I get there and they tell me thats without the wheels on it.... its a extra 1,999 for that... so by the end of it they show me my total is gonna be 11 thousand and some change almost 12 grand.. which is double the price at that point. We recently had a very disappointing experience at Cool Springs Powersports ("Cool Springs"). My wife and I were in the market to purchase a new 2025 KAWASAKI MULE PRO-FXT 1000 PLATINUM RANCH EDITION. First for the good news, our salesperson, Brian, was fantastic. He was pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. He patiently explained the differences between the various Mules, and he helped us to land on one that was perfect for us. We were looking forward to rewarding him for all of his hard work by purchasing a UTV from him. Now the bad news - after our awful experience of dealing with the sales manager, we decided not to purchase from Cool Springs. When the Mule was originally delivered to Cool Springs, the dealership installed a stationary plexiglass windshield on the UTV (charge to the customer was $900). The windshield was installed with screws and double-sided tape which could be seen through the plexiglass. The tape had already started cracking and the adhesive was coming undone. The dealership agreed that it looked horrible, and they indicated that they had planned on replacing the tape. Since I wanted a windshield that would tilt up, I inquired about paying the difference for an upgraded windshield from the stationary one they had put on the UTV. I thought that my request was reasonable and fair - especially since the dealership would have to remove the existing windshield to replace the double sided tape. What happened next ranks in the top of the list of poor customer service. The sales manager informed me that he could put on the windshield I wanted, but that he would also have to charge me for stationary windshield that was on the vehicle. To my utter shock, he said that I would then have two windshields in case something happened to the stationary windshield they initially put on the UTV. He also said that if I wanted to, I could sell the stationary windshield on Marketplace. To help the situation, I suggested to the manager that he keep the stationary windshield and simply install it on his next incoming Platinum Mule since the 2026 models were similar to the 2025 models. The sales manager responded by telling me that he did not want to keep the stationary windshield around because he could lose some of the parts. As a final insult, he told me that the 2025 I was looking at was discounted because of how bad the windshield looked. In reality, the 2025 Mules were reduced by Kawasaki because the 2026 units were already out. The customer service from the sales manager was just non-existent. My wife and I left Cool Springs and drove directly to American Motor Sports Nashville. Our salesperson at American Motor Sports, Elijah, was fantastic. The experience was night and day from Cool Springs. Elijah actually beat the price of the exact Mule we were looking to purchase from Cool Springs. In the end, we were able to get the Mule with a pair of side mirrors for the same out-the-door price we were going to pay at Cool Springs. In addition, to my surprise, Elijah waived the delivery charge. Incredible customer service! As a side note, while we were at American Motor Sports, the sales manager from Cool Springs called me and offered to sell me the Mule we wanted with the tilt up windshield without also charging me for the stationary windshield. He said that he looked at his incoming inventory and decided that he could put the stationary windshield on the next incoming vehicle (exactly what I had suggested to him when I was at Cool Springs). We ultimately decided to stick with purchasing the UTV from American Motor Sports Nashville because I did not want to reward Cool Springs for awful customer service. I also had serious concerns with dealing with a place that was so unreasonable during the purchase process. At the very least, the sales manager at Cool Springs needs a refresher lesson on delivering good customer service. read more

A dealership is only as good as its people. If you are looking for a friendly and helpful salesperson ask for Brian. He is patient and has a laid back approach to sales and helping customers. After reading the negative reviews about rude salespeople at this location, I almost went elsewhere. I called, and luckily got Brian who is the opposite of the sales folks the negative reviews are talking about. Hopefully Cool Springs Powersports gets some more "Brians". I had some hiccups along the way with aftermarket items being installed incorrectly. Brian was quick to jump on the solution and get it resolved. I will refer friends to Brian. read more

Nope. I had a pair of VX limited 2020 waverunners. One of them was running rough. I had taken them previously to Castle powersports (avoid them too) they couldn't figure it out. I ended up at Howards honda off donelson near Nashville. They fixed it. They said it was obvious, a water tank was busted and leaking exhaust into area so air filter was sucking in the smoke. Simple. Simply put, these people can pound sand. They had my skis for over 2 weeks and didn't do nothing. read more

Called them to ask about replacing my valve stem on a 1999 Goldwing and was told if I had it there by 5pm they could get it done by 6pm, closing time. I had it towed and arrived at 4:45 and the man at the desk asked the mechanic if he could do it and he said he didn't want to so they couldn't do it until next day so I had to rent a hotel for$250. Went the next at 10:30 and had to wait another couple hours for them to finish. Terrible customer service and don't seem to care about out of town stranded people. If you're in the area do not use them because they don't care. read more

