I like Firestone's and use them often, although this was my first visit to this location. I left my…read morecar here to get a new brake booster installed and 1 new tire. It was dropped off after closing and within 2 days they had the part in and installed and the new tire on and all was good to go. So far the new brake booster and tire are doing just fine and everything working well. The place was clean and the staff was professional. No issues, and they took care of what I needed.

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service…read more I had a very disappointing experience at Firestone in Pinellas Park. From the moment I walked through the door, the employee assisting me was rude, dismissive, and seemed irritated that I was asking questions about my car's A/C. I was simply trying to understand the process, but instead of answering my questions respectfully, he spoke to me in a condescending and impatient manner. My friend was on the phone with me during the interaction and could hear how he was speaking to me. She was genuinely upset for me because of how unnecessarily rude and disrespectful his tone was. At one point, I was handing him my keys and he snatched them from my hand aggressively, rolled his eyes, and said, "Ma'am, like I just said, you will not be charged until we tell you what's wrong with your vehicle." There was absolutely no reason to speak to me that way, especially in front of other customers. He also told me that my appointment might not matter if they didn't have an A/C technician available. When I asked if the one A/C technician they did have could look at my vehicle, he said yes, but explained that they normally have two or three technicians working on one vehicle. He then explained that if they found the A/C system needed significant work, I could potentially be charged a lot to take it apart and that they couldn't provide an estimate until they diagnosed the vehicle. At that point, I was so uncomfortable with the way I was being treated that I left without allowing them to look at my vehicle. When I left, he essentially threw my keys back at me, which only added to how disrespectful and uncomfortable the entire interaction felt. I completely understand that vehicle repairs can be complicated and that an estimate cannot always be provided before a diagnosis. What I do not understand or accept is being treated rudely for asking reasonable questions as a paying customer. I should not have left feeling embarrassed and disrespected simply because I wanted clarification about my own vehicle. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and based on the way I was treated, I would never recommend this Firestone location to anyone. Customers deserve patience, professionalism, and basic respect.

So I remember I never left a review as I was leaving negative ones on your FB page, but noticed…read morethat I was blocked from it once you saw my one star and consistent comments. For starters, I was a briefly struggling with $, asked them if they can work on their rate; cool. I thought they'd be able to do their job, if not, they could've said no, we are firm. The service manager's name was Sergio Pino something. My bad for not having his full last name, but it should be close enough. Lets just say that not only were my brakes not installed right, pads were rubbing, and the alignment was god awful. Went there at least 2 times, nothing. They tried to justify me needing shocks, basically upselling me on much more than what I needed. Lets say because this was about a year ago, I replaced my shocks and springs as they finally wore down about 6 months ago. So, you guys are full of crap too. I had to get a different shop named Spooners, which was weird that its owner wanted me to not say anything so that I don't "cause" whatever this might be, but they did everything that this shop didn't do right, including the alignment. I'm sure I could go there and get the paperwork unless I find another screenshot of what they fixed. This shop wanted to justify not refunding the labor fees, but to keep coming back. I was given back maybe $150 or so, and I was like whatever. What I didn't like is some of their guy's attitude, maybe because I wasn't spanish, or whatever, which sucks because I get along just fine with whoever it is. I've been here for well over 20 years, so I don't wanna hear this weird foreigner lingo. I bet you guys would also not try to bs your customers from wherever you were from in your own country as well, right? But welcome to America where we selectively treat certain folks differently. Screw me, right? I'd be weary. It's a shady behavior. Maybe because I didn't come in with a fancy truck but just a ram 1500. Who knows. All I know is that I now cannot find their FB page, and that in itself is VERY shady. I will keep spreading the word that you guys are full of nonsense because all you guys do is have your friends 5 star your business. Which are the same ones that speak your language too. Crazy. I also appreciate the dick symbol that was drawn on my drivers side mirror at the time. If the shop needs some pacifiers and diapers, let me know. I'm sure your parents would be proud of how you guys treated me, and I wasn't asking for much either. But thanks for taking my money, though.

Don't bring your car here! I had front end work done on my car and needed a front-end alignment…read more The car was pulling ever so lightly to the left. I dropped it off at Pep Boys in Pinellas Park and left. They said it would take about an hour and after about an hour I called them. They said my car was ready. I picked up my car and as I was driving home, I noticed that there was a loud noise and the care was pulling hard right. I had my husband drive it when I got home and he told me to take it back. After a second attempt (which I don't think they did) the car was still noisy and pulling hard right. When I complained about it they said that the front-end parts were put on wrong. When we got the car home for the second time my husband put it on stands and looked at it. The work was perfect He found that the loud noise was coming from the tires. They took my tires off but failed to tighten the lug nuts. We tightened those and the noise disappeared. Then we took the car to Tire Kingdom. We didn't tell them about our experience at Pep Boys; just asked for the alignment and take a look underneath to make sure everything was good. I got a call from them about two hours later. The was ready and tracking straight. The tech form Tire Kingdom compliment the front-end work say it was beautiful. I have since disputed the charges with corporate. They said that they received the rebuttal form the shop who stated the front-end was assembled wrong. Liars! Do Not Bring Your Car Here.
