didn't work. This year we got the exact same RV as last year (a toy hauler) and it looked pretty beat up inside, my husband didn't seem to care, but his wife, me thought it a little yuck. However, the A/C was en pointe, the refrigerator and freezer worked and both doors opened and closed properly. All of the electrical outlets worked and no blinds fell off.
The bathroom was super clean and they brought by toilet paper. There was a toaster and coffee maker but no carafe. There was a mattress protector and 3 pillows in the master bed, but no linen. The memory foam mattress was heaven to sleep on. The awning never did work, or at least we couldn't get it to open, so we stayed inside. Not sure if the radio worked, last year it didn't work, but we had a JBL Bluetooth speaker so we didn't try. Five of the eight RV were great with A/C, fridge, water and microwaves. And, Jeff did come back in the middle of the night to try to fix problems and the price was right. I would suggest that you make sure you ask lots of questions about what is important for you to have a great trip.
One RV though had no oven door, a freezer door that came off in the guy's hand, no linen and a mattress so thin it was like sleeping on a slab, but I'm sure Jeff reimbursed him for the cost of linen and ice.