Walked in to get information towards purchasing a new bike, specifically the 2021 MT 10. All the floor personnel seemed preoccupied with their phones and had little to no interest in engaging customers. The "sales people" in their cubicles were kicked back in their recliners actively mouthing words into their phones whilst ignoring the foot traffic through their facility. My favorite place to go helmet browsing. They offer a fairly decent selection of Scorpion helmets, the company that has the motto "what's the difference between their $600 helmet and our $300 helmet? $300." They carry a much wider selection of gear here that caters to mid-to-crazy crotch rocketeer, and a little more gear for your want-to-look-Harley-without-paying-Harley crowd. Their glove selection is not as good as next door usually, so I'd suggest walking next door for those if you don't find gloves you loves. Also, if they don't have the helmet in your size, pick one up that's close and ask if that can be your size - a lot of helmets are the same size helmet with different size padding, so getting an XL to an XXL might not be a problem for them as they keep a lot of padding for a lot of helmets. I noticed more cruisers here than next door at the Honda bike shop, but that may be because they have a room devoted to 'em and Honda has bikes just packed so tight a few cruisers might not jump out. They have a lot of higher speed sportbikes, a couple of used vehicles, and plenty of black and chrome Yamahas. If you're looking for Goldwing-style-mega-cruiser though, their selection seemed to be 2. While not particularly looking for a yacht of a motorcycle, the selection next door jumped out more although I was informed that the goldwings were going out the door at the moment so your mileage will vary. I had a situation with them once where I tried to buy a bike and they never contacted me back. I'm told someone quit or was fired and the ball was dropped, it worked out in my favor though as I found the bike I was looking for used for substantially less money. Have had my bike in here a couple of times, they were pretty good about everything, prices seemed high but reasonably high. I don't go there for service generally because it's far and I have to wait as I don't have a way to haul a bike there. I would if I had that ability though or if they offer a pick up service. read more

I would not recommend anyone using this company! Do you self a favor and go to America's motor sports or sloan's! It's a 100% different experience working with real professionals in the industry. I have had multiple bad experiences here at cool springs Powersports. The only reason I gave them any business in the past is because they were close to me. I have purchased 3 units form coolspings power sports. 2 atvs and a dirt bike. At that time no complaints about that sales team. My main complaint comes to the service center. I hate to even call it that. They are pathetic. They have told me they couldn't get an axle out of an atv for replacement. Their advice ride it til it breaks. They turned me away on suspension work on my dirt bike that was only about a year old. Today they told me they are not capable of putting a mousse bib in a dirt bike tire, for those who don't know it's a flat free solution from Michelin tire. They gave me a number to call, that person told me they are a one man show/ shop doing repairs out of his garage and that he's over loaded because coolsprings power sports sends him someone EVERYDAY! He's getting at least 1 call a day! Your spending good money on this expensive hobby they should be able to support the products they sell! One good thing I will say... the parts people are the most helpful people in the whole building. I have been able to do so much on my own thanks to them! Extremely knowledgeable. Unprofessional company. If you own a 49cc scooter, they don't want your business. I got ran out the door trying to get an oil leak fixed and a tune up. I guess it was too small of a job and they wanted me to leave my only mode of transportation there for 2 weeks in hopes they could look at it. Every question I had was retorted with negative answers. It was clear my business was not wanted as I was just a tadpole in a pond of 4 wheelers and big boy bikes. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone. read more

