Love the staff, location, vibe, & networking opportunities! One of the best coworking spots in Charlotte, hands down!

We are a remote company and hosted a team onsite at Industrious Charlotte. The location was…read morefantastic - nearby parking, restaurants within walking distance and easy to get to. Our meeting room was very well equipped - had a dry erase board and large TV for projecting presentations. There was a box with supplies (dry erase markers, pens, post-its, and all of the connectors you need to get the AV to work). We had some issues with the AV, but I think that was user error :) The staff was very accommodating and friendly! And the cafe/kitchen had everything we would want for the day - breakfast, coffee/tea/soda available all day, afternoon snacks, and even happy hour! With our team traveling to Charlotte from many locations, it was so nice to not have to coordinate these details and have it all supplied by Industrious. It allowed us to focus on our meetings instead of logistics. Our team enjoyed just leaving the meeting room at the end of the day and relaxing in the common area with a beverage and snack. A huge perk for me was the amenity of a "wellness room", where as a nursing mom I could pump in privacy and not in a bathroom or other awkward location. The room was nicely decorated with a sink, fridge and comfy seating - and a door that locked. AMAZING! Thank you Industrious Charlotte for your hospitably and for helping to make our meeting run smoothly!

Visited the location during their open house to get more info for a friend not on location. The…read morespace was professional, clean, and ready for a variety of uses. There were phone rooms, focus rooms, huddle rooms, official conference rooms, open office space, kitchen areas, couches, and more. The amenities seemed nice and realistically represented. Not all room doors or whiteboards were installed yet, but I was assured those would be coming shortly. The few occupants already onsite all seemed pleased with their set-up, including the continuity of internet, flexibility of room/payment plans and furniture, and noise levels. There was also a referral plan for additional occupants. The whole floor felt like nothing but windows and in addition to the beautiful view there was a lot of natural light in the entire space. I recommended it to my friend, although, to be fair, I haven't explored the other co-working options yet.

It was so nice being able to go into a TRENDY/ nice restaurant and be able to order what I want. I'm used to going to these quick, casual, vegan restaurants so it was refreshing. Parking is a little confusing and crowded but it wasn't bad. I believe their parking lot was like one building down but we found a parking spot pretty quick. We went in around 1:30 and I believe we just missed the brunch crowd but it was still a decent amount of people and I did not feel like people were sitting on top of us. We sat at the bar because we didn't have a reservation which I didn't realize that we needed one. Still not sure, but the bartender and all of the other staff were very pleasant. The food came out at a decent time as you can imagine with plant based food, and was delicious. The mimosas I had were amazing. Very different. Can't wait to take all of my non vegan friends. I am so happy to be able to say that!

My family of 5 visited Alchemy for Brunch…read more First, my wife and son waited 30 minutes for drinks, and when they arrived they were the wrong drinks. They both ordered iced Cinnamon Toast Crunch lattes, and both received a hot version thereof. As for the food, my daughter ordered her steak medium, and it was far overcooked. This is inexcusable - both to cook AND to present if you're a food runner - but she didn't want to make a fuss, so she kept it and ate half of it. In addition, the steak was butchered badly, with a far amount of unrendered fat. It's 4oz of strip, not an 18oz ribeye. Whoever was expediting should've had it recooked. Additionally, the fries were soggy, the eggs were far from over easy, the hollandaise was bland, and the steak-covering 'tomato aioli' (which looked or tasted like neither) just seemed a way to try to hide the mistakes with the steak. Please see the attached photos for documentation of her dish. The other food issue was with my wife's (beautifully plated) Japanese pancakes. When I've ordered these in the past - or made them, or even relied on the description in your menu - they've been light and fluffy. Generally, this is accomplished via folding in egg whites, which lends an airiness to the dish. Deflation is normally a concern, but not with yours. It was as though dense pancake batter was simply cooked in a ring mold. In terms of the service in general, it was subpar, to put it kindly. My eldest daughter never had her water refilled, and in general the waits were too long between checkups at each stage of the meal. And finally, the check. When the check arrived, it included three additional drinks beyond what we ordered. After pointing it out to the waiter, and him having it corrected, it still contained (contains, actually) an additional drink. Regardless, I went ahead and paid it, because everyone was annoyed and ready to go. Somewhat slow service I can understand, especially with the labor issues that have plagued service industries of late. I still tipped $22, because my wife and I both used to work in restaurants and understand that people should be paid a fair wage regardless. That said, a $170 breakfast - without alcohol - should be memorable... for good reasons. I'm giving it a 2, because the presentation was definitely instagram-ready. But it's been 5 days since I emailed them feedback, and not so much as an automated reply. So maybe even the 1 was undeserved...

I didn't expect it to be so hard to find such a place on the weekend. I called multiple co-working spaces which were either closed on the weekends or in one case charged a ridiculous amount. The last coworkers space I called couldn't do it but recommended Hygge. They met me the day before to make sure the space would work and then remotely let me in! They saved the day and the interview was amazing! I wanted to give them a big hugge!

My rating starts all the way from the beginning when I found the Hygge website easy to navigate and was excited to see they offered day passes and weren't just membership based. I purchased a day pass for myself and my coworker (more on that later) and had instant email communication from the community manager, Bryan Archilla. He was able to help me transfer the pass to my coworker's email since the door key is activated by your phone and needs to be activated by two phones. Bryan's communication was prompt and he even greeted me upon arrival and gave me a tour. I used the regular unassigned desk area and found the vibe to be perfect. A nice mix of quiet and conversational. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and found the entire area (bathrooms, work space, kitchen) clean and comfortable. I will definitely be back! Thanks, Bryan, for your awesome customer service! Edit: Oops! I just realized this review was left on the wrong location, but I'm not seeing the Wesley Heights one... Anyways, I'm sure they're all great :)

Luckily, they were very easy to work with, even with their busy schedule. This is a haven for those craving co-working space or a fitted space to host large meetings. Outfitted with the correct technology, the possibilities are huge. Upon my first visit a few months ago, I was very impressed by the cleanliness of this space. The 1st floor has beautiful wood floors, large glass doors and windows into many of the meeting rooms and tons of natural light. The rest of the floors have been outfitted with new wiring, cables, internet access, lighting, and newly finished paint. Another fun aspect of this building is that each floor has a main floor and also a mezzanine floor. Kind of a play on split level, but it makes it easy to accomplish more with the utilization of space. If you're looking for a place to get your start-up off the ground or host a meeting or larger scale event/gathering/business convention, this could be a perfect space.
