We're visiting from California and my boys had a blast! Jennifer was super knowledgeable and ensured the kids learned the basics and that they had fun. She tailored each ride to my boys and their comfort level. My 8 year old enjoyed himself and learned a lot! She got my 3 year old to loosen up and in no time he felt brave enough to ride and didn't want to get off. They all enjoyed the various animals and at the end she even let my 10 month old hop on for a short and safe distance and he LOVED it! A great experience for my boys! We came the last open day of the fall and definitely lucked out they made room for us. Both my 7-year old and 2-year old went on a ride with a pony. The course is way more than just a short circle, instead it weaves through different elements of the property. We also interacted with a whole host of other animals. What an incredible family experience! Our 2 1/2-year-old daughter had her first pony ride here at the farm and it was magical and memorable! Jennifer is incredible with kids and animals alike so it was a smooth process for us. After the pony ride, we got to pet and feed all the other animals on the farm which included chickens, a bunny, and a goat. We can't wait to go back next time we are in town! read more

We met Jennifer in town and made arrangements to go out to Winterberry Way a few days later. Jennifer has a few ponies for riding, bunnies for petting, chickens for chasing and hunting for their eggs. It was perfect for my city-slicker kiddos looking for a slice of the country life! After some introductions and basic safety information, Jennifer had our 3 daughters up and going on the horses quickly and adjusted instruction appropriately. We ride Western, although Jennifer has a background in English, too. The girls loved the trails and the independence and self-satisfaction that comes from learning a new skill and doing things for yourself. I stayed close the first day, taking pictures and making sure they were attentive to her direction. The next day I brought my book and hung out on the bench looking out at the trees and listening to the chickens cluck. I highly recommend getting out there for a ride or having her teach your children. Jennifer is friendly and approachable, but firm and directive when needed to keep everyone safe as they learn proper horsemanship. read more

Our 3 year old had the most amazing experience at Adventure pony rides. Jennifer was easy to communicate with and the morning at Jennifers farm made my daughter so happy. She was able to ride a very calm and gentle pony through the woods and wetlands. It was so much better than going to a traditional farm where they ride in a circle. After her ride, she was able to play with and feed the other animals(pig,goats,bunny,dogs,cats,ducks). We will be coming back the next time we visit. Jennifer was a little gruff. We took our 4 kids to adventure pony rides recently. We have 2 older kids and 2 younger. The older ones went with Jennifer. She didn't have much patience with them. I understand that she's concerned about safety but she did yell at them a little. My younger kids went with her assistant. She was great. Very patient and made it fun!