Started the conversation about purchasing and pricing and was immediately interrupted and told "anyone willing to give me a deal was an idiot. Was told that no advertised price below sticker would be honored and that they were lying to me. READ THIS REVIEW! The sales team are well intentioned and the finance manager was exceptional. More importantly, a business of this size should have their customer service and communication processes improved upon. Four calls with no return until I finally developed a communication stream with a sales associate and when I walked in to pay for a new unit in full, a certain fee was not communicated until just before sale. It was then recommended that I travel to my local bank and return with cash or a cashiers check. That was distasteful. It is a shame that a business like this is run in this way. Another sign that they're unlikely to change is a lack in response to their reviews. If the unit that I wanted was available in Murfreesboro, I would have visited Sloan's Motorsports for a more personable experience. Lowest prices in town but!!!! they hide their setup fees and doc fees until its time to purchase. Came into buy an R6 and when it was started it was bogging and trying to cut off. When asked about this they told me it was bad gas lol. After throwing some ideas out and making the sales person talk to the mechanic I was told the truth , it needs to be tuned... I was told to buy it and it would be fine smh. Used bikes are priced close to new bikes to force you to buy a new one after fees are revealed. Although I wasn't able to get a bike from CSP they were able to help me pick out some gear and guide me as to what products might best fit my needs. I purchased my first bike on Saturday but didn't have any riding gloves. Chris and Tarrik made sure to answer all my rookie questions and make sure I was able to get some gloves that fit me best so I could get out riding on Sunday. Definitely going back to get my parts and gear from Chris and Tarrik for sure. read more

Took my bike there to have a new front brake master cylinder put on which they said they could do. They quoted me what I felt was a pretty good price so I made the appointment. About an hour after they started working on it I get called back to the service department to find out they couldn't do it because I needed different brake lines. My first thought was "shouldn't you have known this in the first place?". So they put my old mc on and when I went to get the bike they said I owed them what they quoted me. Even though I didn't show it, I was furious about this crap. They should have been able to tell or known this wasn't going to work and now it's on me? What sucks is I just moved here and was looking for a local shop to take care of my bike. I'm the kind of person that takes it to one place that knows the bike and that's it. Needless to say I won't be taking my bike back there. And the icing on the cake was when I was riding home, I noticed brake fluid on the tank. If I hadn't pulled over to wipe it off, it defiantly would have left marks on the paint. Also, it appears that the mc might be leaking. I'm hoping it was just a lack of checking your work and not wiping it down after they were finished. I'll update this post if it is in fact a leak. Update It is, in fact, a leak. So not only did they not put on the master cylinder, there is now a leak in the original one. I literally paid them to learn what they can and can't do, which I'm sure they'll be able to use in the future. And, I paid them to give my master cylinder a leak. It's your money but if I was you I'd take your bike somewhere else. read more

Bought a 2015 Suzuki v-Strom 650 there in May of 2016 after my local dealer wouldn't honor their internet price. The Strom was advertised at Cool Springs for $2300 under retail. Since I was be coming 100 miles and didn't want to get jerked around, I called and spoke with their sales manager. First I asked, "do you actually have this bike?", then I asked "what will the real out the door price be?" He said, yes we have the bike, but we'll have to put it together; and listed the $975 of add-on charges (freight, assembly, "documentation") - which is what my local dealer was going to charge, but wouldn't honor their internet price. I told him that if I showed up and they changed the price, I would turn around and head out the door. He agreed to have the bike ready by Friday - it was - and when I got there the price was within a dollar of what they quoted me on the phone. I asked the parts guy if I would get a discount on parts and accessories. He said sure, and depending on whether it was clothing, parts or safety gear, I got a 10-50% discount. I bought a center stand, hand guards, helmet, boots, jacket and gloves - some of the items were in the Suzuki/Yama/Kawi store and some in the Honda store. The prices were as good or better than the two major online retailers I routinely buy from which I cross shopped while I was in the store. I made an appointment for the 600 mile post break-in service, at which time the center stand and handguards had come in. They charged me a reasonable fee to put them on, and didn't screw up the installation or service. I'll return for major services and would buy another bike from them as long as the out the door price remains competitive. This was a cash purchase, so I don't know what their finance dept is like. Took my Suzuki B King in for an intermediate service checkup. Awesome customer care.. fair prices.. not cheap, but good for a dealer. I live in Murfreesboro and Sloans has nothing but bad reviews so I say it's worth the trip if you need the work done. I talked to the mechanic (Jarrod) & he was REAL cool, gave me lots of advice and took care of a recall on my bike without any fuss. My issue was with the trailer for a PWC. They sold me a trailer that was broken that they said was used. They took advantage because my lack of attention to the trailer they sold me. I come to find out after delivery the trailer was made back in the 90s, rusted winch, strap tied to the winch only 3 feet of slack, busted non working taillights, dry rot tires, busted side lights, and lose tongue that was to jump out of the 2" ball. When I called about it, the sales manager Ronnie said that they thought I just needed a cheap trailer to get it to my home and that it. I paid 880 (trailer, new tire, and tax) dollars for this junk that I wouldn't trust driving more than 10 miles. I am dealing with another company to get a different trailer and I will try to negotiate a return or something because this is just plain wrong. I never asked for a throw away junk trailer and they seem to not care that I or someone else could be hurt using this dangerous trailer. If this is the service you get when you buy something new, imagine what their service dept does to unsuspecting customers. If this gets resolved, I will improve this rating and won't report them to the BBB. Edit: Sales manager is going to cut me a discount on a new trailer and is taking back the old one. I have bought 2 bikes and had all of my service on those bikes done here over the past 10 years, despite having a dealership less than 2 miles from where I live in Clarksville. If only all dealerships served their customers this well. The customer experience is great, prices are honest and competitive as well. Best of all the no games, no silliness and they respect their customers. I completely recommend this dealership to all those from Ft. This place sucks. My dad took his bike to trade it in and these clowns basically tried to steal it from him. We were at the dealership for over 3 hours while they took their sweet a$$ time making us play the "waiting game". They then proceeded to offer him $1250 for a 2006 Concours. The salesman was cool, but the management was rude and condescending and took forever to make any kind of communication or decision. Would NOT RECOMMEND anyone look for a bike here. read more

