My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our rental from Big Bear RV Rentals. We spent the last four days in Big Bear and am so happy we didn't tent camp. It wasn't freezing in the morning but had to turn on the heater to get the chill off. The 26' Forest River Evo Bunkhouse was plenty of room for three. The trailer was clean and smelled great! We stayed at Sorrano Camp Grounds in Big Bear and our camp site didn't have any hook ups. Although the solar panels ran the lights and charged the phones I'm glad I rented the generator, we needed it in the morning for the heater. Ran the heater for 15 minutes and the trailer was toasty. Blake was great to work with, I had several questions while out and he answered each call. We had a group of nearly 75 camping this weekend and several friends wanted the rental info. Can't wait to rent again next year.

Just got back from 4 days in the desert and with out the rental from Big Bear RVs we would have cooked! Blake was amazing, if I had questions (too many at times) he was there to answer right away. The camper was just what we needed for the family to enjoy themselves. My two older daughters didn't leave the camper and still had a great tome. I can't thank Blake and BIg Bear Rentals enough for helping me pull of the first of many family trips to the dirt.

Wonderful camping experience with Big Bear RV Rentals! So great to have an RV trailer delivered straight to our campsite. The trailer was clean, comfortable and well-stocked. Thank you Blake for your professional, warm and courteous service. Highly recommend this as a convenient and very fun alternative to the other types of lodging in the area. We had a blast!

It was nice to not have to haul a camper up the mountain. Convenience was the best thing about this experience. Everything was ready, freezer and fridge was cold. But unless we were guaranteed a nicer trailer, not sure we'd rent from here again. There is an additional charge for using the awning, which was not useable any way. Radio didn't work (he did attempt to rectify this, but felt like I was given an attitude and we ended up just playing the radio on our phone because it was louder than the speaker he provided), DVD player skipped, shower hose was monkey rigged, could of been cleaner considering the cost of a rental. Didn't do a walk around like we were originally told when we made the reservations. Didn't feel it was as professional as it should of been and he said it was because he was a one man show (which he's not). He has a cleaning crew that should be more thorough, check and fix things properly. I'd give it 3 1/2 stars if that was an option. But don't quite feel it's worthy of 4. My summary- Convenience is nice but buyers be aware...

Great for first timers. He answered all of our questions and everything we needed was included in the rental. All around a great experience.

First off, the trailer we rented was in great shape and very comfortable. We met him at the site and he delivered the trailer, which was a huge help. Everyything in the trailer was in good working order and, additionally, Mike provided items that other companies (we have used other companies to rent before) don't! For example, he provides toilet paper, paper towels and all other paper goods! Also, Mike checks on you during your stay to make sure things are going well and there are no issues. For people that are coming from out of town as we were, this was very welcome! The most important and wonderful thing was that, while we were at the rocket launch, we got hit with a huge rainstorm one night that turned the site into a muddy mess! Mike made special arrangements to get us a friend's large military truck to get us and our truck out of there so we wouldn't be stuck after the weekend. He felt that this was his duty as we were his customers! He and his friends personally made sure we got out safe and sound! Frankly, I have never experienced that type of customer concern and loyalty! Mike has an incredible view of what it means to provide customer service and he truly cares about his customers. We will absolutely use him again anytime we have an RV need in his area! He and his company are just the best, giving me new faith in humankind!

Lots of coffee makers, but no carafes. The Toy Haulers are a bit banged up but the air, refrigerator and electrical outlets worked this year. The first year the blinds fell down every time we closed the door and the mattress was thin. The next year the blinds were fixed and the mattress was plush, but some overhead lights were out and electrical outlets in the kitchen area didn't work. This year we got the exact same RV as last year (a toy hauler) and it looked pretty beat up inside, my husband didn't seem to care, but his wife, me thought it a little yuck. However, the A/C was en pointe, the refrigerator and freezer worked and both doors opened and closed properly. All of the electrical outlets worked and no blinds fell off. The bathroom was super clean and they brought by toilet paper. There was a toaster and coffee maker but no carafe. There was a mattress protector and 3 pillows in the master bed, but no linen. The memory foam mattress was heaven to sleep on. The awning never did work, or at least we couldn't get it to open, so we stayed inside. Not sure if the radio worked, last year it didn't work, but we had a JBL Bluetooth speaker so we didn't try. Five of the eight RV were great with A/C, fridge, water and microwaves. And, Jeff did come back in the middle of the night to try to fix problems and the price was right. I would suggest that you make sure you ask lots of questions about what is important for you to have a great trip. One RV though had no oven door, a freezer door that came off in the guy's hand, no linen and a mattress so thin it was like sleeping on a slab, but I'm sure Jeff reimbursed him for the cost of linen and ice. Onto the actual trip, the stairs to the RV were not set up correctly and they were extremely wobbly the whole trip. Additionally, there was a lot more damage to the RV compared to what was on the listing which suggests that they used outdated photos for the listing. After the trip, the host prematurely claimed the whole security deposit before even getting a quote on the damages and now I have to jump through a bunch of hurdles to get it back because we had insurance in case of damages. Over a month later, and I still did not receive an estimate but I am lucky to have booked through Outdoorsy for some protection.
