Ahhhh! I was super excited and SHOCKED to receive a phone call from Belliston's today…read more I dropped my wedding ring off late afternoon on Wednesday (let's be honest it was almost closing time for these guys) I needed it resized and since they'd have it in store why not get it cleaned and plated. They told me it would be about a week to a week and a half. Which was fine because it's a tension setting and I was ok with the timing because quality takes time. Today is Saturday, as in 3 days later, not a week and a half like I initially thought. I got tears in my eyes when I put it on, it's been a while since I've been able to wear it and I love love LOVE my ring, which my hubby and I designed with the help of Belliston's back in 2007! Thank you guys for once again wowing me! It's as if I just got engaged all over again. I catch a glimpse of it in every light, it gives me butterflies and reminds me of sweetheart.

I recently was looking for a local jeweler that could repair the setting of the diamond on my…read morewedding ring. I tried a couple of other jewelers that either overcharged me or wouldn't work on my ring at all due to the black hills 10K gold. I decided to give Franco Jewelers a try and get an estimate for repairs at the minimum. I was the only customer in the store, and the jeweler assisted me right away. I explained that I'd broken the tip off one of the prongs on the diamond and asked if they could fix it and at what cost. He looked at the ring and said he'd have to do all of the prongs, including the one I had fixed last year, due to his laser process. He said he'd use 14K gold and fix all 6 prongs for $70. This was nearly the same price that I paid last year for soldering just one prong at a different jeweler. He also said he'd have it ready in a week or less. Again this was 1/2 the timeframe I waited for just one prong repair last year. Of course, I jumped on the deal. After a week, I checked in and he told me the ring was ready. When I picked it up, the counter person was super friendly and encouraged me to return for periodic cleaning at no charge. She assured me it would only take 5 minutes and was worth the time to make sure the diamond continued to sparkle. I'm very happy with the work done on my ring and would definitely recommend Franco Jewelers to all my friends and family.

I cannot say enough how wonderful this place is! I ran into it by chance while visiting Ogden and I…read morekept returning whenever we have to stay over in town. I signed up for the silver snake ring class and ended up taking one more class on making a copper bowl. Then on my next visit, I asked for a private lesson where I could design a copper bowl on my own and re-make my silver snake ring into a bracelet. The ring was gorgeous, but was a bit heavy for my finger. Now the beautiful light bracelet is just perfect! The abstract bowl I made is also very much to my style. But I certainly appreciated the technique Rene taught me in making the proper round bowl. Everyone in the shop is super nice, from the artist to front desk people, everyone is just warm and happy being. I highly recommend the classes in this place. So reasonably priced and so worth it!

My husband got my wedding ring made at Bryson's Rock Shop last year prior to our ceremony. He…read morebrought in my current engagement ring for sizing, and all the material and stones needed for him to complete it. It was almost 400 dollars for the jeweler there (I can't remember his name; he speaks broken English) to create the band and set the stones... Even though he had the size plus another ring to go off of, the ring was too large and slid in every photo we took at the ceremony. Three months later I went to have it cleaned and the jeweler said my stones were not set correctly so he couldn't use the ultrasonic machine to clean it. Three months after that, my center stone (a one carat black diamond) almost fell out, sinking down into the setting in a way I didn't think possible. Thankfully my husband told me the jeweler said he would size it or fix it if anything went wrong... I went in today to see if he could fix it, no rush needed. I was talking with a lovely lady who worked there, moments away from spending at least one to two hundred dollars on a moldavite ring or stone, when I decided to not support a business which does not back its sellers and craftsmen under their name. David didn't give me the time of day and wouldn't even talk about fixing his mistake for less than $30. He could have said $5 and i still would've walked. With the way the world is, can't we agree we should only support people who have pride in their work and honor their word? Now I have to find someone else who will touch his work, which is done quite unconventionally. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS MAN. He does not care about you, or about the value of his word, or the impact your piece of jewelry you commissioned him to make has on you. I have recommended this store to dozens of people over the past year; I will now turn it into telling everyone to not support them.