I was motorcycling in Tennessee, planning to ride the Natchez Trace. As I inspected my Yamaha on Saturday morning, I noticed a huge roofing nail in my brand new rear tire. I called Cool Springs Yamaha Suzuki, and Kate in service was able to find a Michelin tire that matched mine. I was there later that morning, and Jarrod had the bike for only around 45 minutes before I was back on the road. And Kate informed me that the tire I wanted was not only in stock, but on sale! This dealership really did a great job for this motorcyclist who was able to resume his vacation with a minimum of fuss and expense. read more

I have bought two bikes from them, Kaw KLR and a Honda CBR.... what disappointed me was the price . The actual price is great then the fees that were added on, example the KLR list was around 5800 and when it is said and done i walked out of there paying nearly 8 grand ..They charge a setup fee on the bike or pre delivery set up, well they must have forgot to use any tools on my bike i found a couple of problems which i fixed myself i work on them and did not wanted to go through the hassle of taking it back to them...this the 3 star rating i give them on this... The 5 star goes to the salesman who helped me with the Questions and getting the set up and paper work and the parts dept who was knowledgeable and helpful. read more

Don't purchase from this dealership! Unethical and lack any element of customer service in their transactions. Requested a Kawasaki 110 for a beginner after visiting with the salesperson for over an hour and my son sitting on it within the showroom. It had an automatic clutch and his feet were able to touch the ground. Then a Kawasaki 110L was delivered a few days later and never once discussed which included a clutch and was 3 inches taller where his feet could no longer touch the ground. When I contacted the dealership they said they would have to take it back as a used bike for $1600 and I would then have to pay an additional $866 to get the correct bike that was requested from the beginning. This was also after I had just purchased a brand new Yamaha 250 WRF from them as well. Reputable companies take care of their customers when their sales team makes a mistake. Definitely not this one! I just purchased a new Yamaha FZ-10 from Cool Springs Power Sports. The salesman Hunter was not pushy and answered my questions. He seemed to be fairly knowledgeable about the bike. The sales manager Ron also was not pushy. After some negotiation to get to a what I thought was a good OTD price, I left just to have some time to think about it because this was a major purchase. I went back the next day and made a deposit because the color I wanted was not in inventory. And two days later, I was riding away a happy customer. The buying experience went well. However, once I a very simple question I was unable to get a response or a call back. I called 5 times and left three messages for Scott who never called me back. He also told me when we purchased that the break-in period of a Waverunner was 20 hours. Good thing I checked the Yamaha site. It is 10. Likely would have voided my warranty. read more

If you have any brand other than Yamaha don't bring it here for service. I brought my KTM in for a carburetor cleaning and ended up leaving with a quote for $2,500 saying my "valves were blown out" and then found copper in my oil filter. It turns out there is no copper in a KTM engine, so all I can guess is that the service techs put that copper there to scam me out of my money. A week later I took the bike into another dealership who found that nothing was wrong with the bike except for the carburetor being gummed up from sitting too long, exactly what I told Yamaha in the first place. I ended up paying 200 dollars to fix what Yamaha was quoting me over 10 times that much to do. I will never bring any of my bikes back here. The worst customer service I think I have ever experienced at any place, let alone a so called "reputable" dealership. If you get work done here on any of your cycles or ATVs be sure to get a second opinion first. read more
