My husband got my wedding ring made at Bryson's Rock Shop last year prior to our ceremony. He brought in my current engagement ring for sizing, and all the material and stones needed for him to complete it. It was almost 400 dollars for the jeweler there (I can't remember his name; he speaks broken English) to create the band and set the stones... Even though he had the size plus another ring to go off of, the ring was too large and slid in every photo we took at the ceremony. Three months later I went to have it cleaned and the jeweler said my stones were not set correctly so he couldn't use the ultrasonic machine to clean it. Three months after that, my center stone (a one carat black diamond) almost fell out, sinking down into the setting in a way I didn't think possible. Thankfully my husband told me the jeweler said he would size it or fix it if anything went wrong... I went in today to see if he could fix it, no rush needed. I was talking with a lovely lady who worked there, moments away from spending at least one to two hundred dollars on a moldavite ring or stone, when I decided to not support a business which does not back its sellers and craftsmen under their name. David didn't give me the time of day and wouldn't even talk about fixing his mistake for less than $30. He could have said $5 and i still would've walked. With the way the world is, can't we agree we should only support people who have pride in their work and honor their word? Now I have to find someone else who will touch his work, which is done quite unconventionally. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS MAN. He does not care about you, or about the value of his word, or the impact your piece of jewelry you commissioned him to make has on you. I have recommended this store to dozens of people over the past year; I will now turn it into telling everyone to not support them. read more

The guy working there came off more like a burnt-out hippy than someone genuinely interested in helping or sharing knowledge. When I asked simple questions, he was rude and dismissive--literally told me, 'I can't tell you anything more, just look it up.' That's not exactly what you'd expect from someone supposedly educated in geology. The attitude definitely ruined the experience for me. read more

The energy at Bryson's is amazing. For me it is like being a kid in a candy store. There are so many things to look at and every time I go in there, there's new and different everywhere. They are high-quality, very reasonably price, very knowledgeable. The staff is so helpful and kind. I will go in and ask questions or if you're looking for something specific and they are always happy to help. They're patients as I pick through to find the one rock that I am really drawn to. My children may inherit the most amazing collection of beautiful rocks when I die, but while I live I will be a very happy woman. read more

They made me the most beautiful wedding ring! The people who work here are wonderful. I picked out the stone and showed them the design and it came out great! This jeweler has a delicate touch and his own designs are intricate. Over the months they have been cleaning up the place and making it look better. My first time coming here all employees were amazing with me and so was the owner. I was wanting to get some healing crystals for my son and they gave me suggestions and I ended up getting good options :) I was so happy with my experience because I had no idea what I was looking for and they helped me every step of the way. There is nothing but love & light in this store. The owner took time to explain what each crystal does and how it can help my son. They even grounded down a small slab I found so it wouldn't hurt him. They treated me like family. This was the first local metaphysical store i found and I won't go anymore else now.
